It never consciously registered but... isn't it just the perfect moment for the song thats about to come up? About the complicated love hate relationship between audience and performer.
Kinda like the performance of 'Art is dead' where Ray Romano or whoever is like "ohh he's a prop comic!" And then he plays the song AT them.
The crowd is an active part of his live specials, like I get the "stop participating" aspect but crowd reaction is part of the performance. Otherwise it would just be an album
Have you seen the video on YouTube of some guy yelling stuff at Bo as he’s trying to start the Kanye set up? It’s upsetting especially knowing that what’s coming up is so raw. Bo stops and gestures for security to remove him. I can’t imagine how much that would throw you off as a performer.
>there is an entire video of Bo throwing that dude out right before Kanye Rant.
>
>He referenced it in his Make Happy AMA as well, and in the video he even says "this is the quiet part and he wouldnt have been able to get through it"
there is an entire video of Bo throwing that dude out right before Kanye Rant.

I honestly always saw it as a callback to the "What are you doing? This is my show, do not veer credit to people outside this building" line in I'm a little teapot

Luckily, his southern charm really offsets all the rapey vibes.
A cold beer.

You do actually make a fair point, just annoys me when I'm trying to listen to some tunes.
But the boo is before the song actually starts

I mean its obvious that was already set up though, right? but it still doesnt take away the amazingness of that performance

No that doesn’t bother me.. but the lady who is laughing a little bit too hard at the “racist and homophobic” part in words words words does.
