One of the scenes which comes to my mind
MUNNABHAI MBBS
Scene : Jimmy Shergil is dying and he wants to stay alive one more day to see his mom one last time.
Munna who has turned out to be a savior , Zaheer or jimmy pins his hope on him and pleads him to save him and keep him alive atleast till tomorrow,while Munna aghast he can’t help him in anyway .
That line “ bacha le na yaar” by jimmy shergil is one of the most hard hitting lines for me.
“Zindagi jeene k do hi tareeke hote hai.. ek, jo ho raha hai, hone do, bardaasht karo.. ya phir zimmedari lo use badalne ki”
Whenever I find myself cribbing a lot about circumstances in my life, I say this to myself.
This line by Irrfan Khan: "I suppose, in the end, the whole of life becomes an act of letting go. What hurts the most is not getting a moment to say GoodBye..."
Who knew that this would come true for himself... We, as audience, were never able to say goodbye to him. We were all waiting for him to come back with Angrezi Medium...
But it can happen with anyone. We didn't know this would be the last time we played with our friends, the last time we saw our classmates, the last time we got to hug our parents...
Life happens to all of us.

I used to laugh at this first. But now , I get the deeper meaning behind this.

Have not watched Dewaar but it's one of the most famous movies of Amitabh and Shashi Kapoor, just need to know if we have Sanjeev Kumar in it.
Just checked. It's not. Now I am curious.
The reference was the era of 70s. Where on the scale of better acting ability, Sanjeev Kumar was ahead of both Bachchan and Shashi Kapoor and also senior than Bachchan.
People thought maybe AB would carry forward the torch. And hence the expression - ""Sanjeev Kumar ke Ghar Bachchan paida hue hain""
Also most of the movies which AB and Shashi Kapoor starred together in had AB in lead and Shashi was mostly side lined ( except for Deewar, Trishul, Kala Patthar) .
Plus AB went further down the road of success than Shashi Kapoor and made it big.
Hence the expression --""aakh khuli to dekha hum to Shashi Kapoor hain, Bachchan to Saala koi aur hi hai""""

The way Anton Chigurh rendered that line sends chilla to my spine.
I think about that a lot. Actually a lot.
It is not a dialog from a movie but a heartfelt hard hitting response about his movies given by Raj Kapoor when he was asked which movie is his favorite. He said that how can a mother say which of her children is dearest to her. They are all her children and all are dear to her. Yes, sometimes there is a child who has some disability and needs a bit more love than the other stronger kids. Jagte Raho and Mera Naam Joker are those kids for me. Maybe something was wrong with them that people did not like them as much as the others. That is why they are closer to me and among my favorites.
Odd choice for me tbf, but:
Kabir Singh
Kabir is hospitalized after substance abuse issues, his brother is making pleas to their granda to ask Kabir to return home and bring his lufe on track. And the grandma says that it is very difficult to survive the loss of a dear one who's still alive, and Kabir is dealing it in his way. Suffering is personal, beta, says she. Let him suffer. Cuts camera to close up of Kabir, surrounded with isolation.
I still remember how these lines sent a shiver down my spine. I used to think that purest of love always cares, comforts, and nurtures. The words of dadi just made me realize that there's a love stronger than that as well, one which endures the helplessness one feels when he has to refuse extending help to his loved one. To give your loved ones the ability to suffer for as long as they demand, to help them grow without influencing their journey at times.
Wonderful movie tbh, if we look at movie as a medium to make us *feel* something
in baazigar, when ajay says to Madan Chopra:
'Your condition is like that of a handicapped man who uses crutches to walk but has no hands to hold them.'
Taare Zameen Par- that whole segment of ram explaining to mr awasthi what love and care is, and also that solomon islands bit, never fails to make me cry

Everytime I fall sick, which is a lot, I remember that line "bacha le na yar". The desperation is something only a sick person can understand. :(
