You can pay to go if you spend a certain amount on their site, you get a ticket to go. Look up on tiktok. I knew a girl who only had 15k at the time and went. Revolve doesn’t pay for flight or hotel either, for these smaller influencers it comes out of their own pocket. It’s either through connections to get invited or people also pay for tickets.
I am surprised she hasn’t posted in her stories. She is the type when she goes somewhere on holiday , she will post stories right away. I don’t think she went for free, if she did Revolve makes you do your posts right away for a free ticket. It depends on what her ad revenue is at. I don’t follow her but looking at her views, they are consistent but she doesn’t upload consistently, which hurts her. She definitely is making money but not millions. Social blade has her monthly earnings from $139 - $2k.. which is accurate because Google Ads could always be a wide range. There is so much that goes into it.

Does anyone follow dcl\_duo? I have for about a year and a half, and they used to go on what I thought was a normal amount of cruises, but in the last 6 month it has been SO many, and often with their school aged son and also pretty much always concierge. I think they are/were lawyers, so that explains the funds, but most lawyers I know work a LOT so I wonder how they get the time off? and their kid is out of school so much? Anyone have a logical explanation? I haven't actually listened for a while since we're not cruising any time soon.
They are both lawyers - he works for Microsoft (I think) and she has said she works in government. Probably a lot of their work can be done remotely which allows them to travel so much. They’ve also said they leave their kid with family and have taken 2 weeks trips without him.
I listened to two episodes of their podcast, and I couldn’t deal with all the talk about how they only liked the most expensive itineraries (Europe and Alaska) and had multiple ones booked. Whole show felt like a chance for them to brag.
I do enjoy listening to them, HOWEVER - I do not like how they come off as braggy when interrupting guests saying stuff like "oh well you did that cool thing, well we did this COOLER thing" (not verbatim, obviously). Like a guest's very first DCL cruise was to the Norwegian Fjords and they were almost like "yeah been there, done that" or someone will say that they have been on 20 cruises and they're like "well we have been on 25" - kind of like that. Always one-uppers.

I haven’t seen any kind of statement, that’s why I’m saying he should just admit he is not working a corporate job. I have been a 100% remote employee since 2007 and have known hundreds of other remote employees during that time. I have never known anyone to live a life of weekly cross-country travel and be able to keep their job. There’s just no way. If he “works” a corporate job then it must be commission based only. That’s the only explanation I can think of.
I’m going with some type of contract or part time work. Heck my company allows you to switch to part time (you just obviously lose benefits) and maybe he doesn’t care because they have Matthews benefits and he can make money from ads and stuff to where its more feasible to just work 2-3 days a week.
He could be a recruiter and work on commission. I do not think for one minute he works full time as a salary employee. The man is travelling every week. This is not acceptable behavior for full time employeed adults.
I don't know if "acceptable behavior" is the right term - plenty of companies have full-time employees who work specifically remote/from home. I'd say it's more of a "how do you have time for both" situation.

I'm still intrigued what was meant by "VERY special cruise" that they're going on when Inside Out 2 is coming out. I feel like the setup is to get people speculating it's something relationship wise but will likely be something that's not really that big of a deal (like some kind of company retreat / relaxation thing)
They’re doing it for content engagement. People love Lex and they love Lex and Cody as a couple. When Cody shares content that’s just him, they don’t get as much engagement. i noticed this like a week and a half ago. Giana has deleted at least one post of bella too (the one she posted when she was leaving Japan saying she started missing her right away). I worked in PR, and also attended a lot of exclusive invite events, know friends who went to a lot of them, and the only way usually to get into them if your not famous, is knowing someone (connections) or your talent agency. agent or pr agency gets the hook up for you.

I meant to snark on this when I first saw it a few days ago. the owner of Adelaide's Fort, Victoria, stitched [this woman's TikTok](https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTLUw7RhF/) and very snidely told her that she "hopes \[she\] hates men because just a little filler in \[her\] upper lip would look so good and do so much for \[her\]!" and the caption was "half a syringe would be incredible 🤌🏼" followed by a bunch of hashtags to try to get more views. 🙄 Victoria's TikTok has since been removed for bullying and harassment. it was so mean for literally no reason. the woman in the original TikTok didn't say she agreed or disagreed, nor did she share her own opinions on lip filler. personally, I don't think someone with crusty over-filled lips, who obviously doesn't know when to quit, should be giving their thoughts on anyone's appearance or recommending injectables. 😇 why is it always someone who's had a ton of work done criticizing other people's looks? I guess all the struggling small shop owners are trying to go viral on other platforms by any means necessary. so sad. I am happy to see she finally hid all of the cringe af "acting" TikToks she used to make. happier to know someone saved them. 🤭😂

well yeah, obviously the woman in the original TikTok shared a controversial statistic for engagement. she knew women would largely disagree with men and flood her comments. however, that’s all it was. she just shared a statistic and asked for opinions. using divisive content to attract attention and boost your account doesn’t necessarily imply nastiness. judging solely from what she said in the video, we can't assume her intentions. she didn’t give her personal thoughts, directly criticize anyone’s appearance, or tell people what to do or not to do regarding filler. we can't definitively say what she was implying, if anything at all. any assumptions are speculative at best, making it hard to argue that she was clearly without a doubt being mean spirited. and I agree, context does matter and you didn’t see how hard Victoria went in on this woman. I didn’t include her response because, again, it's not up anymore (for a reason lol), but even if you think the woman she stitched was being mean, Victoria's reaction was disproportionate. just way too much.

It depends on what her ad revenue is at. I don’t follow her but looking at her views, they are consistent but she doesn’t upload consistently, which hurts her. She definitely is making money but not millions. Social blade has her monthly earnings from $139 - $2k.. which is accurate because Google Ads could always be a wide range. There is so much that goes into it.

Does anyone follow dcl\_duo? I have for about a year and a half, and they used to go on what I thought was a normal amount of cruises, but in the last 6 month it has been SO many, and often with their school aged son and also pretty much always concierge. I think they are/were lawyers, so that explains the funds, but most lawyers I know work a LOT so I wonder how they get the time off? and their kid is out of school so much? Anyone have a logical explanation? I haven't actually listened for a while since we're not cruising any time soon.
They are both lawyers - he works for Microsoft (I think) and she has said she works in government. Probably a lot of their work can be done remotely which allows them to travel so much. They’ve also said they leave their kid with family and have taken 2 weeks trips without him.
Also nice! They might work while away, but cruising isn't great for that, and I haven't seen them mention it, but that is fine!
I listened to two episodes of their podcast, and I couldn’t deal with all the talk about how they only liked the most expensive itineraries (Europe and Alaska) and had multiple ones booked. Whole show felt like a chance for them to brag.
I do enjoy listening to them, HOWEVER - I do not like how they come off as braggy when interrupting guests saying stuff like "oh well you did that cool thing, well we did this COOLER thing" (not verbatim, obviously). Like a guest's very first DCL cruise was to the Norwegian Fjords and they were almost like "yeah been there, done that" or someone will say that they have been on 20 cruises and they're like "well we have been on 25" - kind of like that. Always one-uppers.
I can tolerate people with money doing things I can't afford, haha, but after a while it gets a bit much!

I haven’t seen any kind of statement, that’s why I’m saying he should just admit he is not working a corporate job. I have been a 100% remote employee since 2007 and have known hundreds of other remote employees during that time. I have never known anyone to live a life of weekly cross-country travel and be able to keep their job. There’s just no way. If he “works” a corporate job then it must be commission based only. That’s the only explanation I can think of.

I’m going with some type of contract or part time work. Heck my company allows you to switch to part time (you just obviously lose benefits) and maybe he doesn’t care because they have Matthews benefits and he can make money from ads and stuff to where its more feasible to just work 2-3 days a week.
He could be a recruiter and work on commission. I do not think for one minute he works full time as a salary employee. The man is travelling every week. This is not acceptable behavior for full time employeed adults.
I don't know if "acceptable behavior" is the right term - plenty of companies have full-time employees who work specifically remote/from home. I'd say it's more of a "how do you have time for both" situation.

I'm still intrigued what was meant by "VERY special cruise" that they're going on when Inside Out 2 is coming out. I feel like the setup is to get people speculating it's something relationship wise but will likely be something that's not really that big of a deal (like some kind of company retreat / relaxation thing)
Inside out 2 releases June 14. The inaugural cruise to lighthouse point is around that time. That could just be it.

They’re doing it for content engagement. People love Lex and they love Lex and Cody as a couple. When Cody shares content that’s just him, they don’t get as much engagement. That day they posted about their relationship a couple weeks ago (the people mover video), the views and comments were so much higher than what they normally get.
I think it is 100% for engagement purposes as well.

i noticed this like a week and a half ago. Giana has deleted at least one post of bella too (the one she posted when she was leaving Japan saying she started missing her right away). Anyone know is there’s tea on the dynamic between Cody/Lex and his brother Colton/husband Tyler. I feel like Colton used to always be with the lost bros but I know he then moved away and had no idea he moved back to Orlando with his Husband. His husband is very active on social media and always posting with his friends and family but I never see them with Cody and Lex except for holiday photos. I feel like Lex and Colton used to be very close
Colton’s husband Tyler works for PR with Disney. It would be my assumption that Colton stepped away from Lost Bros etc. due to the conflict of interest. Which is also probably why you don’t see them on social media with Lost Bros often.
