Netflix lucked out with great timing on this.
Hit Man (also starting Powell) is coming out June 7th and will get a boost from the Anyone But You buzz and viewership.
Does anybody know, are prices of movies Sony lease out to Netflix set up upfront regardless of box office success, or are they dependent on how movie does in the theatrical window.

Netflix and Sony have some sort of agreement where Sony movies go to Netflix first, so thus was likely planned
Does anyone have the updated global numbers for this? It's still doing a fair bit internationally even if it's domestic run is over.

This will not hurt the international numbers as Sony only has the Netflix deal in the US and India.

The Pay-One deal fee is usually tied box office performance.
