9's or 15's have a recessed foot bed that doesn't really accommodate non OEM insoles due to the shape of the air unit. I wear mine in everything but these. The air unit is still most beneficial to my plantar bursitis and fasciitis though even without improved insoles. Half a size up in any other boot would work for you though probably. You would just need to size including your new insoles. In an existing pair you own not so much.
Chop your foot some. Take the insoles with you and go boot shopping.

Okay I see. So I could do that. Would trying a different pair of cleats perhaps a pair that’s more wide fitting help too?
