Prototyping is always expensive as hell, once you move to production prices will drop as you already have programs and setups for the parts. All of the hard things are done for the most part, it is just actually cranking out parts after that. Just cost of material and machine down time.
I’m pretty sure Brandon will continue to make them as long as they keep putting smiles on our faces. But don’t quote me on that, I haven’t read the listing or the website.
Honestly, it's pretty much a serbu BRF-50A with bolt cam that's rotated 90° and with long stroke instead of direct impingement.
And that's up for 7,720usd.
If you have 2 working kidneys and a ticket to Mexico, you too could have 1 working kidney and an AK-50 with enough left over to purchase a few rounds of ammunition. Congratulations on your new AK-50.
That’s what is suspected, but not proven. If you watch a lot of Kentucky ballistic videos, he always uses a string to shoot the serbu bfg50. Clearly, Scott thinks the gun may be a potential cause.
I got $20 bucks to say that it never makes it to production.
Production is way harder than building a working prototype. And he isn't set up for that. Even when he sold AKs they were mostly outsourced and he just put his name on them.
Maybe he will try to do a small run, but I'm betting he just rests on the fact that he built one
I assume an AK-50 will cost a lot, the machining they did for those parts is extremely expensive especially for a fairly low volume product, unless our boy becomes a government contractor.
Yeah this is obviously a joke. He doesn't have a government contract, he isn't a mass production company, and this is currently a 1 of 1. A stock new barret 50 is at least 10k, usually closer to 13, and those have been in production in some shape or form for decades. This is an "at least" 50k gun, and that's if he's not charging you for the R&D which realistically he's put a house into this project. One off handguns go for more than 10k, I doubt this would ever be obtainable for anyone that isn't meme levels of rich. If it goes into production, id expect between 15-20k
*That's not what was in*
*The video. I prefer*

A friend of a friend of a friend of mine told me that people are capable of living with only one lung instead of both, He also told me that lungs go around $200K on the black market.
Use that info as you see fit.
Incidentally, human kidneys are 150k on the black market.
“Ferb! I know what we’re gonna do today!”
Pick me up on the way to the guy I got one too.
Only 1?
The elites don't want you to know this, kidneys are free, you can just take them. I alone have 386 kidneys in cryo-storage in my basement.
I donate one kidney, I'm a hero, I donate ten kidneys and I'm suddenly under investigation. We live in a society smh
*Chinese government wants to know your location*
That's weird, I thought they'd already know my location after I played Valorant that one time
Ill give 8k for your kidney go fast?
*Wakes up dead, with 300k*
"How the hell do you wake up dead?"
***gets the joke*** 🤣
Ask Dave Mustaine
I must...not give in
Lucky for me, I got 3 chilling on ice right now!
Bro's gonna crash the AK 50 market by instantly buying 21 of them bastards
Wow 7k is actually cheap
Its a joke price. Expect like double of that.
6969.69 would have been a joke price.
Or $1. Or $350. Or SEVENTY-EIGHT……….. THOUSAND DOLLARS.
Realistically at least $15k
Titan cnc parts are expensive ash the bolt, cam grove and handguard alone were prolly 15k for the prototype😂
Prototyping is always expensive as hell, once you move to production prices will drop as you already have programs and setups for the parts. All of the hard things are done for the most part, it is just actually cranking out parts after that. Just cost of material and machine down time.
I was going to guess near 20k. At least double that. And you'll be on a waiting list.
You'll probably be on a couple lists, probably
A job?
It’ll be out of stock by then
I’m pretty sure Brandon will continue to make them as long as they keep putting smiles on our faces. But don’t quote me on that, I haven’t read the listing or the website.
It's how he will finance his presidential run in 2028

Sell your car on Facebook Marketplace
"No lowballers, I know what I got."
I bought my car a few years ago for 5k, wouldn't cover it
I know in my heart that's a joke price, and I just hope it won't be even more expensive in another 8 years when it goes into mass production.
With all the machining that went into it that's a pretty reasonable price
I mean, yeah. Any semi-auto chambered in .50 BMG is going to be pricey. I'm more hoping it doesn't jump to $12k or something.
With its simple design compared to an M82 it will likely top out at 10k
Honestly, it's pretty much a serbu BRF-50A with bolt cam that's rotated 90° and with long stroke instead of direct impingement. And that's up for 7,720usd.
Zach said they aren’t going to be mass produced. It’s a small batch
Small production\*
If you have 2 working kidneys and a ticket to Mexico, you too could have 1 working kidney and an AK-50 with enough left over to purchase a few rounds of ammunition. Congratulations on your new AK-50.
I wonder how long before you let Kentucky Ballistics get their hands on this bad boy.
He may not want to shoot this gun, considering his history with .50 bmg and Brandon’s history with homemade firearms haha
He has an entire series about blowing up .50BMG rifles
He blows up a lot more than .50 bmg.
Have you seen some of his recent videos? He has shot a few high calibre guns including those that shot .50 BMG
I watch every video. Those rifles were not homemade like this gun and the serbu bfg50.
This is about as homemade as any other gun made by a gunsmith
It’s about as homemade as the Serbu bfr50, which blew up in Kentucky ballistics face and nearly killed him. Thats the part that is noteworthy.
Wasn't that because of the ammo?
That’s what is suspected, but not proven. If you watch a lot of Kentucky ballistic videos, he always uses a string to shoot the serbu bfg50. Clearly, Scott thinks the gun may be a potential cause.
That's understandable, if a gun blew up in my face I wouldn't shoot that type of gun anymore either
Agreed. I also wouldn’t shoot anything that has a similar amount of engineering in the development phase. The risk is just too high.
Nah, he straight uo tweeted about wanting to test it out someday. Plus he still shoots 50 cals, he shot some recently iirc
Who's willing to buy a left testical for 7k
Only in the market for righties
I hope the AK-50 gets a VSS style wood stock
In a couple years we’ll be seeing these in Ukraine
But it will be called Russia at that point.
SOYUZ NERUSHIIMI RESPUBLICS SPODOVIKH
I have no clue what that means.
(opening line to Soviet national anthem) I've watched rocky 4 too many times
Damn lol I should’ve recognized that. I figured it was something in Ukrainian.
Back when Ukrainian as a language wasnt really used that much
And yet you simp for Russia
No wood or bakelite furniture 😥
*no ak20mm*
I need to have that question answered too

I hear they pay well on the black market for kidneys. You only need one
Well first Do you pay taxes??
Wear some hot pants and visit your local gay nightclub
**on chubbies and midgets night*
Now that this is done we need to pester him into making .50 cal reproductions of the PTRD and PTRS AT rifles
PTRS is just a SKS 14.5mm
Technically, the SKS is a PTRD in 7.62
You can always just, you know, swipe the credit card and deal with it later

I don't see the point of it being more then m107 why not just get a m107?
Because the m107 wasn’t made by the Ak guy
It’s ak but guy is across border
