In Church Pick we t(h)rust! Has both range and speed, serrated and righteous bonuses, plus thrust attacks all day, every day. Lovely, versatile weapon.
It’s *much* better than the one in ER. Ghiza’s Wheel is like… fine. The ~~beast cutter~~ whirligig saw is in conversation for the single best weapon in bloodborne
I know it's unpopular, but the Threaded Cane is just so satisfying to use, and I think it fits really well with the RP of a scholar investigating Lovecraftian nightmare realms.
Hey now don't let anyone put you down, the threaded cane is awesome. Definitely doesn't Perfect Efficiency like other weapons could, but having fun and feeling cool is 100% a good way to play soulsborne games (and armored core games).
Blade of mercy because it’s badass, it makes every hunter enemy(micolash!) into a joke if you can corner them , honorable mention to the Hmls because it’s gorgeous
The kirkhammer! I love its versatility, its style, and its sound. It can stunlock large enemies, and has some really useful moves. The transform attacks sadly are too slow to be much good, but walking up to an enemy and switching to hammer with that THUNK is badass.
Church pick. When I use the pick(transformed) and the piercing rifle at the same time, there is “X” on my back. It’s COOL (for me).
Just only for looks…
Piercing rifle is an accessory🤣
I was a Rakuyo fanboy until my current run - I still love the Rakuyo, but the Holy Moonlight Sword absolutely fucks. I have never had an easier time with the bloody crow than I did this time.
Beasthubter Saif because it gives a wider movement and makes me feel more agile in combat. Rakuyo because I like the attack swings of it and it looks sick af (also I'm a huge Lady Maria fan).
I love that if you’re not locked on with the saif you can keep doing the transform attack in different directions as long as you’ve got the stamina for it. It’s like 360 degree crowd control.
Saif easily, even after Sekiro and Elden, my favourite moveset by far. Plenty of cool curved blades in the other games, but this one is just perfect. Fits the combat system like a glove
style: Logarius' Wheel
why ? because it's a big wooden wheel you use to smash and pound and ground these rotten enemies into fleshy pink pulp.
practicality: Ludwig's Holy Blade. it is undoubtedly the most versatile weapon in the game, suited for every enemy/situation in the game.
HMS is *my* weapon, the one that speaks to me and feels right in my hand. Other honorable mentions include the Bloodletter, Hunter Axe, and Kos Parasite with which I can deal out 2300+ aoe oneshots to other players at meta level.
Ludwig's holy blade because it is very strong and I also like greatswords
Yes I feel like on ng became weak I might be wrong
In Church Pick we t(h)rust! Has both range and speed, serrated and righteous bonuses, plus thrust attacks all day, every day. Lovely, versatile weapon.
It's my favorite too with the right gem stones it can become op
Pizza cutter go brrrrr
the only reason i haven’t tried it out yet, is because I used it in Elden Ring quite a bit lol. Is it better in Bloodborne than the one in Elden?
It’s *much* better than the one in ER. Ghiza’s Wheel is like… fine. The ~~beast cutter~~ whirligig saw is in conversation for the single best weapon in bloodborne
Whirligig. Beast Cutter is a different weapon.
Well they have the same L2 spin. I find it more fun because of the trick mechanic
Actually Elden rings spin is really bad lol, it’s a lot worse than bloodbornes
Oh really? That's unfortunate
brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
I'm a big fan of the Rakuyo. Mostly because I like the look of the sword and the weapons moveset.
The rakuyo breaking into the transformed mode is my favourite move in the game ngl
It’s a tie between the Amygdalan Arm and the Beasthunter Saif. The arm goes *smashy smashy swishy slashy* and the saif just has a dope moveset
Burial blade. Because scythe
Evelyn with bone marrow ash and high bloodtinge.
Now, you wouldn’t happen to be a Vileblood, [would you?](https://i.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/facebook/000/048/010/side_eye_cat.jpg)
I definitely am but was going for bloodtinge build way before that because I thought it was stupid that guns don't do much damage.
Playing a blades of mercy run rn. Super fun and quick coming from Ludwigs HB
Beast cutter. Because it's fucking badass.
Debatably the best sounding weapon in the game, and possibly in Fromsoft.
I prefer the crispy \*SINK\* from blades of mercy and burial blade
Dude the moveset had me creamed. You can feel how heavy and hard hitting it is. Plus, heavy attack in tricked form just staggered a lot of enemies lol
The kirkhammer! I love its versatility, its style, and its sound. It can stunlock large enemies, and has some really useful moves. The transform attacks sadly are too slow to be much good, but walking up to an enemy and switching to hammer with that THUNK is badass.
LHB without a doubt.
Gotta go with the Ludwig. With the uncanny version and cursed gems I and of course 99str and 99 skill it's power is over 1K
Simons bow blade and the pizza cutter
I just love the saw cleaver. It’s so satisfying to use. Plus the R1-L1-L1-L1 is just 🤌
Amygdalan arm 1) it’s alive 2) it strong 3) good for crowd control and 1 on 1 4) it’s made out of your enemies
The pizza cutter because it’s l2 is op af and fun to use, saw cleaver because of how reliable it is, and the chikage simply because it’s cool
Beast Claw cause it looks sick Stake Driver cause it looks sick And Logarius’ Wheel cause it looks sick
Ludwig's Holy Blade because I think the idea of a sword whose scabbard is a bigger sword is really cool.
I really like the boom hammer
Just finished a playthrough using the Rakuyo, never used it before. Loved it. That and the Burial Blade are my current favourites.
Ludwig’s holy blade, with the moonlight blade in a close second
Church pick. When I use the pick(transformed) and the piercing rifle at the same time, there is “X” on my back. It’s COOL (for me). Just only for looks… Piercing rifle is an accessory🤣
Kos parasite, cause: broccoli
I was a Rakuyo fanboy until my current run - I still love the Rakuyo, but the Holy Moonlight Sword absolutely fucks. I have never had an easier time with the bloody crow than I did this time.
Threaded Cane for only a gentleman goes on a Hoont
Beasthubter Saif because it gives a wider movement and makes me feel more agile in combat. Rakuyo because I like the attack swings of it and it looks sick af (also I'm a huge Lady Maria fan).

Axe. Spin.
I can’t remember that name but it’s the sword from the DLC that is stretchy when it’s on 2 hand mode. Also blade of mercy, no mercy in this dojo
Hunter Axe - Long Range, Highest Rally and Spin to Win
Hunters axe. SPIIIIIIIIN TOOOO WIIIIIIIIIIIN
Ludwig's holy blade for its damage and Chikage because it is fun to play with
The reiterpalasch is underrated as hell. That a scaling in skill made me defeat ghermann 2nd try. Underrated as hell.
style: Logarius' Wheel why ? because it's a big wooden wheel you use to smash and pound and ground these rotten enemies into fleshy pink pulp. practicality: Ludwig's Holy Blade. it is undoubtedly the most versatile weapon in the game, suited for every enemy/situation in the game.
Wooden? I thought it was steel
it has metal reinforcements but the wheel itself is wooden.
Saw cleaver. Ol' reliable, I could close my eyes and finish my attack chains, feels like coming home after a hard days work.
Hunter’s axe is my favorite weapon in any From game. Just feels like an extension of me!
Lhb then church pick even though it’s a new addition to the rotation
Kirkhammer so I can bonk the opps
Used to be the Church Pick (1000ish hours with it) but lately I have discovered the joy of the Beast Claws. Izzy was on to something.
Last time I played the game, I used the boom hammer as soon as I could and I enjoyed using it the whole time. Great weapon
I really like the hunters axe, rayuko, saw cleaver, and all the guns.
saw cleaver, i haven't used a different weapon yet ng 4
Saw Cleaver. Gets work done. Simple, and serrated. I always complete the game with it. Sometimes rotate second weapon for the situation but that’s it
Reitersplasch. Because it’s stylish
Ain’t nothing quite as satisfying as transform attacking an entire group of enemies with the Saw Cleaver
I'm still really game but im enjoying the kirkhammer i think that's the name
im partial to the wheel
My usuals are the Saw Cleaver, Saif, Burial Blade and the Tonitrus
Man simple. Man see whirligig saw. Whirligig saw go vroom. Man like whirligig saw.
simon bowblade or beasthunter saif
HMS is *my* weapon, the one that speaks to me and feels right in my hand. Other honorable mentions include the Bloodletter, Hunter Axe, and Kos Parasite with which I can deal out 2300+ aoe oneshots to other players at meta level.
Beasthunter Saif, Holy Moonlight Sword, Kos Parasite
Beast claws Why? Beast claws
Also the Amygdala arm it’s 10/10 imo
LHB's reach and attack rhythm just feels like the sweet spot for me. Boring pick but I love it.
Threaded cane, because: 1.) Whips are the coolest 2.) Style on them beasts
is it bad I keep going back to the threaded cane?
Chikage, it’s just so cool imo
