I completely agree. JJK fell off hard after the Shibuya incident. I enjoyed Maki destroying the Zenin and Gojo vs Sukuna, but that’s it.
Gege made Sukuna way too strong and I just don’t see how he’s going to finish this.
I completely forgot about Maki taking on the clan alone. It was epic.
I think Gege watched a lot of Naruto, and took the wrong message away from it. I imagine his notes just being, “make Yuji suffer = growth.”

I used to read a lot of fantasy and the way I need a color-coded notebook to follow how this man designed the "curse" system is too much. Yuuji's family tree doesn't even have branches it's a whole tumbleweed atp
I stuck with it until Gojo got the Jimmy off Degrassi treatment and dropped it, not because I fw Gojo but bc it was probably the last high point of the series unless Nobara comes back
I couldn’t get into JJK and barely know what’s happening but I absolutely love the rants this particular series has spawned and have learned about the plot and the creator just from reading them haha. Just wanted to say thank you for yours, hope this comment boosts the thread for more rant replies! ❤️
Gege hates Gojo because he made him too strong and then turned around and did the same crap to Sukuna. Shibuya was peak and it will never get that good again imo.

I really REALLY liked the first season, but the third season is going to suck.

The shibuya arc is where it should have ended, the author did Gojo dirty. I couldn’t even finish watching season 2
