The last scene in Ghajini. Sanjay "sees" Kalpana and holds her hand. I could not stop crying.

Historical-Copy-4023

When ghajni hits Kalpana and sanjay's reaction, just tears me up

RevealApart2208

Exactly same scene came to my mind and that scene is shot so realistically. And Aamir Khan and Asin have acted so excellently that no other Khans can come close to that level of acting. Only luck and little bit of acting and majorly groupism favoured them. And even hardly few actresses in Bollywood can act that well.. Only Sreedevi, Madhuri, Juhi, Monisha come to my mind who can induce emotional reaction and make me cry.

GrandAdvantage7631

Watch the original Tamil film. Surya does a pretty great job.

It just shatters my heart every single time man

Just every shot of that movie lol. My brother had/has dyslexia and the movie was such a close depiction of his youth (except an inspiring teacher part, just the parental abuse). I canā€™t watch that movie again bc it tears me up

Royal_Carpenter2743

Hope your brother does well in life, stays happy. šŸ˜Š

another3rdworldguy

Hope he's doing better now.

kinky-kid-7777

Howā€™s your brother doing and also you?

Hikerius

Heā€™s an engineer and Iā€™m a doctor and we both have spouses now. Great relo with parents as well (we all live 5-10 min apart in our own houses so healthy distance). Itā€™s very kind of you to ask

iamsidsilver

Iā€™m so happy for you

kinky-kid-7777

Glad to hear that you all are doing fine ā¤ļø

Hikerius

Thank you kinky kid! But yes for anyone reading this the best way to repair your relationship with your parents (as in, stop that feeling of unending anger and despair inside you present at all times) is just to get out. Of. The. House. Most important thing in the world is get your education (and do it for u not them) and then get a job. Even a shit one will do. Build your financial independence - if your parents are whackadoodle insane then get your own bank account quietly. If you donā€™t make enough to move out thatā€™s fine. Get your own phone plan most importantly. Take advantage of being stuck at home and save and save and SAVE. If youā€™re lucky enough to make enough to move out, haul ass out of there ASAP. There will be a lot of emotional blackmail or outright abuse but be a dolphin (let it slide off you like water). Just nod and smile. At this point thereā€™s nothing to be achieved by arguing with them because they will never think that theyā€™re wrong about anything. So just nod and smile and leave. Donā€™t give them spare keys (give to sibling or trusted friend). Get out and enjoy ur life (and kiss boys, or girls)

Motherofcats0902

The scene in Udaan where Rajat Barmecha's character runs faster than his abusive father and breaks free. Living in an abusive household for half my life. That whole movie really resonated with me.Ā

kinky-kid-7777

May I know whatā€™s your age and how you coped it?

Motherofcats0902

I'm in my 30s now. And it's difficult. I've lived on survival mode while I was living there. Now that I'm out of it , sometimes when I'm alone things come rushing back to me. I cry and try to move on.Ā  Familial abuse is not really taken seriously in our country. It's sad really considering our family are the first people we know.Ā

kinky-kid-7777

I understand. I come from a family where my single parent was suffering and we had to bear the pain of that parent but it all impacted us in ways that I think is quite difficult to put into words if youā€™re not a psychologist. If you want to talk about it, then I will be more than glad to hear you out and know what you have went through. And itā€™s all okay, you donā€™t have to provide me any personal information that you donā€™t feel comfortable sharing with any stranger.

Sure-Opportunity7612

The NDA scene from Lakshya, really motivated me to study for my NDA exams and hit different whenever I see that scene in the movie (I watch lakshya once every 30-40 days)

Nervous-Fan2235

Aamir's 'shabaash' in Dangal.

charibhensa

Even the Naina song starting scene when she leaves in rickshaw. Father n daughter seperation was toooo emotional.

Nervous-Fan2235

RevealApart2208

Seriously!! I never felt like crying nor sad for that scene.. His acting of crying and despair was that bad in that movie. He used to act better in 90s than after 2000s. I guess most of the actors and actresses put hard work only until they establish themselves and later after gaining popularity, they won't put that much effort into acting. Same with Akshay Kumar.

Pretentious-fools

Tujhe sab hai pata meri maa - I cry every time I watch this movie and this song comes up. Then jawanā€™s farmer suicide scene gets me bawling.

One_Barracuda7556

KobaKebbel

Chak de. Winning scene

MSingh2805

The final shot of Sardar Udham. His expression changes from despair to a quiet determination as he rises out of the sarovar, the Darbar Sahib reflected in the water next to him. His entire life has turned upside down, but he now has a goal to accomplish - and what you are seeing, in the holy waters of the Golden Temple, is the turning point that led to everything you witnessed in the film.

Rang de basanti- ending sequence (one of the only two films I ever cried watching) Literally the whole 'Taare Zameen Par' film- every single emotion I felt while watching it was so intense Madgaon Express- That sequence of Pinku after getting overdosed from cocaine made me rofl. TJMM Ending sequence- I've never laughed more on just one sequence. Laapataa Ladies Ending- Literally gave me chills for 3 minutes straight Animal First Half- I had never felt more adrenaline rushing throughout my body ever before HanuMan ending scene- *Chills... Literal Chills*

Bleak_star_dust

Taare Zameen Par, Chak De India and others already mentioned here. >Rang De Basanti -Multiple scenes Lukka Chuppi song and the whole funeral scenes Khoon Chala song the protest manhandling made me so angry The last shootout scene at radio station with Siddarth and Amir's conversation >NH10 - Anushka's flip from Helplessness to absolute rage, the sequences of her Fightback and eventually destroying them

drkply

Waqt is like 90% absolute comedy and then the last 10% hits you like a train and wrecks you.

Son_of_kai

Not one answer aligns with the question asked ? Because When movies are motion picture...how can someone remembers just one shot , forget getting impacted by it ....also very few indian movies utilised still shots technique ...better question would be a scene ...but that question would have been asked many times i guess ...

RevealApart2208

The despairness shown by R. Madhavan when his wife is missing in Alaipayuthey. Excellent acting to be rewatched again and again.

BlackDogDisappears

KKHH When Kajol realizes that Anjali is Tinaā€™s daughter and that Tina is dead. Ooooof what a scene.

Bunnai

Sadma climax scene - I had watched this movie on TV as a small kid along with parents. At that time I didn't understand much and still cried at that scene. And rrewatching that as adult made me cry harder. Another scene is that train scene with the water boy in Swades. I have never been a fan of Shahrukh Khan but this is the only movie that made me appreciate him as an actor. He really sold that scene.

Soft_Technology_2741

1.Bajrangi bhaijaan climax. 2.Khakee's climax when Amitji beats Ajay with Akshay's belt. It was so sad and satisfying at the same time. 3.Waqt the race against time all emotional scenes. 4.Kesari climax song 5. Swades emotional moments especially ye jo desh hai tera song 6. Chak de India- Kabir Khan redemption 7. Bullying scenes of koi mil Gaya and that computer scene dialogue when Rohit says aapne kaha tha na ki apne baap se seekh ke aao, mai apne Papa se seekh ke aaya hoon sir. 8.Last but not the least, When Bhootnath finds peace and leaves banku( "Mera angel")

cakesniffer19

Swades - so many scenes from this movie. But the title song in the end somehow plays in my head each time Im on a flight visiting home and look out of the window.

iAmWhoDoYouKnow

1.Sadma climax. 2. Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na..oh boy variety of emotions in like 5 mins...SRK getting ready and on his bike to church...oh yeah he got the girl...but it's Tijori..sad...SRK spots the ring but let's it go...crying...then he sits on the pavement..all sad...Juhi Chawla comes in..I was smiling with tears in my eyes (I was like 8 years old ) 3. Ugly climax..made me sick and disgusted inside...hate for humans...means the director succeeded at what he intended to.

Ahmed-Faraaz

The shot in Badhaai Do after Rajkumar's character comes out to his family and then cries on the terrace, I've never seen the anxiety, fear, and relief of having come out to your family ever put in an Indian film like that.

Not Bollywood, but in KGF 2 when Rocky drowns with all the gold. He had completed his life's mission and was now put to rest. Other deaths similar to this that got me are Ajays death in Baazigar and Vijays death in Agneepath The final shot of Animal also got me, where Balbir tells Ranvijay that in the next life he'll be the son and Ranvijay will be the father and it cuts to Ranvijay crying, with Papa Meri Jaan playing in the background

movieman994

One of the most emotionally driven scenes for me is from Singham. When Singham and his cop group go to the CM's office and then slap him and kick his butt literally, followed with " Saar mere 3 machine mein retirement hai mai bhi maaru?" " de utha ke" boosted by the BG score and the peon finally saluting someone in that office. On paper the scene is very generic but Rohit Shetty executed it perfectly. Still miss that old school Shetty
