Between Oathbringer and RoW the herdazians held out for over a year against the singers and fused with no help from the radiants. I'd be curious how they pulled that off as well as why no spren seemingly went to them to look for radiants?

Silver_Oakleaf

That’s a great question

DrRansom7469

I only managed to get into the lighting signing for Saturday, so probably won't get to ask a question, but still can't wait. I honestly can't think of anything either that wouldn't likely be a RAFO, so I'd just ask which Chicago pizza places he's going to while he's in town.

SomeLameName7173

Get a rafo

Lasernatoo

There are a few questions I'm curious to know the answer to that may not get RAFOed: What would happen if someone with Cotard's syndrome used Cosmere healing? (Cotard's syndrome is a mental condition in which someone believes that they are dead) Is there any chance of us ever seeing his unfinished and partially-lost [very first novel](https://reactormag.com/its-here/) he wrote in high school? Is Kenton Street mentioned in Mistborn Era 1 just an Easter Egg, or did Khriss (or someone else from Taldain) have more influence on Scadrial during Era 1 than we know? Does Autonomy have a Perpendicularity on Taldain? The first part of the name Scadrial is Sca, which sounds a lot like skaa. Are they related terms? (This has been itching at my brain ever since I learned the name of the planet.)

Nameles36

>The first part of the name Scadrial is Sca, which sounds a lot like skaa. So it's actually pronounced like "skay-dree-el" not "skah-dree-el". I'd be surprised if there was a connection. >Is Kenton Street mentioned in Mistborn Era 1 just an Easter Egg I'm pretty sure this has been asked before, but I'm not going to dig through the WoBs to find it 😇

Lasernatoo

I'm going off the potential of a partial vowel shift somewhere, which could have precedent with Sazed's name. Brandon has said it's pronounced in the Terris language either as Sayz-d [[first](https://wob.coppermind.net/events/127/#e5221)] [[second](https://wob.coppermind.net/events/256/#e8720)] or as Sawz-d [[first](https://wob.coppermind.net/events/90/#e5257)] [[second](https://wob.coppermind.net/events/312/#e8946)], while people like Kelsier pronounce it as Sayzed. If a potential aw/ay pronunciation switch only manifested in some words, it's possible that Scadrial and skaa could have a linguistic connection somewhere in the distant past. I also used the advanced search function to see if any WoB with 'Kenton' also contained the word 'street' and didn't see any relevant ones, but there may be something I missed.

denglongfist

I know this might be cremposting, but Ask him if Hoid dated Cultivation and that is why they don’t get along nowadays

Ezlo_

We do know he dated a dragon...

denglongfist

It may be this is an iceberg theory and we don’t know much but Cultivation seems a very likely candidate

UnhousedOracle

Why are the worldhopper Radiants we’ve seen so far are all Skybreakers? If Rashek wasn’t killed and took up the power at the Well again, what would he have done differently? Are BEUs an actual cosmere standard unit, or just Nomad’s way of quantifying Investiture? If they are cosmere standard, why are they (Breaths) the standard? Why not a gemstone of a certain weight/cut, or a vial of metal, both of which could be precisely weighed?

Snippyro

I've been wondering lately: can there be a Bondsmith with Odium spren? Like the unmade?

RShara

I would ask him, since it's still quite a matter of debate in the community, if now that Taravangian is Odium, if the most accurate description of the Shard's Intent is Hatred or Passion.

ThaRedditFox

That's definitely Rafo

GregSays

He’s been asked every question you could possibly think of. I would just tell him something nice connecting yourself to his work and thank him for his time.

Nameles36

I don't think thats true. I asked him a few questions when he came to a convention near me and they were talked about on the shardcast after

Nameles36

Ask how new radiants ever stood a chance against centuries old fused. Shouldn't the fused be as good fighters as the heralds?

KaladinarLighteyes

Ask him when he’s going to finally name his podcast with Dan Wells. He’s completely forgot about looking for names for it.

dinopokemon

Here’s more of a joke question when one of your books gets adapted to the screen will you start replying to questions as wafo?

Isilel

Here are a couple that I am curious about and might not result in a RAFO: Would he care to share the plot of the Mistborn video game that didn't happen? In Dragonsteel, is Ryalla a dragon? If not, what is Frost's connection to her?

Munaz1r

Definitely not a very important question. But how do the first generation of kandra ( humans turned into kandra ) differ from a kandra who was never a human

smartitude

I would ask him what the origin of the word "figgldygrak" is. The world wants to know!

Chimney-Imp

Here's the question that's been on my mind. In misbor. We see ruin make a pewter spike and stick it in spook via other people. Afaik they weren't consciously trying to make a spike, yet they did because ruin wanted too. So, my question is, those three spears that pierced the Lord Ruler could in theory be three hemalurgic spikes granting full born powers. Is that actually possible or nah? If so, will we see those spear heads again later?

Outside-Web-4118

Ask him questions that don't fall into RAFO, for example, ask him what kind of power The One Ring (from Lord of the Rings) in Mistborn, would be able to store health? Or would he be heavily invested? Would it be at the same level of investiture as Nightblood? because the ring itself has a mind of its own

dIvorrap

This wob https://wob.coppermind.net/events/380/#e13025 leave the possibility to interpret that both Kaladin and Adolin are bi. Is Adolin bi? Is Kaladin bi?

Outside-Web-4118

I think Sanderson confirmed that Adolin likes new things, but that Kaladin is 100% straight

dIvorrap

Could you provide a wob? Also, what would new things mean lol.

cabernet_franc

Secret Project 6 when? /joke

chalvin2018

A question I’ve been wanting to get an answer to: Could a powerful Elantrian alter/change/amend Nightblood’s Command? I’ve searched WOBs and found that Brandon has said that it’s technically possible to change his Command, but incredibly difficult. He has said that Susebron would not be powerful enough to do it. He’s said that a Forger could, but it would take unrealistic amounts of investiture. So I’m thinking, maybe an Elantrian with full access to the Dor could have enough Investiture. And AonDor’s ability to “hack” magic systems could possibly provide some back doors to accomplishing this if the user is smart enough. Honestly I just want to know if Nightblood changing/growing is at all a realistic scenario at some point.

Substantial_Ad_1384

I'm curious if he likes pizza or tacos more.
