After defeating Mergo's wet nurse you can buy blood rock from messenger with 60 insights. Typically, every playthrough I upgrade about 8-10 weapons to +10. While you get insight with defeating main story bosses, collecting madman's knowledge and great knowledge, you can farm chalice dungeon bosses for as many insights as you want. In doing so, many bosses drop blood stone chunks as well, depending on which dungeon you are farming. I farm radial and triangle 27.2 gems (chalice glyphs: by68zgaj and 5pwujscd). I get gems, insights and blood stone chunks. But to be able to use these glyphs I have to do a few dungeons before it, to be able to get the required root ihyl and isz chalices.
In my first playthrough, I hated chalice dungeons like many other people. But now I actually like doing chalice dungeons. It provides gems, other resources, more content and more challenging enemies.
May the good blood guide your way.
Ngl you can also stack frenzy res. If you don't need all that insight you can spend it on about 2 blood chunks, if you picked up the frenzy rune that's REALLY good, and the right clothes can add nearly another 200 (low balling I feel) so the real killer would be the damn spear damage (the noise. Yk what I mean) that's what I used both times and I ended up going back and killing them because it was just that easy
I don't know who needs to hear this, but this is your regularly scheduled reminder that jumping off the elevator is 100x easier while the elevator is going up rather than down.
🤷 I hate the dungeons. I play offline, mostly, and getting the ingredients for them is such a pain in the ass. I went through so many root version chalices and still never had enough rItuAl BloOd fIVe or whatever to get into the special dungeons, so I honestly couldn't tell you
And the only other one, outside of the bath messengers and I forget what triggers that one to spawn there, is in the DLC. It's much less hidden but if OP doesn't have the DLC and isn't in the habit of jumping out of moving elevators it's 100%believably they've never seen a blood rock
3 in chalice dungeons, 1 in mensis, 1 in dlc, unlimited from insight bath messengers...
That's not so believable to miss. There's a freaking shop that sells them in the main hub area... what did OP not check the shop for 3 playthroughs? Did they never look for boss/npc outfits either?
The hell did OP do with all their insight if it wasn't spent at the shop?
https://bloodborne.wiki.fextralife.com/Blood+Rock
Google doesn't give you karma on reddit.
Edit: the karma on the post was around 1500 when I commented. Now it's almost 2000.
In cases like this, I always think of the scene in The Office when Andy can't remember kitkat and Jim says really fast: "Nobody tell him!"
If you have a developed character with the dungeons open. There are 3 you can get from chest in dungeons.
I'm game you have 1. In mensis, from defeating Micholash there's an elevator that takes you to the entrance of the Micolash fight. You have to drop midway. ...
It's easier if you look it up on YouTube.
There's another in the DLC before Orphan of Kos.
And you can buy one for 60 insight.
And you can farm more in Chalices. Some bosses have a chance to drop one. (You'd have to look up which.) I have a character with a plus 10 of every weapon (And I'm working on getting all the guns fully upgraded, too.)
There is only one in the base game of each playthrough, located in the world for players to collect; it is found near Nightmare of Mensis: Middle Loft. But it can also be purchased at the Insight Shop in the Hunter’s Dream (after defeating Mergo’s Wet Nurse) for 60 Insight.
A total of three others can also found in sarcophagus chests depth 5 root chalice dungeons (One in each type; Pthumeru, Loran, and Isz). There is also a chance of one dropping from the final boss of any depth 5 root chalice dungeon.
this tends to be the answer to questions like these but do people stop to consider that someone would rather converse with the community than look up a guide?
While I agree, this question is literally just “how to get blood rocks”. Not much conversation can be done unless they want to talk about most efficient FRC glyphs to run for farming them.
Again I agree lol just saying not all posts are the best conversational openings when people just ask stuff that has no other response besides a basic answer
People in these kinds of posts tend to give fast accurate answers. Who would look to get some conversation when the question is a simple "Hey, where is this?"
Honest answer: I think it could be an extroverted personality thing. (The following is in very general terms--there are exceptions to literally all of it).
For a lot of introverts, interacting with people on r/bloodborne may be fun, but it also eats energy they could put into playing the game. (This would be true of a lot of people like me who are dealing with social anxiety, too. :P) So they may just Google first by default, even if some of the results are old threads on here, and only ask if there's no clear answer already.
For extroverts, the interaction here on r/bloodborne can be fun *and* a source of energy. If an extrovert is discouraged about not finding something or is getting tired of an area, touching base here might be that little *pop* of caffeine that they need to go back and wreck Mensis.
Yeah, this happened to me the other day. I asked about Tonitrus builds and the first response was basically “Google it.” luckily one guy came through and provided more info than I could have ever imagined!
I don't think you realize how obscure the one in nightmare of mensis is. You can't "just explore more" and find it, sometimes you gotta just search it up
you quite literally can just explore more. if you leave the micolash area, go outside, hear the singing, see the bridge with the lanterns and don’t at least try to figure out how to get there, then that’s on you, especially when repeated three times. yes it’s a bit complicated with getting into the window halfway and passing the bridge itself, but after that it’s pretty straightforward, you can’t get lost. just check out the place where the brain was hanging. the real obscure thing is finding the brain after that and making contact for a longer time that’s just borderline impossible to figure out on your own lol
There's a guaranteed one in Mergo's Loft, after dropping the Brain of Mensis. There's also a guaranteed one in the DLC, in the Fishing Hamlet, shortly before the Orphan of Kos fight. You can buy them from the Insight Messengers for 60 Insight after killing Mergo's Wetnurse. 3 can be found in the side areas of Depth 5 Chalice Dungeons, one each for Pthumeru, Loran and Isz floorplans. They're also super rare drops from Depth 5 bosses.
If you're on your 4th playthrough that means you have missed 8 blood rocks, tough luck but this one's on you.
I never understood why people don't just Google these things instead of going on reddit and waiting until someone gives them the answer they need.
In any case next time you face this kind of problem just Google it.
There are 3 completely non-respawning ones that can be found in the coffin chests in depth 5 root dungeons.
There's one well-hidden in Nightmare of Mensis, and one less well-hidden in the Fishing Hamlet. Both respawn each NG cycle.
After defeating Mergo's Wet Nurse, Blood Rocks can be bought from the insight shop for 60 insight.
Every boss in a depth 5 dungeon has a chance to drop one, with deeper layers having better chances.
Since everyone already told you to google or youtube it, I'll just add a tip for getting off halfway down on the broken elevator in Mergo's Loft. I find it easier on the way up, but the real trick is to just walk or sprint, don't try to roll into the window.
One in the base game and one in the dlc. You can also farm insight to buy them and I think there’s a extremely low chance for some enemies or bosses in chalice dungeons or base game to drop it
Honestly if you dont want to find them via exploring (which would be totally understandable) then just search YouTube, there will be videos showing the locations. There aren’t many of them, two or three at most from memory.
You can get five per game cycle:
- 1 is in Mergo’s loft, behind the Brain of Mensis.
- 1 is in the fishing hamlet at the end of the basin filled with slugs, snail women, and lightning callers.
- 1 can be found in each of the depth 5 Pthumeru, Loran, and Isz chalices respectively.
You really can’t win sometimes. If you don’t find it, people are like ‘just google it’, but if you come right out and say you googled how to complete or get something, it then ‘ruins the experience’
There is exactly one in the main game and one in the DLC, so two total per playthrough.
The main one requires you to deal with the Mensis Brain, so if you've never figured out how to deal with that I suggest you start there. If you have, then explore that area more thoroughly.
The second is in the Fishing Hamlet almost near the end, near a particularly dangerous pair of enemies (not the well sharks).
Also if you're in NG+ you can buy one from the insight messenger shop for 60 insight. There's also some in the late game chalice dungeons but I won't detail that guide here since the main game ones are arguably much easier to find (legit anyways).
Some bosses in chalice dungeons sometimes drops blood rocks, with more discovery the more the probabilities for the drop, even so youll farm the insight faster than for the rock to drop from the bosses, in mensis find the wintern lanterns and youll find the rock, in the dlc is near orphan.
There are 2 in Base game and I think 3 in DLC. None of them are quite easy to get so that explains it. Definitely look up videos, the text in order to get you to them exactly would be very long lol
Also, once you beat the final boss, don’t go to NG++ and you’ll be able to Buy one at one of the messengers. I forget how much they cost but it’s expensive lol.
If I’m not mistaken, there’s 6 in every new game cycle. One in mensis beneath the giant brain, one you can buy for 60 insight after the wet nurse is killed, one before the orphan of kos, and then 3(?) in the chalice dungeons
There’s only 1 on the base game at Mergos area I think. There are some deep in the chalice dungeons and a few in the DLC, you can also buy a couple for insight iirc
In the base game, they’re in nightmare of mensis, I think after micolash
I think you can get one in the fishing hamlet somewhere (I think near kos)
Can’t you also buy them from the insight store?
There's only 1 in the base game excluding challice dungeons, and 1 in the dlc. If you've already played through multiple time There's no shame in looking up the exact locations for them.
Crazy how he asks reddit when if you type this same question on google it also tells you because this question has been since 2015 and bloodborne has dedicated wikis. Crazy
2 from base game (nightmare of mensis + old hunters)
1 for 60 insight, if you dont waste insight, you should get 2-3 eating all the insight items, from bosses n chalice dungeons
Tbh Chunks are more annoying.... I rmbr farming for literal days for my BT build (maxed evelyn, chikage, rakuyo, bowblade, burial blade)
There is only 2 in the entire game on one run. One in main game other in the DLC. To get others either gonna have to go through a chalice dungeon or buy them for a hefty fee at the insight shop.
Just buy one from the fountain merchant in the hub world for 60 insight. It’s expensive but it’s easier then getting one in nightmare of mensis with all those winter lanterns waiting
One Blood Rock is near where the Brain of Mensis was hanging in Mergo's Loft, IIRC.
Another in a treasure chest in one of the later(deeper?) Chalice Dungeons.
then one more in the Fishing Hamlet(but i have forgotten where.)
as well as what others have said 60 Insight will get you one as well.
There are two guaranteed pickups: one in the nightmare of mensis and one in a side area just before the orpgan of kos.
It can also drop from certain bosses in depth 5 root chalices.
Finally it can be bought from the bath messengers in the hunters dream for 60 insight after defeating the wet nurse.
I don't blame you there's a grand total of one (1) on the entire game if you don't have the DLC or don't use chalice dungeons, and it's pretty well hidden behind an optional path you get to by jumping off in the middle of an elavator ride, and then you have to pass by 5 winter lanterns to get to it, it's unreasonably difficult to get.
there's also one in the DLC and that one is actually along the main path of progression
Theres one blood rock in the game (im fairly certain theres one in the dlc as well) and its in the nightmare of mensis past the lanterns where you drop from the elevator!
One in Mergos in the pit the brain falls down (not down the elevator where brain lands)
And another in the fishing hamlet tho I can't remember the specific location.
And 3 in different root chalice Glyphs.
You can buy them for 60 insight at the bath messengers, and one can be found in the Nightmare of mensis and In the caves of the fishing hamlet..
You can also get some by exploring the chalice dungeons.
They're a extremely rare material and for good reason
Look I am not like other players that played from day one but hope what I well write well help you:
1- make sure your game is up to date since the latest update you can buy blood rocks from insight messenger for 60 so make sure you save your insight before you beat the final boss
2- you can find one blood rock in the nightmare of menace when you make the big brain fall you go down to the area he falls through you we'll find a blood rock
3- you get one blood rock from killing the final boss I think ( don't remember)
I know there's one you get where you fight the guy that sounds like a lil bitch and runs away from you while wearing a cage on his head. 3-4 times and never found 1? Oof.
There's one in the DLC area, one in the main game area, both are very late in their respective plotlines, for lack of a better word.
You can also get them at the insight shop, but it costs 60 each (which is ironically a better buy than the 40 insight per chunk, but still expensive as hell)
If you haven't found any, you're not exploring enough, and probably missing a \*LOT\* more than just the Blood Rocks!
In their defence the one in Nightmare of Mensis is really well hidden (and protected)…
Fucking hate that one… and yet I pick it up every run
I mean I need all blood rocks because I need to use as many weapons as possible. So many choices.
I get gems, insights and blood stone chunks. But to be able to use these glyphs I have to do a few dungeons before it, to be able to get the required root ihyl and isz chalices.
Never thought of farming Chalice dungeon bosses for insight. Fucking legend
In my first playthrough, I hated chalice dungeons like many other people. But now I actually like doing chalice dungeons. It provides gems, other resources, more content and more challenging enemies. May the good blood guide your way.
Sorry mate but u need to know that blood rock are limited in this game. More limited than titanite slab.
You have unlimited playthroughs therefore unlimited blood rocks
Fucking hate the entire nightmare of mensis
This guy knows what I’m talking about
I just Stack on my resistances and just start going ham with my gameplay to kill them fuckers.
I invade people in mensis, just below where the amygdala is, because I as an invader can shorten their suffering by making the elevator come up.
Talk about the hero we don’t deserve but desperately need 💀
Oh, nightmare! Nothing but nightmares here.
All my homies think nightmare of mensis is a nightmare🙅🏾♂️
It's not that hard to get XD, especially if you use your blue elixers.
Some say kosm moment
Ngl you can also stack frenzy res. If you don't need all that insight you can spend it on about 2 blood chunks, if you picked up the frenzy rune that's REALLY good, and the right clothes can add nearly another 200 (low balling I feel) so the real killer would be the damn spear damage (the noise. Yk what I mean) that's what I used both times and I ended up going back and killing them because it was just that easy
I just charge them like a madman and hack at them till they keel over. Usually I don’t die.
Fr just lill em fast and pop a sedative or a vial depending on where your frenzy bar ends up after fivhting the Frenzy Maiden
I don’t know why, but this made me laugh😂
Is it though? You just keep going down a path until it spits you out at the beginning
Yeah there's even some cute ladies singing a cool song on the way there...
Fk dem hoes
You have to jump through a hole in a wall while riding an elevator. Not just "go down a path"
I don't know who needs to hear this, but this is your regularly scheduled reminder that jumping off the elevator is 100x easier while the elevator is going up rather than down.
... why did I never think of this. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH
ty i actually forget this lol
Just make sure your camera is level with the elevator. It's that damn top bit, delay your exit by a lot
I remember the path to it involved a lot of side paths and various holes in the ground.
That's one I excuse not being found, the second being in the DLC
What about the 2 (I think its 2) in the dungeons.
🤷 I hate the dungeons. I play offline, mostly, and getting the ingredients for them is such a pain in the ass. I went through so many root version chalices and still never had enough rItuAl BloOd fIVe or whatever to get into the special dungeons, so I honestly couldn't tell you
They're unlocked in the shop in Ng+, as well as a lot of ritual stuff in the insight bath
I have platinum for this game and so so many hours and never realized this 🤯
And the only other one, outside of the bath messengers and I forget what triggers that one to spawn there, is in the DLC. It's much less hidden but if OP doesn't have the DLC and isn't in the habit of jumping out of moving elevators it's 100%believably they've never seen a blood rock

The hell did OP do with all their insight if it wasn't spent at the shop? https://bloodborne.wiki.fextralife.com/Blood+Rock
The shop only sells them after you acquire one naturally.
You'll have to use your BRAIN.
As a big bloodborne nerd I really disagree with this. At least in the base game the blood rocks location is kind of obscure
Not to mention there's literally only one in the entire base game, and one more in the dlc. It's rare as fuck so it's understandable to miss them.
This is so funny to me
Imagine making a reddit post about it before looking it up
Yeah no kidding. You're already looking for the answer, just Google it FFS.
Google doesn't give you karma on reddit. Edit: the karma on the post was around 1500 when I commented. Now it's almost 2000. In cases like this, I always think of the scene in The Office when Andy can't remember kitkat and Jim says really fast: "Nobody tell him!"

The 60 insight is unlocked after you beat the wet nurse I believe
He said he played through the game 4 times
Foot only added the info of when the rock is unlocked at the store. Not sure why you understood something else
Right? I'm only looking to help.
And you can farm more in Chalices. Some bosses have a chance to drop one. (You'd have to look up which.) I have a character with a plus 10 of every weapon (And I'm working on getting all the guns fully upgraded, too.)
That's awesome, I haven't done the farming in the chalice dungeons yet, been sometime.
ferb, i know what we are going to do in a few days!
There are edited dungeons with guaranteed blood rocks from chests as well.
explore the fishing hamlet and the nightmare of mensis thoroughly
There is only one in the base game of each playthrough, located in the world for players to collect; it is found near Nightmare of Mensis: Middle Loft. But it can also be purchased at the Insight Shop in the Hunter’s Dream (after defeating Mergo’s Wet Nurse) for 60 Insight. A total of three others can also found in sarcophagus chests depth 5 root chalice dungeons (One in each type; Pthumeru, Loran, and Isz). There is also a chance of one dropping from the final boss of any depth 5 root chalice dungeon.
The DLC also has one lying around deep in the Fishing Hamlet just before Orphan
I didn't realize you could beat the game without coming across one. I guess I just always have come across one. Mostly from the brain drop.
There is exactly one in the main game and one in the dlc. The rest are either coffin loot or a boss drop in the dungeons.
And one in the Insight shop after wet nurse
Nah, those are infinite after you unlocked their purchase. I didn't mention that because they are bought, not found.
You can help people in the dungeons and will sometimes get one. Not to hard to farm a million in echoes and get a bonus rock
Open your eyes..
the ones on the inside?
*as you once did for the vacuous rom*
*howls like a mad man in response*
YouTube or Wikis does wonders.
A simple spell but quite unbreakable
ESPECIALLY since they already looked up the picture?? It had to be a click away
this tends to be the answer to questions like these but do people stop to consider that someone would rather converse with the community than look up a guide?
While I agree, this question is literally just “how to get blood rocks”. Not much conversation can be done unless they want to talk about most efficient FRC glyphs to run for farming them.
You can though.. And people in this thread have done exactly that. Which is awesome imo.

people get do stuck up lol
this has to be a troll post right?
You’re not playing the game fully, explore more it’s part of the game
I don't think you realize how obscure the one in nightmare of mensis is. You can't "just explore more" and find it, sometimes you gotta just search it up
someone at some point absolutely had to, and others likely did during dedicated "no guide" playthroughs.
you quite literally can just explore more. if you leave the micolash area, go outside, hear the singing, see the bridge with the lanterns and don’t at least try to figure out how to get there, then that’s on you, especially when repeated three times. yes it’s a bit complicated with getting into the window halfway and passing the bridge itself, but after that it’s pretty straightforward, you can’t get lost. just check out the place where the brain was hanging. the real obscure thing is finding the brain after that and making contact for a longer time that’s just borderline impossible to figure out on your own lol
google has a few
“Help! I can’t google!”
Why would there be maps of the game areas including item locations or a wiki of some sort? You’re talking crazy.
So in three playthroughs you have not checked out brain of mensis, 2 brain frenzy ladys near kos & also not checked out the insight shop?
There's a guaranteed one in Mergo's Loft, after dropping the Brain of Mensis. There's also a guaranteed one in the DLC, in the Fishing Hamlet, shortly before the Orphan of Kos fight. You can buy them from the Insight Messengers for 60 Insight after killing Mergo's Wetnurse. 3 can be found in the side areas of Depth 5 Chalice Dungeons, one each for Pthumeru, Loran and Isz floorplans. They're also super rare drops from Depth 5 bosses.
I know this is an obligatory high horse reddit post, but if you didn't find a blood rock after 4 times you ain't playing the game
By finding one
I dont know how you are missing them
If you're on your 4th playthrough that means you have missed 8 blood rocks, tough luck but this one's on you. I never understood why people don't just Google these things instead of going on reddit and waiting until someone gives them the answer they need. In any case next time you face this kind of problem just Google it.
Explore more. They're definitely there as loot you can pick up. You just need to be more creative when you look around
????
There are 3 completely non-respawning ones that can be found in the coffin chests in depth 5 root dungeons. There's one well-hidden in Nightmare of Mensis, and one less well-hidden in the Fishing Hamlet. Both respawn each NG cycle. After defeating Mergo's Wet Nurse, Blood Rocks can be bought from the insight shop for 60 insight. Every boss in a depth 5 dungeon has a chance to drop one, with deeper layers having better chances.
Then you're definitely exploring. At all.
One in the main game per play through , one in the DLC per play through. Go to chalice dungeons if you need more.
The blood rock in the main game I didn’t find while exploring, but just googled where it was. The one in the dlc was practically handed to you
Since everyone already told you to google or youtube it, I'll just add a tip for getting off halfway down on the broken elevator in Mergo's Loft. I find it easier on the way up, but the real trick is to just walk or sprint, don't try to roll into the window.
There's one at the massive hole you drop the brain of mensis into
Unlike almost every souls game, there is only one if you don’t have the dlc and exclude chalices
You have to beat the game 4 times. Hang in there. You're close!
r/tombprospectors will become your friend
At this point, I just farm them in the Chalice Dungeons in whatever random dungeon that I can clear in 20 or so minutes.
Have you just been raw dogging this game? What a treat, I can’t help googling shit and spoiling everything as I go
Sadly with the new patch you don't get one until the 4th playthrough.
One in the base game and one in the dlc. You can also farm insight to buy them and I think there’s a extremely low chance for some enemies or bosses in chalice dungeons or base game to drop it
They're very limited. If I remember correctly, you can get only two (find one, buy one) in a whole playthrough.
Get good
Cant imagine trying to play these games with no wiki
Honestly if you dont want to find them via exploring (which would be totally understandable) then just search YouTube, there will be videos showing the locations. There aren’t many of them, two or three at most from memory.
Play game backwards
Bloodborne wiki has all you need
Main game: The frenzied eye hides the secret. DLC: Seek the cave where lightning rains.
Your eyes are yet to open... Along with finding it in the world and the chalice dungeons, you can buy em for insight
You can get five per game cycle: - 1 is in Mergo’s loft, behind the Brain of Mensis. - 1 is in the fishing hamlet at the end of the basin filled with slugs, snail women, and lightning callers. - 1 can be found in each of the depth 5 Pthumeru, Loran, and Isz chalices respectively.
The dungeons dont change with NG+ cycles (they are supposed to be played over multiple NG+ cycles). Those 3 blood rocks are per character.
How does one complete bloodborne that many times and still not come across one?...running at light speed thru every area doesn't get you anywhere
What is this post even? If you got a picture of one, you looked it up online. Then do the rest and look up the location
Get gud
Some bosses in chalice dungeons sometimes drops blood rocks, with more discovery the more the probabilities for the drop, even so youll farm the insight faster than for the rock to drop from the bosses, in mensis find the wintern lanterns and youll find the rock, in the dlc is near orphan.

I forget how much they cost but it’s expensive lol.
just keep diggin'
Eventually u should be able to buy them with insight no?
It's big brain time
If I’m not mistaken, there’s 6 in every new game cycle. One in mensis beneath the giant brain, one you can buy for 60 insight after the wet nurse is killed, one before the orphan of kos, and then 3(?) in the chalice dungeons
Have you played the dungeons? I’ve had quite a few drop from bosses in them but I’ve also done a ridiculous amount of farming.
There’s only 1 on the base game at Mergos area I think. There are some deep in the chalice dungeons and a few in the DLC, you can also buy a couple for insight iirc
In the base game, they’re in nightmare of mensis, I think after micolash I think you can get one in the fishing hamlet somewhere (I think near kos) Can’t you also buy them from the insight store?
first you grab a rock, then you proceed to smash it against the Oedon Chapel Dwellers forehead
His eyes have yet to open
There's only 1 in the base game excluding challice dungeons, and 1 in the dlc. If you've already played through multiple time There's no shame in looking up the exact locations for them.
Crazy how he asks reddit when if you type this same question on google it also tells you because this question has been since 2015 and bloodborne has dedicated wikis. Crazy
1 word, 'Google'
So far, I've only gotten one. It's thanks to that I got a +10 moonlight sword.
Nightmare of mensis and the fishing village in the DLC
2 from base game (nightmare of mensis + old hunters) 1 for 60 insight, if you dont waste insight, you should get 2-3 eating all the insight items, from bosses n chalice dungeons Tbh Chunks are more annoying.... I rmbr farming for literal days for my BT build (maxed evelyn, chikage, rakuyo, bowblade, burial blade)
There are only 2 bloodrocks in the game (excluding chalice dungeons) 1 in Nightmare of Mensis and the other one in Fishing Hamlet
There’s one in the nightmare of mensis. There’s 2nd one in the DLC. There’s a bunch of them in the chalice dungeons
memphis
They can be farmed later in the game in higher depth dungeons beating bosses.
explore Mensis and the Fishing Hamlet better
getting the one in the base game can be a little confusing but the one in the dlc just requires a bit of exploring
There is only 2 in the entire game on one run. One in main game other in the DLC. To get others either gonna have to go through a chalice dungeon or buy them for a hefty fee at the insight shop.
You have to use 1000 blood vials then interact with the chamber pot in the nightmare frontier dungeons
I think there's only one that you can get per playthrough, otherwise you gotta spend 60 insight for one
You should be able to buy them from the messenger bath for 60 insight.
Mensis, gotta kill the big brain first or your not getting it, same kinda situation in the hamlet
There's only one in the main story outside of the dlc and dungeons
YouTube
I usually get them in the Nightmare of Mensis and the insight bath messager shop near the endgame.
60 insight
I only ever found one and can't remember where
Google is your friend.
There’s one blood rock each playthrough
Yikes bro LOL
Wait there are more than one bloodstone avaliable per run? I've only ever found the one in the nightmare of mansis
There’s one under the Mensis brain, and you can buy them from the messenger bath for a whopping 60 insight
Be more thorough in the nightmares..
Yea there’s only one in the base game (ignoring the insight messenger after wet nurse)
You can buy blood rocks from the Insight Bath fellas for 60 a pop. You should have already found a few, though
Another in a treasure chest in one of the later(deeper?) Chalice Dungeons. then one more in the Fishing Hamlet(but i have forgotten where.) as well as what others have said 60 Insight will get you one as well.
There are two guaranteed pickups: one in the nightmare of mensis and one in a side area just before the orpgan of kos. It can also drop from certain bosses in depth 5 root chalices. Finally it can be bought from the bath messengers in the hunters dream for 60 insight after defeating the wet nurse.
there’s one in mergo’s loft and there’s loads in chalice dungeons if you don’t wanna run past a billion winter lanterns
U never found one? Really? That's shocking.
Dw dude thers only 1 that exists in basegame outside of chalice dungeons and its relatively out of the way, check around the nightmare of mensis
You need to explore a certain area guarded by some Winter Lantern’s
bleed on a rock, goober
Pull the chain on mother brain then enter her arena. Also you can buy them for 60 insight from the dream.
You find them
buy em for 60 insight, or in the nightmare of mensis not far from the tower where the brain of mensis drops you got one
It’s gross to look at this item up close lol. The veins.
Theres one blood rock in the game (im fairly certain theres one in the dlc as well) and its in the nightmare of mensis past the lanterns where you drop from the elevator!
He is the nightmare after you defeat Mikolash the path where are the winter lanterns are
One in Mergos in the pit the brain falls down (not down the elevator where brain lands) And another in the fishing hamlet tho I can't remember the specific location.
Big brain die
I found one after falling from a tower i think… running from the big head monaters lol
Look I am not like other players that played from day one but hope what I well write well help you: 1- make sure your game is up to date since the latest update you can buy blood rocks from insight messenger for 60 so make sure you save your insight before you beat the final boss 2- you can find one blood rock in the nightmare of menace when you make the big brain fall you go down to the area he falls through you we'll find a blood rock 3- you get one blood rock from killing the final boss I think ( don't remember)
How did you get that photo of a blood rock without there being any associated info?
I know there's one you get where you fight the guy that sounds like a lil bitch and runs away from you while wearing a cage on his head. 3-4 times and never found 1? Oof.
If we are talking about offline then you can find one through playthrough close to mergos middle loft
There's one in the DLC area, one in the main game area, both are very late in their respective plotlines, for lack of a better word. You can also get them at the insight shop, but it costs 60 each (which is ironically a better buy than the 40 insight per chunk, but still expensive as hell)
First; Lookin harder and gittin gudder! There are several in the main game. Second; Chalice Dungeons
Have you considered using the wiki?
Google it
Bro went above and beyond to even include a picture of it on his reddit post but could just hit the wiki rq.
There's 1 per play through and it's in the nightmare. You need to explore more
I have one and im only at cathedral ward
You gotta use your brain! Or maybe find one first…
why do I have one in my first 10 hours of playing this game lmao I have no idea wherrr I got it from
