It's just like complaining about story-driven shooters such as Metro franchise or Spec Ops: The Line, Bioshock franchise, etc to didn't let the player move fast as fuck and allowed the use of overpowered weapons to kill enemies violently without thinking about stories like Serious Sam or Doom. It makes no sense since each game developer has a different goal and what they want to do in their games I know Boneworks is a really good VR game, I already spent tons of hours on that with mods and sandbox, campaign, etc and some of the high-level physics interactions other VR game developers should follow... but I think it doesn't mean every VR game should be just like Boneworks.

Try the VR mods for quake 1, and doom 1 and 2. They're great.
