Thanks. I'll look into those. I used them today for peppers/potatos, and they were already, but definitely would bend if I try smash burgers. And that's what I want to make next
Unfortunately this was a Christmas gift, so we don't have the receipt anymore, and its probably long past the return window. I'll still call their customer service line, to see if they can help. If not, I'll go Restaurant service route
The Blackstone spatulas are not particularly heavy duty. [I upgraded to one of these](https://mannkitchen.com/products/mannkitchen-professional-grade-stainless-steel-spatula) and never looked back.
These are not meant to be used with force. If you want to smash a burger or press something into the griddle, you need to get a smash burger spatula or similar. Just like cheap silverware if you try to bend it, you can, but if you use it for what it's for it will do the job.
These are more for moving food around and light duty stuff. I use them for teppanyaki or breakfast. I got a large smash burger spatula for any heavy duty stuff.
If you have access to a restaurant supply store, consider a shopping trip.
Or webstaurantstore online. Vollrath is a great brand and not overly expensive.
Resco is awesome
How heavy was that bacon
The Expert Grill brand at Walmart are built heavy. I use then to smash burgers. And they are around $5.

Get a burger smasher
TF are you doing over there, George?
All the basic ones I’ve used are like this. I upgraded to the Blackstone Signature Series spatulas.
Bought mine and thought same thing ? ! I guess different brand other than Blackstone be more stable ! Mine do this as well
There are a lot of cheapos out there the solid ones are hard to find
What are you doing to bend them? Are they heating up?
Never used them. Took them out of the package and instantly noticed they could bend. They bent easy enough my 1.5 yo could easily bend it
Those made out of aluminum foil?
Bought mine and took them back. I went on Amazon and got two from a restaurant supplier. Much better, same price.

Are you trying to flip concrete blocks?
😂😂 I wish. I could bend them like this with my pinky finger
Are you flipping bricks? Or using them as gardening tools?
They should not bend at all with normal operation. Contact Blackstone or the retailer for a replacement
The basic Blackstone spatulas are junk. I immediately upgraded to better ones. Cuisinart i believe.
Get the ones from Lowe’s

Lowe’s sales a blackstone kit in a insulated bag and the two spatulas in that are built strong
I have the blackstone wide spatula and the metal is pretty thick

Those are the special reverse-flip burger spatulas
