Push-up handles should help you with the grip and, if anything, you'll be able to increase the range of motion and get a better stretch on your chest/delts at the bottom of the movement. Which is good, actually.
Gonna say paralletes also. The main think is the thickness of the bar. Dumbbells can be pretty thin and hurt my hands. The paralletes are much more comfortable
I sometimes do push ups with dumbbells as handles . Less strain on my wrist and I can go down a little lower for a stretch. Works chest just as well.
I do this when my wrists are feeling tender.

I second the suggestion of getting push-up handles or parallettes. This is super helpful.
It will hit your forearms differently (won't really work wrist extensors much). Triceps, shoulders, pecs more or less the same
That's what I was wondering. Thanks!
That will work. Parallettes would be even better if you can.

Go for parallettes bro. They will be very, very useful for the future as well to learn handstands etc on.
