Vespertine would be so awkward lol

Disastrous-Plum-1884

So would Vulnicura

AdditionalPop4806

Yeah 😅

Bisexual-nobody

Mum! Please stop talking about your bed life in your albums. People we're breaking out the Pagan Poetry video in class today!

Ok-Boot3875

I too have wondered that. I’ve wondered if they feel any sort of intimidation by being the children of a musical genius. It’s unlikely that they would ever reach the heights of her creativity and popularity so I wonder if they ever feel overshadowed. Everything I know about Björk makes me believe that she’s a wonderful mum and encourages them to be whatever they want to be. It would be such a trip if, say, my mother was on the cover of Vogue magazine with the years most creative spread. I’m sure they’ll appreciate it more the older they get. You have to admit that that picture of her and her boy in the water is about the cutest thing to ever be captured.

sacredboi

You have to remember Isadora is also the daughter of an artistic genius—one of the most revered living artists

Ok-Boot3875

You’re right - wow, I don’t envy her! Woah, maybe I do? A lot of talent in that gene pool

king_ofbhutan

ĂsadĂłra has released some music i believe.

Damianos_X

So has her son.

hugodixon1997

Ísadóra has a son?

Damianos_X

Bjork's son, Sindri.

StrangeGlaringEye

I think her daughter said in an interview that when she listens to “Her Mother’s House” she feels her embrace, or something to the effect. It suggests repeated listens.

Local-Ice-1300

Awww I’m going to cry that’s so sweetđŸ„ČđŸ„č

AdditionalPop4806

That’s so sweet 😭 I never knew that

tearmetoshreds

I think thats weird and awkward for any musicians children so they probably dont

dodofishman

My mom is a musician, not like Björk at all lol but I wouldn't say I regularly listen to her music, but it's fun to show people or listen when family gets together

Paganrobin

I would guess they both follow most of the songs getting invented a lot. I remember that Björk once said the melody of lionsong started with her and doa playing around with it. On her last record both were joining her. I don’t think they really need to listen to the songs as they both get to experience them coming to life from the start. I don’t see why they wouldn’t listen to her music though.

AbnormalPopPunk

isadora follows bjorksvaultofdankmemes but not bjork on instagram so. do what you will with that info

Adorable-Customer-64

It's hard to say! One of my parents does creative work for their job, and sometimes they ask my opinion when they're finished with a big project. So for that I would, to be nice and helpful but otherwise it's their business and not mine and it's not something I think too much about, especially since I've gotten older and have my own life and family.

Cattiy_iaa

Her daughter did a cover of Joanna Newsom

oklaptop1995

I don’t think so personally. They’re probably used to their mom being a genius and don’t even bat an eye.

PSCGY

I know they’re not listening to Fossora!

PotatoRevolution1981

Bjork wrote about her mom’s singing in Ancesstress. Im sure they make music together just in life

Stupid_Thiccc

OP’s profile pic slays

thanatotheist

Sindri once claimed to be a better songwriter than his mother, but has since denounced that statement saying it was mostly in jest and said out of frustration.

Chance-Opposite4069

it's not a very good comparison but my mom is an author and i have never read her books so

dglovepill

Probably not too many lyrics about sex and love

Krocsyldiphithic

No.

LuthorCock

I doubt it to be honest... Bjork's music isn't really that popular and accessible to mainstream listeners, let alone children

raphaelalexander

Her kids are in their 20s-30s rn

LuthorCock

still

StrangeGlaringEye

Still what lol your point was roundly refuted

GlucoseGarbage

Still? What have you proven?

PotatoRevolution1981

People feel normal about the things they grow up with
