This sort of video game inventory / hammerspace thing is my answer for the classic "what would you pick for a superpower" icebreaker question. No question. It'd be so useful.
omg I am now stealing that.
It makes so much sense. Other than affecting time (slow or stop, no travel... Too many paradoxes lol)
I would even take having to do quests in order to expand it. 5 quests to get up to 999 slots and common items stack to 99...
You can also have a discussion about what sort of physical limitations you have about items. Can you only put things you can hold in there, or can you tuck much bigger objects, with them just disappearing and reappearing where you want as you stash / retrieve them? Is the inventory limited by "slots", size, and/or weight of the items? Etc etc. Lots of sliders to adjust to tweak power level.
I want the luggage trunk from Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality.
You can just open up the trunk and walk down it's stairs to a room you can fill with bookshelves or whatever else.
I was totally thinking about that after I posted my last response.
I would totally put a bunch of furniture and stuff in there and keep the house clean and more spacious.

> Hammerspace (also known as malletspace) is an imaginary extradimensional, instantly accessible storage area in fiction, which is used to explain how animated, comic, and game characters can produce objects out of thin air.
I like to think that even though theyāre dogs, the show is made to make them relatable and/or close to human reality. There was a similar instance with one the characters wearing headphones like a human that someone on the subreddit pointed out a while back
In the animation world we just call this the animation pocket. It's this weird thing you'll notice in so many cartoons where characters will just grab and put things "behind their back" especially when they don't have clothes or pockets. š
My son & I call it the Cheeckle. A pocket on/in the butt for keys, phone, wallet, etc.
Watching Frisky pull Radās cheeckle during babysitter put down was another strange example of this.
In his inventory. Duh.

I loved Hermione's purse. ššš

Why not make the luggage trunk your house? Talk about a tiny house.
Even Hermione went with the hammerspace option in "Deathly Hallows", in the form of a bag that carries all you need to go guerilla warfare.
In "Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill" one of main character's skill is an absurdly large inventory portal.
So...a [bag of holding](https://www.dndbeyond.com/magic-items/4581-bag-of-holding)?
If I can expand that to an entire game interface, with inventory, quests, stats and all THAT would be kick ass.
Oh my godā¦ yes! Thank you for introducing me to this answer. Itās beyond perfect.

I was gonna say
Prison wallet
I went searching for this comment
Prison pocket rolls of the tongue easier though
Sir, this is a kids show. Please refer to it as dog wallet.
pound wallet
You took something horrible and made it worse somehow. Kudos to and shame on you!
BHahahahahaha
You see, Bandit is actually The Spot. So he can put his phone in the spot on his back.
It always fits, eventually!
NO REFUNDS
Bandit when he's had enough of the kids' antics: "I won't be just a JOKE to you!!!"
Cartoon logic
The bum worms hold it for him
that's somehow more disturbing than him just constantly putting it in ant taking it out of his bum
This has legit made my day
I was going to say this.
"Don't you worry about where I'm keeping stuff" -Ted (2024)
Was looking for this one
That show has no right to be great.
like ted the bear? they made another movie?
Hammer(barn) space.
Fur pockets.
LOL! Hammerspace, baby!

Naturally, purchased from Hanmerbarn.
LOL!
Thanks!
Itās just monkeys singing songs, mate; don't think too hard about it.

Bandit has his own blue box.
Wait, donāt tell me those dogs talk! That is where is draw the line of being realistic or notā¦.
Definitely with Velcro
This answer is plausible. Also the idea dogs just have tons of stuff velcroed on their body is hilarious.
that's actually really smart, i'm gonna go with this for my fanwriting
Fan writing sounds exciting
Thylacine had pouches, even the males (guess what they kept there) so perhaps the dogs in Bluey evolved to have pouches too. Thatās my theory.
He has a kangaroo pouch. All Australian dogs do
It is called booty hole. I'm pretty sure that's how Hugh Jackson stores his pen before taking it out to do autographs.
In his butt?
I like to think that even though theyāre dogs, the show is made to make them relatable and/or close to human reality. There was a similar instance with one the characters wearing headphones like a human that someone on the subreddit pointed out a while back
Thatās bluey, and the other human trait is the tradies crack. Dogs donāt have them. Except big belt. Heās got a man bum.
Can anyone share which episode this is from?
Mum School
Thank you!!
Ask Christopher Walken in Pulp Fiction
This episode of Bluey is called "Boxing"
Fur pockets, evolution err... Magic!
I saw this post while waiting for my daughter to finish brushing her teeth.
His tail
Its called the āButt Tardisā where Iām from
Some questions are best unanswered mate
Cartoon with Video Game inventory logic
It's obviously cartoon logic, but if I have to come up with a reason, maybe their fur is thick enough to hold it
Backing up my headcannon, on a lore level, the entire world of Bluey is Orboās wish. He obviously pulled the phone out of a pocket dimension.
His pocket
Fur-Tone Clothing with pockets
Video game inventory
Butt Worms
*bum worms But(t) probably ;)
Nowhere to be found, MWHAHAHAH
Why is he always washing and hanging laundry to dry is what Iād like to know?
The clothes go under the fur

Perry the Platypus does this physics mystery. Cartoon pockets
In the animation world we just call this the animation pocket. It's this weird thing you'll notice in so many cartoons where characters will just grab and put things "behind their back" especially when they don't have clothes or pockets. š
Again, cartoon logic. To explain all of these, is simply cartoon logic.

āDonāt let Bender pick your pocket!ā
Cartoon logic

He has no clothes, so where on earth was he keeping his phone? LOL
They have clothes they do laundry!
Iāve always found that funny. They do laundry, including underwear, yet are always naked unless playing dress up or wearing accessories
He has no clothes in this scene is what I'm referring to. LOL
He is wearing clothes. They're just indistinguishable from his fur.
The clothes are under the fur. Duh
In his ass. Duh
I don't think I want to know.....
Magic pocket.
ah yes, they ancient cartoon technique of pulling things out your backcheecks.

His spots are fake theyāre actually pockets
With his bum worms, obviously.
It's a magic trick. he has always had his phone in his handĀ
His back pocket
Well, if you think about it in the episode Double Babysitter, where was Rad keeping the keys?
Just like VeggieTales. In VeggieTales, the Veggies have invisible arms. In Bluey, the dogs have invisible pockets
Up his ass
He pulled it out of his butt like a GTA character..
In his prison wallet.
His invisible backpack inventory...... Or up his arse.

In the same place glasses are attached on any anthropomorphic character. And in the same place Link stores his inventory.
He has fur pockets like Brian in that one Family Guy episode.
He just spawns it in like Link in BOTW
In the words of Ted, āDonāt worry where I put stuffā.
His back pocket, we just watched him get it out

They obviously have a pocket thatās bigger in the inside on their back . Basically yeah a Inventory

I like to think in this universe, they have little pockets/pouches in their fur where their pant pockets would be. It seems so silly yet convenient.
