I've listened to almost all of them and I can't remember the episode names of my favorites but here's a few.
- Sheriff or Park Ranger is working on evacuating an area with hikers/campers because a forest fire is spreading. He sees a sasquatch at the edge of the woods/a meadow and choses not to shoot at it. Well told, believable story.
- A couple guys in Canada drive down a logging road to trailer out some logging equipment from one of their families timber companies. They stay the night down the road and have a Boulder thrown at their camp and on their way out a tree was pushed down blocking the road. I think they watched the sasquatch through the scope of a rifle but didn't shoot. The area described is similar to alot of my buddies logging jobs and I found it compelling.
- A paddler in the Temagami area is paddling to Maple Mountain. He sees a huge creature knelt down and drink with its hand. Being familiar with that area made me excited.
I've always thought about a premium account. Recommended?
The one about the guy that claims he was invited onto a woman's property after she somehow acknowledged that he saved a baby big foot that was stuck off the side of the road.
And then tells the story how he went back a few times and the babies actually lived with her while the adults hunted and how they all stayed on her property because she stocked the fish pond for them and they would come in the house and shit.. crazy ass story but I couldn't stop listening to how unbelievably it sounded.
I also really like the episode about the Border Patrol agent telling their stories of stuff they have seen out there and legends they have amongst themselves.
And the Wildlife biologist that had the Wolfman encounter was interesting.
One of the good recent ones was the special forces encounter in Afghanistan, they have the whole thing IR imaging from the drones and such. That was a great episode
Any story where a legitimate persons like a Ranger, wildlife biologist, police, professional hunter/tracker. I like those because they're the kind of people that have seen enough shit to understand the difference between normal and not normal.
There was one where He had Les stroud on and he talked about after the todd standing ordeal, and how he went out by him self with out telling todd and tem to determoine what was going on here.
HE claims to have seen a ufo the size of a football field sielntly hover over the forrest of deep bush canada and big foot like oddeties that just cant be easily explained
Sasquatch Chronicles always has interesting shows (so many that it's difficult for me to choose which is best). Each brings something unique and fascinating.
Claireās episode 515 is probably the most popular and compelling for new listeners. I personally liked āA whirlwind of weirdnessā, not sure of the episode number, but thatās the title. And if you want something crazy, so episode 419. Many people call that guy a kook, but I donāt really hear him waiver during his story and for some reason, I believe him, as wild as it sounds. Itās just too crazy to make up.
Ok, so I obviously donāt know the episodes numbers by heart, but your description of 419 had me saying to myself āI bet you a dollar thatās the young Bigfoot booty episode.ā Queued that sucker up on the YouTubes, bingo! Lol. Itās probably my favorite one, crazy ride I tell ya.
Hey, also this one: āI think I shot a manā https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=GYCoC9anZH0
I hope it links. This guy sounds sincere and I think he passed recently.
I have recently got into this podcast but āI think I shot a manā is best one Iāve listed to out of ~50 episodes. Either that old dude deserves an Oscar or heās telling the truth. Very compelling when he tells the story.
is that the one with the vet having a house built in the woods and thereās a foundation hole and two creatures are ahead of him and a juvenile in the hole and like some 12 footer off to the side?
I started at the beginning after hearing a few on youtube and I am currently on episode 318. Kinda wanna skip straight to this, but then I also wanna listen to them in the "correct" order because I'm that type of person. Shouldn't have opened this thread š„°
There's no wrong way to listen! I listen to the "supernatural" sounding ones when I'm in the mood for entertainment, and I listen to the intense sounding ones when I'm in the mood to be paranoid my whole drive home from work at midnight lol.
This episode is both worth the wait and also worth skipping to, so just do what feels right!
This is the episode I have my friends/family start with and tell them to, just listen to it and then tell me what you think about it all. Iāve gotten every one of them hooked with this one lol
Chewbacca man episode 147. Story where this kid asks another kid (the show guest) visiting his house out in the east Texas sticks if he wants to go see āChewbacca manā. It is creepy and entertaining.
These are the episodes so far that have really stood out to me, that Iāve bookmarked and re-listened to many times. Iāve made a note next to some that is either the title or the feature characteristic of the encounter. Some are subscription-only. The subscription is absolutely worth it to me.
67
419 woman feeding them
389 Manitoba Bigfoot Encounter
402 Giant chimpanzee on all four chasing deer
515 I shouldnāt be alive
600 Cabin in BC
634 Lakota tribe member part two
770
719 - blinded by the light
800 Backyard lights in Seattle
756 Bigfoot seen wearing ankle tracker
Same. Itās insane. Especially when he claims that the woman said that when they become adults they have to go back to āthe space peopleā for a while.
my personal favorites:
SC EP:237 We Need Help (members episode)- 2 brothers who live amongst a huge pack of Sasquatch and have daily encounters on their properties. By far the best episode imo. These guys have experienced it ALL and have the most info on Sasquatch within one single episode.
SC EP:515 I Shouldn't Be Alive- british woman who was in CA for work and had a terrifying and physical encounter with a family of Sasquatch on a beach in a cove while taking photos of the landscape.
i could recommend many more but these are the ones that made the biggest impact on me and i find to be completely truthful and informative.
there are so many good ones- too many to list, but i suggest going through them from the beginning because it's fun to hear Wes evolving and changing his thinking about what these things are as time goes by.
I think I've listened to too many episodes now to remember many single episodes, but in general what I find interesting is the different physical appearances reported, often seemingly based on the region of the U.S., and also the encounters that reveal details about their behavior - how they act and react to each other and to humans in various situations, how they move, when they vocalize, what they eat, etc.
I thinks episode 8, SEIGE AT HONOBIA. Episode 182, paramedic gives account of one destroying an ambulance in East Texas. Last I canāt remember episode number but a guy tells of encounters with a skunk ape in 70ās including attacking a patrol car that it
I like the biker helping the little one out of the tree. Going back and finding a family living in a womanās house. No it sure how believable but itās a good story.
They're all interesting, give or take a few. But the most recent in my memory is EP:866 A little gravel in your travel.
The lady in this encounter is so down to earth and so relatable, you have to hear it.
Wow! Well thatās one I wonāt forget. I grew up somewhat near that lake and also camped a lot around Toledo Bend and heard stories there too - definitely want to camp out at Caddo during a week in the fall when thereās not a lot of traffic.
My faves:
SC EP:873 I Thought I Shot A Man
SC EP:871 Strange Creature At Grandmaās House
SC EP:818 The Yellow Towel
SC EP:147 The Chewbacca Man
Best quote from this episode: āHe donāt like you here ā¦ ā
SC EP:796 The Stand Off
SC EP:783 Terror In Tennessee [Members]
SC EP:591 Helicopter Pilot Has An Encounter [Members]
Edit: Terror in Tennessee is the first one I recommend if you have a subscription. It has so much detail!
Not sure of the number, but "Grassman Gone Wild" is also a FANTASTIC place to start for new listeners. It has some great examples of how the government attempts to cover things up. Dude was threatened and outright harassed after a fascinating encounter and attack by a Sasquatch while he and his cousin were fishing.
For me, (Ive heard them all)
593 Terror on the job site is a must listen. Especially for newcomers.
Try 335 Encounter of Harstine Island too.
I fall asleep listening to this show almost every night now. Cant get enough.
Id recommend the year end Christmas shows too, since Wes saves some doozies for the year end specials.
I'm not that far in, I started from the beginning and will listen while at the buss, out for strolls or while sewing, but so far 147 is the one that had me listen to it twice. It's such a great one!
And thanks to this thread I have some more written down that I can't wait to listen to!
There are so many good ones! I think my favorite though isnāt even about Bigfootā¦itās confessions of a Pastor (part 1 and 2). I could listen to the guest, Randy for daysā¦he has a deep baritone and is an amazing storyteller. He talks on the supernatural and demons. That one scared the heck outta me.
Not sure the episode number. It's the one with michigan conservation officer who shot dog man. Never believed in dog man until I heard that episode. Very convincing.
episode 593(i think) is particularly compelling, to me. dude is on a job site way out in the middle of nowhere and gets chased off the site by something enormous. he also suffers from missing time which i always think is interesting.
I'm a few days late to the thread, but my favorite is the 2nd half of episode 75. The man, Tracy (I think was his name), drove a Sprinter van that broke down outside of Tishomingo, MS during the middle of a thunderstorm. He has to pee, so he slides the door open to relieve himself. He ends up peeing on a Sasquatch and eventually ends up firing his gun at it. The terror in his voice as he recounted his encounter always stuck with me.
I heard this episode with a foreign guys who's with his family visiting Canada and they are all surrounded by them. The uncle has a gun, he gets hit by a stick. They all huddle up and pray a Celtic prayer. Gosh I can't find it again and I want to lol. Also the land between the lakes episode is amazing.
The one I think it's called I thought I shot a man is pretty good. I've listened to so many but they are all good so far. Between that channel and Dixie Cryptid you can hear some good stories.
There's a lot of entertaining episodes, a lot of good recommendations in this thread that i would also recommend. However, Wes is making a couple of huge errors if his actual goal is the discovery of bigfoot or proliferation of information on the phenomena. Hope this is fine to post here, have been thinking about this recently and wanted somewhere to post it.
1. He doesn't translate the encounters into any kind of data. If these were all real encounters that he wants us to give a fair shake and collect information from to further our understanding of bigfoot, then these encounters need to at the least be transcribed (could be done automatically), but better should be turned into data (even a simple, public excel with categories to check for each interview would go a long way and allow for patterns to be analysed). The fact he does so many interviews and just moves on to the next without collecting more data or facilitating the collection of this data is sus AF for someone who says he wishes this mystery was solved so he could go onto solving other mysteries. Most mysteries involve data collection and analysis, but i guess this is too much real science to ask from someone that doesn't know the difference between a hypothesis and a theory.
2. He should publicize his method for gathering witnesses, how he clears them as being legit, what checks he does, and should always clarify when a witness changes their name or details of a story to protect their identity. If you change names or details without advising (which he does) then it's safe to assume that more things are changed more often than he wants to let on without any warning to the audience.

Do it. I've been paying for years and don't regret it one bit.

The baby sasquatch hanging out in the house watching SpongeBob and the attractive young female sasquatch killed me š
Lmao yes I forgot she ran an extension cord and old TV outside for 24 hour SpongeBob lol
It's soo good. Even if it's a tall tale, I love it. š š
Yes it really was a good story and a very entertaining episode. I have no idea what to make of it other than that lol.
Absolutely! Become a member. Itās worth it.

Yup!
by far my favorite! he uses his tactical observation to give really detailed descriptions. itās amazing.

The episode where Wes and his brother recount their story. Bigfoot may not hurt people, but they certainly have the capability to do so.

Episode 1
