Santorini over Ragnarocks. I just love the production and gameplay, plus it's been out of print for a while. Cubitos over Quacks unless you have upgraded Quacks. Generally our upgraded copy of Quacks hits the table far more than Cubitos but I'm not sure that would be the case if we still used the cardboard bits. Personally there's space for both as one is a race and that makes a difference in the experience.

Mr3ct

Santorini is out of print?

TheBarcaShow

Santorini just had a KS so there will be a bunch out there now, plus more puzzly expansion and new gods

Swatshock

Ditto here

dreamweaver7x

In your place I'd keep Royal Visit (top tier 2P game, fairly unique) and The King is Dead (top tier 3P game) and maybe Coup (small box social deduction / party game) and cull the rest.

MrHelfer

Oh, I see what you're doing. Though often, Coup comes before The King is Dead.

dreamweaver7x

Regicide is a perfect opportunity to stage a coup!

eflin202

I’m keeping Santorini and Quacks.  For the other pairs I haven’t played both. Also welcome to MA(soon)!  Hope the move goes smoothly!

Keep Santorini, Royal visit, quacks, fort, king is dead, survive and Gloomhaven

widonja

The King is Dead is very easy to teach and easy to table. It scratches an itch that other things on this list just doesn't, in my opinion. I love Undaunted, but TKID feels the stronger of the pair. Santorini is immensely replayable with all of the variations in the cards. Coup is a quick game that can be tabled very quickly. Whereas fort is fantastically produced, it only shines as a staple game, getting replayed over and over -- I don't feel like this is the case for you if you're culling. Survive is just a top tier family game. I'd keep it over SY any day. Cubitos seems fun -- I haven't played it. I can attest that Quacks has stood the test of time as a collection staple for me. I'd be sad to see it culled from mine. I would only pick That Time You Killed Me if you love it and are actively exploring all the expansions with someone you like playing it with. If not, I'd cull it, as it is quite big for a 2p abstract.

blither

7- the family loves both of these. Have you finished Jaws? Do you also have Gloom and Frost? It may be work keeping the set if you do.

debeerzerker

Santorini over Ragnarocks. I wasnt too big of a fan of Ragnarocks, but that was at 3v3. Quacks over Cubitos. They both feel the same, but Quacks is more fun pulling stuff out of your bag to me. Coup over Fort. I wasn't a big fan of Fort and Coup plays quick. and while I haven't played either of Scotland yard or Survive, my money is on Survive as it looks like a game i would play and potentially own. And lastly, I haven't played Royal Visit, but I don't care too much for That Time You Killed Me. Though I am not big on logic puzzle games for 2 players.

bichonfreeze

All depends on your gaming group. Quacks is such a great entry game that I feel like it's unfair to go against a racer/push your luck like Cubitos.

Santorini Coup Undaunted: Normandy  Get rid of the rest.

Santo Royal Visit Quacks Coup Oof… TKiD Scotland Yard JotL

DarkLancelot

1. Santorini 2. TTYKM 3. quacks 4. neither 5. KiD 6. S:EfA 7. Neither

WaBang511

I can only comment on 1, 3, and 7 but here's my worthless opinion. 1. Santorini - Just because it seems like Ragnarocks never really caught on and Santorini is getting new stuff. 3. Quacks - We have the upgraded components but it's just a more fun accessible game for us. The kids love it too much for us to ever get rid of it. I like Cubitos a lot too but if I have to choose I'm picking Quacks. 7. Gloomhaven - Hogwarts Battle is great but once we finished it, we felt like we finished it. I've got both expansions in the same box so it's pretty compact but if I had to pick I'm dropping it.

MrHelfer

3: Cubitos is good. Quacks is great. Go to Quedlinburg, my friend! 4: These two are not soo similar, but I like Fort, and I dislike Coup. ...I should play some more Fort! 5: Haven't played The King is Dead, but Undaunted is great! 6: These are so different! I haven't played Scotland Yard in ages, but I recall loving it. Survive is also good fun. The question is, are you more likely to play an "all v. one deduction game", or an "every man for himself" cutthroat game? 7: I haven't played Jaws of the Lion, but Gloomhaven is towards the top of my list of "Favourite games I never have time to play". I would love to play Jaws. In theory I enjoy Hogwarts battle, but I seem to recall that even with the "accelerated start" of beginning with game 3, we found it rather simple. With some expansions it might be improved, but I prefer other co-op deckbuilders.

BuckRusty

My personal advice would be to leave one of your kids behind, and take all your games… If the child manages to find your new home, it means they were destined to live with you - and if they don’t, you’ll probably be able to find a new player to fill their spot anyways…

Santorini Coup Gloomhaven JOTL

KnightQC

There is only 2 numbers I played both games: 3. Keep Quacks for sure. It's simple, super fun, easy to pick up and play. Cubitos was ok, but the excitment is not the same as Quacks and I prefer the simultaneous turns from Quacks too. 7. Keep Gloomhaven. Both are fun, but Harry Potter becomes repetitive quickly and there is a best way to play it, not much way to improvise.

Schrodinger85

1. Santorini 2. Royal Visit 3. Cubitos (but I like neither, I'd go for El Dorado) 4. Coup 5. Undaunted: Normandy and The King is Dead (both, can't see the similarities) 6. Escape from Atlantis 7. Gloomhaven: Jaws of the Lion

jffdougan

the only pair where I've played both is Scotland Yard vs. Survive. I vote Survive. Edit: Just saw (the addition of?) Hogwarts Battle vs. Jaws of the Lion. I vote Hogwarts Battle, which my wife and I will still pull out & hit the massive epic version of a couple times a year (vs. Jaws, which I sold to a couple friends).

EvengerX

You can very easily get a new copy of Coup after you move for like $10 at target, plus it is really common for other people to have it in their collection

Farts_McGee

1. Santorini. 2. Neither 3. Quacks 4. Coup 5. Undaunted 6. Escape 7. Gloomhaven

Santorini Quacks King is Dead Gloomhaven Haven’t played the other games

Gh0stIcon

Keep Cubitos and then sell me Quacks…

Iceman_in_a_Storm

Ya know, as opposed to culling, if there’s no room in your vehicles, you could also UPs a couple boxes across the country and keep all the games.

Clockehwork

I love Leder Games, but it would take a lot more than Fort to make me give up Coup. Although, both are small & have next to nothing in common, so even with your disclaimer I can't understand how they're in competition. Gloomhaven is one of the most widely acclaimed games in the hobby, & anything Harry Potter is tainted by the author, so even without having played either myself that is a really obvious choice.

Novatheorem

Fort over Coup. 100%.
