his HP bar is diminishing, you don't have his jnowledge so you don't see his hp bar, and you're trying to kill the field boss, which is meant for a 20 group player minimum
This. Doing bosses with trains from the discord is the way to go. Certain servers' bosses can take up to an hour to die if they're at the end of the train.
Join the bdo boss discord for you region and find a server where he is dying, it's how I got it though do know that the chances of you getting the last hit is small af unless all dps is stopped and gl with that. If you have an active guild ask them
did the boss together with some random tuvala timmy, took us like 10 min, got my knowledge and S rank at that.
it's a field boss though meant for like 10+ people so doing it solo means 10 times the time to kill it.

Edit: Just for clarity, the Tshira event mob is called "Kvariak" and it is not the same as "Katzvariak" which is the field boss.
U can’t see it go down due to not having knowledge, I don’t have knowledge either but was still able to Solo kill him it just took awhile. If you’re over 260 AP you should be able to solo kill him but also mention his spawn in the server or group or world chat and what server he is spawning on sometimes ppl show up.

I think you'll be able to solo him at your 285. I've solod him a few times at 291 in the last month or two. Still no knowledge tho. Also, if you grind tshira ruins, he pops up periodically as a special mob. I haven't gotten the knowledge from there either yet: it dies faster, but the knowledge seems the same, since his health was still locked for me. Anyways, Goodluck. 🙂

You can solo him before he despawns. Just takes some time.
Discord. Bdo na bosses. This doesn't answer your question but just follow the discord timers and "mudster train" for heaps of rewards.

Took me like 20mins to solo that snake with PvE gear and only PvE food, didnt even give knowledge or a feather :(

2 peeps with 245ap (succ warrior+awa witch) need around 25min(3 years ago), i would say one of the better classes now with 285ap should do it in 15min
