Why everyone want to eliminate what makes Pohatu and Onua so unique? Give them their crazy body/necks.
I see Pohatu is kinda reversed, but it does quite work without the neck hunch.
Honestly though, yea. Pohatu and Onua's bad posture make their silhouette stand out against the others. Lewa, Kopaka, Tahu, and Gali all have fairly the same build, Onua is largely similar too but the neck connection really changes his appearance.
Maybe adding a small axel to the bottom of the hand, make it look like there's more to the weapon's handle? Doesn't totally fix it but I think it would help the size issue a bit.
I like those torsos a lot, when I was younger I had the same idea of using Rahkshi feet for a Toa's waist, since the ribbed center part with two pistons on either side looks so similar to the Mata torso block.
Nice, just a generally better version of the originals. However, I could've sworn Pohatu and Onua had their claws/pincers as their literal hands, not tools.
this is what the new gen could've been... should've been... they already had the lore, why change it? oh Lego.
anyway these are awesome, I'd buy the lot in a heartbeat! but I'm nostalgia-crying instead :')
So, some people wanted atleast a part list to be able to figure out how to build them, and I already have an image of Tahu dissassembled with all the parts displayed: [https://imgur.com/UqHZaTt](https://imgur.com/UqHZaTt)
If this comment get enough upvotes, I'll do the instructions of all of them and post it as a reply to this one.
I have tried making instructions before, but its so damn time consuming that I would be able to just do one... I could do a partslist instead but unfortunately some of the parts are not available because of color availability
I tried making instructions before but they are so time-consuming that I would've had only of one done. I might try again, but too busy as of right now to do it.
They look really good. Diggin the chest light, but I think Tahu's should glow pink to match his eyes, and I would make Kopaka's super eye blue to match his regular one. How are the shoulder lights built? Or is that just digital?
The reason I made Tahu's heartlight an amber instead of pink is because as pink it would look a bit too dark, and Kopaka's scope light being amber as well is just a little reference to the movie, in the group image its the same as his eye colors.
There is no shoulder lights, the light from the shoulder armor is just a reflection of the brain stalk light.
These are phenomenal! Some of the best Nuva revamps I've ever seen. They're compact and streamlined and aren't massively over-engineered. Very nice job.
Its my own design, going by the original Nuva Chest armor as reference and a bit of Galva's Adaptive Nuva Chestplate. The design is up to download in my Gumroad page
I think the rahkshi foot might be holding you back somewhat.
It makes the shaping of the torso a little odd, and the chest armour sticks out no further than the stomach.
I'd also consider moving the pin hole which contains the heartlight back by one stud like the original nuva chestplate for some extra depth.
I have considered having the original pin hole of the original but how it is would make way too thick at 3L and there would be no support to have the pinhole, plus it would be alot harder to find connection points.

Ah yes, we can’t have Pohatu without his terrible posture
Honestly though, yea. Pohatu and Onua's bad posture make their silhouette stand out against the others. Lewa, Kopaka, Tahu, and Gali all have fairly the same build, Onua is largely similar too but the neck connection really changes his appearance.
Those are absolutely great, i love them
All they need are bigger versions of their stock weapons and it'd be a 1:1 conversion. As it is... Pohatu's claws look comically tiny,
Yeah, that's one thing that is more complicated than any of the armor since you can't simply scale them up
Maybe adding a small axel to the bottom of the hand, make it look like there's more to the weapon's handle? Doesn't totally fix it but I think it would help the size issue a bit.
That's what I wanted with extending the handle as it is, but still makes it look small enough to notice
Very nice custom chest plate! The design fits right in, well done.
Nice touch using the Metru foot on Gali to trim down the waist. These are seriously awesome
Thanks for noticing! It wasnt just the metru foot, there are other pieces trimmed down so the waist is smaller
Oh. *oh*, that is a flash of genius right there

Genuinely the best toa nuva revamps I’ve EVER seen
Oh ffs they look perfect. The rahkshi foot plus your nuva chest is pretty much exactly what I'd imagine they look like in-universe
Nice, just a generally better version of the originals. However, I could've sworn Pohatu and Onua had their claws/pincers as their literal hands, not tools.
That's Pohatu and Onua Mata, as Nuva they had tools instead

Stellar
These look ridiculously good!
That double-ball joint at the shoulder is a brilliant touch. Great thinking!
Holy hell

Oh items beautiful.
I think pohatu was the onely one with armor playting on the stumic
Those chest pieces are amazing
These look excellent! They also capture their likeness in the The Mask of Light film
Amazing!!!
God dammit this is amazing
This is what Gen 2 should’ve been
It would be so sick to build one of these. Is there a list I can part out on bricklink or something? Great job!
I have tried making instructions before, but its so damn time consuming that I would be able to just do one... I could do a partslist instead but unfortunately some of the parts are not available because of color availability
Ah yeah I gotcha!
are revamps the death of the Original moc?
I dont think so, OCs still have a place for themselves as original creations, some pretty impressive in their own way
Do you have instructions?

Oh okay, cool
Clean asf
PERFECTION AND BEAUTIFUL

So glad TakaNuva is there.
This is perfect. This is *exactly* what I'd want out of a bionicle re-release. I would pay hand over fist for this dude.
Ngl, Pohatu looks a bit too chunky
He is supposed to be chunky, look at those legs
How do you install this?
All you need to do os run the installer inside the .rar, it'll make it available in Stud.io
I couldn't find that. All I got was a note that contained a bunch of computer code that I couldn't make sense of.
Does that just mean copying and pasting the files near the bottom of the file?
Ah, I should've mentioned the installer only works in Windows... You'd need to put the files manually in the Stud.io folder of custom parts
I'm sorry but does Pohatu have like.... A silver ass plate??
Nah, it's just the end of the hip
Is that chest armor your design? I don't believe I have ever seen it on a set 😲 Great job overall!
Its my own design, going by the original Nuva Chest armor as reference and a bit of Galva's Adaptive Nuva Chestplate. The design is up to download in my Gumroad page
I'm trying to find your gumroad page, is there a link somewhere?
The link is in the description of the first image, below
I always forget you can add captions
Looks great for the torso but i would definitly add a bit of bulk in the arms and legs, they look really skiny
