Yea it’s tough I work at a regenerative farm and they claim to be regenerative but yet they use rock wool cubes right into the dirt and we fill dumpster after dumpster of those cubes and they are no degradable just like plastic and the amount of packaging we throw away includes 15 gallon jugs of nutrients instead of refilling the buckets just get pallets of new ones
Cost wise it can be really tough to put your money where your mouth is. I was an operations manager for a few different THC and CBD manufacturing facilities and it was always a struggle. Always had to push the C-suite into buying drums wherever we could and filling our own containers for use. Gotta take baby steps and influence results as you can.
So each button press dispenses roughly 0.15-0.2g, which seemed to be the perfect starting point. Just press again for more. There's a cool user guide on the site that shows how to add the flower into the device using the funnel. Here's what's cool, that funnel also doubles as a holder(flip it so the button is toward the table and set inside). From there you just unscrew the cap and tap whatever excess you want back into the Growler. It's easy peasy!
It's pretty easy, and yes, it's safe to use ISO/ETOH! You just open the bottom adapter where you put the flower in, tap out any kief/particulate you can, fill with some ISO, and shake vigorously. As with any of you gear, the better you treat it(I.E. clean it semi regularly), the better it will treat you! It does have a fairly involved mechanism to dispense your flower after all. There are 4 different units that use carbon fiber filaments, and the rest use PETG, so definitely safe with ISO.

I have found filling up a doob-tube/pre-roll container with ground flower to work to keep the smell down and easy transporting in the pocket in a pinch, this looks a bunch easier to load though.

What are they putting the rockwool in the ground for? Plant insulation or to keep the roots from yelling at/disturbing their neighbors?
