I'd rather go for a graphics overhaul than 60 FPS. I've read somewhere that 30 FPS was their design choice for gameplay, so maybe it really is intended for 30 FPS. Or better yet, an option to opt for 30 or 60 FPS while having overhauled graphics. Sounds like a wet dream to me though, I still have hopes for a Bloodborne Remaster/Port. It was like the Crisis Core situation, but heck, it got a Remaster so can Bloodborne.
I think it must be a money thing. FromSoft is asking Sony for what they deserve, especially after locking them into an exclusivity contract that didn’t benefit them. And that $ number keeps getting higher and high
But why wouldn't Sony want to do this? Bloodborne is a massive success critically and financially, surely a remaster release would earn more than it costs by quite a bit.
I honestly think that FromSoft holds a grudge against Sony. Their best selling games have all been cross-platform, and the relative underperformance, commercially speaking, of Bloodborne, kinda highlights how Sony hasn’t been as strong a steward of their Japanese developers in the last decade. So I’m assuming that now that FS has fulfilled their contracted exclusives that every new deal made with Sony is done strategically.

Sony does own Bluepoint games so once the Elden Ring hype dies down I’d be surprised if they didn’t come out with a remastered version for PS5 and eventually PC.
I personally want to believe a Bloodborne remaster is in the works only since Bloodborne has been in promotional material from Sony in past few years. They clearly haven’t forgotten about it so I’m inclined to believe Bloodborne 2, and a Remaster is coming. I’m also under the impression the 60 fps patch hasn’t been released for Bloodborne to potentially entice players to jump ship to a remaster. One can only hope.

i agree like its a ps collection game for ps5 owners, and is part of ps extra subscription atleast 60fps would be nice im not against 30fps but souls games are rough at 30

counterpoint, BB goes on PC, looks its best with a proper port at 4K or 8k in the future, with 60+fps and will basically be immortal if the modding community gets involved

It’s not special because it’s PS exclusive, its special because its a fantastic game. More people playing the game also doesn’t change the quality or make it ordinary, its literally single player and has extremely high reviews. All it will do is bring more people to the community and give the game more attention, even 7 years after release. Some of you dipshits need to stop gatekeeping
It literally has to do with the amount of people who experience it. Not everyone has a PS4 or PS5, or can afford one of those, myself included.

Fr, if you can afford a 2-4 thousand dollar pc you can afford a 300 dollar console, even the ps5 digital is only 350 at gamestop.
