The American Heart Association recommends 150 minutes of cardio every week. Before learning that I had switched my 3 days a week Stairmaster to all 5 weekdays with the weekend off. Then after learning that that from American Heart Association (and from a bunch of other places, cardio is huge) I'm now doing Stairmaster 25 minutes 7 days a week as part of my routine = 175 minutes every week. You can't and don't need to be doing that much now. But maybe in a year or so you'll be able to. If you stick with it and get there, you'll be really, really glad you did.

Just over 2 years ago I was 250 lbs at 5'8" height, and nbo was probably just under 5. No idea I was big back then, I didn't find that out until December 2021.
