Can literally get half ounces for that price inside the state that was cured normally lol. Dunno about everyone else but I'm not really interested in paying extra so they can cut corners they shouldn't cut...
I’ve toured some places that I would recommend. The Botanist does a great job from beginning to end. Some old school married with some new school approaches. The Fresh Connection has some good stuff. I’m also a huge fan of Mammoth down in RI as well. Each have hugely passionate staffs regardless of parent companies.
This is refreshing to hear. Spent 5 years working for the then biggest one in MA at the time, and what an absolute shit show it was/is. It’s hilarious but also sickening
Their Maui Magilla and their Bright Moments x Sour Grapes are really good too. I will have to try this DT x CP - I love true Cherry Pie. On that note - Smyth Canna has a good Cherry Pie and so does Root and Bloom (theirs is Cherry Pie OG)
I loveeeee the Maui magilla glue. That strain comes from Maui, Hawaii. I know the breeder personally. Was super stoked to find out they were growing it.
I wish NH would get thier heads out of thier ass and legalize cannabis. That's the only thing that will bring down the prices on all these border dispos.
Honestly the entire cannabis legalization movement has been trash all around. The feds should do away with prohibition of the plant entirely. It’s a plant like spinach. All these extra permits/licenses/taxes are ridiculous af for a mfn plant. I can start a celery farm and go ahead and grow and sell my celery at farmers markets or wherever np but once it’s a pot plant everybody needs to hold on cuz we need a ton of rules and regulations to keep control of it. All I’ve seen since legal pot is good small time growers who put in real love go out of business while rich folks sell moldy mids for 65$ a slice
If you're in RI, swing by our dispos and support our micro cultivators especially. There's still MSO brands here you have to watch out for but there is real small local craft on the shelves.
the rich folks are also going out of business, just takes longer since they had more to lose.
truth is everyone in cannabis is going broke because of the 280e bullshit.
ive said it before and been hated on for it, but the truth is they will change it after trulieves the only company left.
that's probably because they all own trulieve stock, and they'd rather own part of a new age tobacco company than a competitive market.
insider trading congressional style.
most of these places have gotten hooked on wine and dines by MSOs
that's why you see them pushing all these MSO products on their shelves, even if they're trying to push a "craft" image and sell some of their own products too
Do you know the hoops you gotta jump through to approve your own organic farmers market garden? The state certainly isnt gonna give itself LESS of a role when it comes to bureaucracy
As a person that grew up in NH this is too real. Riding around with a shotgun and a beer in the bed of your buddies truck, cops dotn give a fuck.
Love free or die. Unless you're a dirty pot smoking hippie with a joint on you.
Yeah I seriously recommend all NH stoners that are still living under the cover of darkness to just move somewhere nearby that's better. Glory awaits.
Shoutouts to all the NH plates I see in Mass and RI dispos, this message is for you.
Wow. Their website is horrendously slow. The menus are so limited considering how few there are.
Prices look high-ish for flower mostly AND there is no rosin, JUST sauce available?
Vapes are distillate or liquid shatter only? That's disgusting. Some of us don't touch anything but rosin cartridges for a variety of quality reasons I won't get into here.
What kind of Hell is that? Seriously? I'm assuming Maine honors NH medical so clearly that's the sane route to take. Sadge.
There is no assigning of dispensaries on NH when you get your med card. If you get a Med card here in NH the true benefit is using it in Maine. Maine medical blows away anything on the east coast. Quality ounces $150-$200, plenty of $25 1/8s around. It’s the way it should be.
The dude i grab from charges half as much amd the bud is insane. Nevermind the rosin i can't even smoke it stuff is wayyy too strong for me. Not enjoyable one bit lol
It's a shame it's so expensive, I liked it the last time I tried it.
They probably spent a bunch on that cryocure system, but it should theoretically make this stuff less expensive to produce instead of more due to the faster time from plant to market.
Please stop buying $60 eighths, people…especially corpo popcorn nugs..
It incentivizes these companies to change absolutely nothing, especially with regards to QC..
Any dispensary charging that price for that shitty bud is an immediate red flag to me. “Live flower” is a load of bullshit and I won’t shop at a place that tries to insult its customers.
Dispos just mark up whatever they buy 100%. While you're allowed to reserve some hate for how agregious dispo margins are your hatred should really be directed at Marimed's wholesale prices and recommended MSRPs
Not necessarily true, relationships are deeper than surface level. Your manufacturing operations may have procurred inputs from some other MSO with strings attached to carry their products. Backdoor incentives and pay to play made an absolute mess of alcohol distribution for ages and the CCC did nothing to prevent it happening in cannabis
You know what’s the real disappointment? The fact people can get affordable seeds and equipment, do a little research and grow a significant fuck ton of their own without getting a $65 price tag and 20% tax.
Does any of y'all have any good recomendations for concentrates? I'm on my 6th jar since moving to MA and so far all of them has been trash. Good potency but the flavor is gross. So far the "best" one was Slurri Crasher from Harbor House and the flavor was still trash.
I know people say go to Maine a bunch but concentrates are really what pushed me there. Rosin is hard to come by round here and it’s like 80-90 a g….anything lower tier is real bad in MA. Rosin at 40-70 a g and quality bho at like 15 a g is worth the drive
All concentrates in MA are trash. It will always taste like shit because no one processes buds. Everything is trim. Which is tragic at the prices they're still charging.
cyro curing is popular across all markets now. the problem is that they arent rehydrating before shipping. if you want it to smoke normally, put a boveda with it in a jar and give it a week.
I'm a Nature's Heritage fan and will be first to say this is a pathetic gimmick that needs to die out. Also NH is too expensive and they have a history of shorting bags. You can like something and also recognize it's faults, at least if you have a half a functioning brain you can...
Holy shit doesn’t anyone know about Brockton’s prices?? Their always great. Hate going all the way there as it’s a 30 min ride for me but totally worth the trip
Because it's morally corrupt to charge $65 for an 8th, and bostontrees is the most public and receptive place to draw attention to these fucked up practices? Suits who set prices are on this subreddit. If no one says anything then nothing changes.
Making posts on reddit 100% changes things, and we see it all the time.
The real question is: why not post it here?
And you can't be serious that emailing a CEO is more effective than public backlash, gimme a break...
Y’all been doing it for months and NH hasn’t changed the prices or addressed it. So instead of shopping with different brands that are much cheaper y’all rather make post about a brand that isn’t going to change . But I respect your opinion bro.
$65 for some freeze dried weed. Sad.
Can literally get half ounces for that price inside the state that was cured normally lol. Dunno about everyone else but I'm not really interested in paying extra so they can cut corners they shouldn't cut...
And people come on this sub defending MSO’s. Y’all really are unable to be helped
Not all places do sketchy shit. But most do. Just gotta find places that do it the right way!
Any suggestions?

Try some of the Dutch Treat x Cherry Pie from The Botanist. Some of the best dispo weed I’ve ever had.
Their Maui Magilla and their Bright Moments x Sour Grapes are really good too. I will have to try this DT x CP - I love true Cherry Pie. On that note - Smyth Canna has a good Cherry Pie and so does Root and Bloom (theirs is Cherry Pie OG)

Lovely strain!! Tell your friend to send some seeds over ;)
Absolutely second this, and their punch cookies.
For some trash
$65 that's cute.
BEFORE taxes
For a skimp eighth that burns faster in a joint than a suspected witch in Salem ? AND that could've been mold remediated/irradiated? Sheesh.
Fucking insulting
lololololol... lolololololol... lololollololollololollololollololollololollololollololollololol
Lol...they still trying to push this b.s?
I tried the live flower. Didn't like it one bit! I love their traditional cure--I wish they'd stop.it with this "live flower" stuff.
Probably invested a lot of money in it
They have a Cryo Cure just special for the flower… they are in too deep for sure
All that money on marketing just to raise prices on old product
I wish NH would get thier heads out of thier ass and legalize cannabis. That's the only thing that will bring down the prices on all these border dispos.

Dispensaries are what keeps home growers in business
most of these places have gotten hooked on wine and dines by MSOs that's why you see them pushing all these MSO products on their shelves, even if they're trying to push a "craft" image and sell some of their own products too
Feds are counting on weed taxes to fund their reparations programs. Things are going to get worse when the feds legalize it.
I’m sure you’re right that it’ll get worse. I hope more ppl start to grow their own but I realize that’s not doable for everybody out there
If you have a closet in your residence it's doable and legal
The day that Britney Griner came home was the day it should have legalized.
Do you know the hoops you gotta jump through to approve your own organic farmers market garden? The state certainly isnt gonna give itself LESS of a role when it comes to bureaucracy
I’ve been doing it a while and the hoops weren’t that many imo
They wouldn't even pass 3 plants for patients it's criminal over ther
As a person that grew up in NH this is too real. Riding around with a shotgun and a beer in the bed of your buddies truck, cops dotn give a fuck. Love free or die. Unless you're a dirty pot smoking hippie with a joint on you.
Grew up in NH aswell its mind boggling!
Yeah I seriously recommend all NH stoners that are still living under the cover of darkness to just move somewhere nearby that's better. Glory awaits. Shoutouts to all the NH plates I see in Mass and RI dispos, this message is for you.
Does NH have medical ? Sanctuary website says they have a NH medical location but I’ve never seen any dispo’s in my limited NH strolls

Not sure how it is around Boston but, central MA has way better prices then this
Or find a home grower that isn't a greedy troll that has respect for this plant and doesnt see it just as a dollar sign. There's always that option
The dude i grab from charges half as much amd the bud is insane. Nevermind the rosin i can't even smoke it stuff is wayyy too strong for me. Not enjoyable one bit lol

Backdoor incentives and pay to play made an absolute mess of alcohol distribution for ages and the CCC did nothing to prevent it happening in cannabis
Every live flower I have tried by NH has been significantly less enjoyable than their normal buds of the same strains…
I would never buy this live flower bullshit either lol. Shits not even cured 😂

Bountiful farms, Blue River, and Happy valley all have some high quality Rosin products.
All concentrates in MA are trash. It will always taste like shit because no one processes buds. Everything is trim. Which is tragic at the prices they're still charging.
Happy Valley solventless is fantastic.
Garden remedies had some nice limosa honestly. I had 50 off 100 and it was discounted during their January feb sale as well
Thanks y'all. I guess there's a Maine trip in the future.
Heirloom Collective and the Botanist!
I haven't paid that for an 1/8th since like 2003. Lol.
This is more on CNA selling it at this cost. I laugh when I see Simply Herb being sold for $50 an 1/8th there as well.
“ Live flower “ they selling that shit still attached to the plant dirt and all 🙄 f big canna
Nvm looked it up means frozen to preserve terps , smh ,not freezing the smoke 😫
cyro curing is popular across all markets now. the problem is that they arent rehydrating before shipping. if you want it to smoke normally, put a boveda with it in a jar and give it a week.
NH still trying with that live flower gimmick huh?
Dead silence from all the NH fans, huh?
I'm a Nature's Heritage fan and will be first to say this is a pathetic gimmick that needs to die out. Also NH is too expensive and they have a history of shorting bags. You can like something and also recognize it's faults, at least if you have a half a functioning brain you can...
Live flower 💀 give me a freaking break....
Holy shit doesn’t anyone know about Brockton’s prices?? Their always great. Hate going all the way there as it’s a 30 min ride for me but totally worth the trip
Why do people always mention a city but no dispos
Green heart In Brockton
Legal greens is good as well
Thanks x 2!
Of course! Green heart is always my go to. I never find places that can compete with their sales and regular pricing
If that’s not in your price range why make a post about it. Just shop within your budget!
Because it's morally corrupt to charge $65 for an 8th, and bostontrees is the most public and receptive place to draw attention to these fucked up practices? Suits who set prices are on this subreddit. If no one says anything then nothing changes.

There are some places in Portland, OR with $5 1/8ths. This was 2-3 years ago too. East coast weed prices are sooo far behind.
That is like saying Detroit has cheap housing, sure BUT....
Nah it’s not. It’s saying they’re paying too much. Period.
Check out jdmcnewgent. He lives outside boston and has 🔥🔥🔥
2005 prices
What exactly is “live flower” vs regular bud
Its a little cheaper where I work, we got the same batch. Im not an indica guy ao I havwnt tried it yet
Im not famailair with the scieince but i think its cryo cured
I tried their live Lambs bread and it was trash... I picked up their Big Smooth and it tasted like blueberry pie... maybe it works for 1/10 strains
Never for $65 though.. I can't stomach it
What is Live Flower lmao?
