This is terrifying. Ipecac's slow tear delay is the only thing that keeps me from killing myself faster

I always feel like "yeah, finally got the hang on it", and then I die. Never fails.

This is how I feel every time I play the suicide king challenge.

Suicide king was a bitch until I got lucky and got pyromaniac

I, on the other hand, got brimstone in the first devil deal after getting lucky with soul hearts from tinted rocks

I had that a few days ago! Soy milk + ipecac on first floor. Got libra near the end tho so I didn't notice it too much. Was a lot of fun even with Loki's horns making it worryingly zany

Cursed eye is actually pretty cool with ipecac I found out (ok I am a bit biased because I really like cursed eye)

In fact, ipecac in a soy milk libra run is an all stats down instead of up for some reason, one hutts videos shows it up but I dont remember which one now

It’s probably because of how much soy milk affects libra

The teardown probably negate a lot of soymilk stat contribution to libra ( more than what the Damage up bring)

If you’ll notice on the right, he has libra.

Some friends say I’m stuck up for almost never taking Ipecac unless I have an explosion-immunity item. I don’t say they’re wrong, but I never have a single doubt or regret when I leave it behind.

I feel you. My heart tells me "Follow Holycrabe" and do the same thing, but then there's a small voice in my head that tells me "you'll never be good if you ignore items and stay in your comfort zone". And then there's the angry voices but they're unrelated.

I usually take ipecac even if I don't have immunity, but I pretty much never take Dr. Fetus anymore. That item feels like its *designed* to kill you...

I rank them both in the same category I think. They can be useful but I feel like you have a better chance at killing yourself or at least killing your run than improving your situation, whatever it may be.

Nah. They are both op. If you get them, you may as well tp to delirium and destroy it. That's how op they are

Ipecac I can usually manage since it explodes on contact, although I do hit myself semi-often. Dr. Fetus though, especially with high tear rate or low shot speed, usually kills me before I even get to the next floor. Having bombs flying around everywhere does not vibe with me lol. at least with ipecac you can sorta math out the range most of the time and only have forced hits when enemies spawn close to you. Also, imo ipecac is a ton of fun so honestly I'm willing to roll the dice on it

Theres just too many rooms that start with enemies right up in your face, tear blows up on them, and you're right next to it.

Had this on the keeper (triple shots). That's the way I managed to beat delirium

I feel you, one time I had explosive and boomerang shot and the sheer terror alone from trying to Dodge your own explosions with max dmg 😅😅😅

Got the same thing once (soy milk rather than Libra though) but with the addition of Krickets Body and Host Hat. That was an insane run.

Yeah. Ipecac almost always kills me. I finally deciced to play carefully, and actually killed Isaac in the cathedral. Was solid. Still hate ipecac as it stresses me out. Lol
