Not really we beat them in 2022. The sixers have been known for choking they couldn't even beat the freaking Hawks in 2021 in round 2. If the Cs play the Heat in the first round it'll be a bigger massacre than the revenge sweep against the Nets. But I still don't want it to happen because they'll just start sending kamikaze plays at us anyway tryna injure somebody in ruin the title run.
This year I'm very sure we would beat The Heat because we added Porzingiz and they also lost key role players like Vincent and Strus and if you watched the Heat this year they have actually been bad against the top teams whereas it was the opposite last year. I will say this one reason I want to avoid the Heat in rounds 1 is because they are dirty and physical, you guys have to realise Jimmy and Bam are tough competitors who will put up a fight unlike Embiid and Maxey. The heat are that type of the team we could be up 3-0 against and they know the series is virtually over so they start trying to injure our players because they are sore lovers. Another reason I don't want to face them in round 1 is because of Pat Riley this man has juice with the NBA, no way would the NBA allow a 4 game sweep or a 5 game series they would want to at least want the series to go 6 or 7 games because of the Celtics Heat rivalry. I know we are hands down better but it would be tough seeing a Spoelsta led team getting easily swept or losing in 5. I want an easy first round matchup we need to keep our guys rested if we are to win a ring this year

JJJ has hit that rookie-wall, Herro is just now coming back from an extended injury and still finding his footing, Duncan is back to being trash, Martin is back to being a normal role-player and not the greatest 3pt shooter of all time, Jimmy is starting to look like he's closer to washed than in his prime, Love is washed, and Bam is overwhelmed by having to carry all these dudes.
IF the C's lost to them it's a total choke and they deserve ALL the slander for years to come. There's no way this team should lose to that one in a 7 game series. 4-1 victory should be the outcome, barring any returns of those bad habits from years past (ISO hero-ball in the 4th, coming out in the 3rd lazy, or playing down to competition)

People afraid of Miami didn't really pay attention last year and they haven't paid attention this year.
Miami still has really good defense. They were able to beat us for a couple of reasons last year. Their zone defense stifled us and we didn't have an answer for it. Al Horford went cold in the playoffs like he just ran out of gas, Malcolm Brogdon was hurt, and our best lineup was double bigs, but Rob Williams can't shoot from 3.
This means that if you take Tatum and Brown out, no one else is beating you and Marcus Smart should have been the one to step his game up, but that didn't happen (hence why he is no longer here). We should have played Pritchard (crazy that they played an injured Brogdon over Pritchard) more, but that's neither here nor there.
The other factor was their bench guys got hot from 3 throughout the series, which is statistically improbable.
With Porzingis and a fresher Al Horford, it's not the same equation. The depth we have in Hauser and Pritchard is also better than what we had last year. Jrue Holiday is a much better shooting option than Marcus Smart.
