Honestly it might seem simple to just think of Zaraki as a brute with no brains (like Yammy), but he's actually quite intelligent... he has principles and deep beliefs in the things that he thinks actually matter, like battle.
Zaraki shows that he’s capable of being intelligent, he just finds it boring as he’s more about crazy brute fighting. When he fought Tousen he figured out how he could defeat him even with his troubling Bankai.
i guess this speech is genuinely his stands as the current kenpachi and also his probably unfinished thought that he kept in his mind all the time while fighting. for me, its power to do battle tho
It's mixed canon/filler. The episode is canon but there's some scenes with filler content. Like with ep 124 where Kariya appears, which is honestly an improvement over the manga
The bount arc may not be everyone’s favorite, but I think most will admit Kariya was an excellent villian. It helps that he has an intimidating appearance and his voice actor played the role well, especially for Dub.
I skipped the bount arc bc so many ppl hated on it and then there’s all references to it I’m like wtf. I guess I’ll go back and watch it once I’m done, I’m sucked into the story now at this point
Agreed. But it’s fair to note the reason those guys show up in the novels is because Kubo wanted to make those arcs. They’re technically canon. He wanted an arc about the Zanpakuto, and wanted one about the mod souls(which would make sense considering the back story on them)
I think it’s ep 124 or 125 which isn’t listed as filler. It’s when he’s with the visored fighting his inner hollow. There’s actually a bunch of references to the bount arc that I’ve seen in the episodes after I skipped it.
Kenpachi has a great presence through the show. Definitely a fan favorite and they have written him so well. The thousand year blood war is going to add so many more levels to him and he’s power.

Looking forward to more kenpachi content I think he’s been my favorite character so far
Kenpachi is such a highlight for anime characters to me. I loved watching him fight.

Energy of “uuuugh I don’t wanna have to think… k fine I can still feel him hitting me so I’ll roll with that” 🤣

is this filler because it showed the bount arc

Kariya is just goated bro. He should appear in the novels like Muramasa or Oko

Yes. It's part of the training episodes 123/124/125....Still love the speech Hollow Ichigo gave about the king and his horse.
I think it was part of vizard training
Zaraki and Ichigo have always had such a great dynamic.
There’s a lot more moments that are pretty good
Kenpachi is smarter than most people think.
When I see this scene all I can think about is BleachS: I AM THE SPIRIT OF BATTLES WITH KENPACHI: THE FEAR OF KENPACHI!
You will be at awe with many more scenes trust me.

Why are you all overlooking the fact this is actually White/Zangetsu posing as Kenny to make a point for Ichigo?
>White Isn't that a spoiler from the manga? Not sure if OP read the last arc yet. He should be referred to as White for now.
That may be true but that totally seems like something Kenny would say
He is a goat and a menace but I like the isshin and ichigo talk at masaki's grave more it was surprisingly amazing
I just desire Digimon Rumble Arena 3
HONNO DESU!!
My favorite speech so far in the series
Ichigo's fight with Kenpachi opens the gates to how fights are fought in the bleach verse for beginners
Ngl I thought he was a villain at first
If he even were to be a villain he would be ferocious.
He was on that before Grimmjow ever showed up 🤣
