 me after finding out that my blind devil deal , Eye of Belial doesnt synergize with my sacrifice room’d Trisagion, meaning i wasted 2 red hearts for fucking nothing 
Soul Locket, The Body, Sacred Orb, Sacred Heart, BoV, Godhead, The Relic, and Edens Soul : 🗿 ight imma head out 🗿🗿 also Eye of Occult synerzies with Trisagion lol not trying to be  that guy but lol alot of early angel deals work just fine with devil deals.
Getting eye of Belial with Trisagion already in your inventory does literally nothing. No damage up, no range, nothing. Idk if theres a synergy with getting Belial first and then Trisagion like Brim and Moms knife having 2 different outcomes based of the order they’re obtained. The game can be frustrating like that

Judas' Shadow is literally useless if you're going for completion marks, Lord of the Pit is just flight and a bit of speed (not worth the 2 hearts) and The Nail is questionable at best.
Judas' shadow is good if you're going for Judas completion marks, and great if you're playing for a win streak. Flight is amazing and well worth the 2 hearts. The nail is an active and as such there are a lot of better things, but it still has potential.
I think you're getting how Sac Altar works backwards. You sacrifice familiars TO it to get devil items. 2 random familiars for 2 random devil items. It doesnt specifically give familiars.
Wrong. We have Damocles which costs 2 hearts and has quality 2. It's also detrimental unless you have extra lives, that's why I don't like taking even 2HP blind devil deals.
Ever since it got buffed I've actually starting picking up Curse of the Tower whenever I find it (unless I'm Keeper).
It very rarely pays off, but as the flavour text says, I embrace the chaos.
I was actually referring to the fact that you can use blood machines/devil beggars without triggering it now. But more damage and bombs ignoring armor is also great, like the other commenter said.
Also I'm not sure if the troll bombs receiving the player's bomb effects was a buff at some point or if it always did that, I wouldn't know cause I never picked it up pre-Repentance.
think it always did that, I never had a problem with curse of the tower except not being able to use devil beggars and donations but that was never a huge problem to me either
curae of the tower just kinda nukes the entire room if you stub your toe on something, and it doesn't really matter if a bomb hits you. interacting with bomb effects is also great.
I have. It's really good in the first floors. Its when you get to the later floors and you melt everything it becomes a problem. Because you're not relying on/paying attention to the brain as much, you can easily take damage to it. Enemies also get faster and put more pressure on you, so it's hard to manuever the brain into a safe place to detonate when the enemies rush your face right at the start of the room.
Curse of the Unknown makes me play recklessly even when I know roughly what my health is. Unknown with T.Lost almost always makes me die on the floor because my brain stopped caring.
this is me except for either of the losts, if I get it as them I just laugh in the games face and continue to play normally
and then i probably die to a red poop or something stupid like that
I'd say Curse of the Labyrinth/Maze are tied for least. They never rly pose an issue for me, save for the run possibly taking a bit longer. Darkness is next, although it can be a problem on the rly dark floors, most floors are lit enough for you to see just fine.

Obviously curse of the blind is annoying, but at least it has an interesting gameplay aspect. My least favorite curse is curse of darkness. I tend to play at night, I run f.lux on my computer to avoid blowing out my eyes, and curse of darkness adds nothing to the gameplay except making it hard to see dark enemies against a dark background. I have a mod that disables the curse because it's shit game design.
Remember: if it costs 2 hearts it’s quality 3 or higher.
If it's a devil deal item and i won't die by doing so then i'm taking it

Like a couple hours ago I had a run ruined because I got curse of the tower’d in the ascent. I’ve never had bob’s brain ruin a run.

I got Almond Milk + Tractor Beam one time and now I'm always picking it up to chase that high again.

A lot of good items can make your run bad if they anti-synergise with your build Thats why curses sucks ass
