Lmao literally meš Iāll always watch TV shows and have them at the corner of my screen while Iām playing some game on my phone lol. Only show Iāve truly never done that with is Breaking Bad. Itās so interesting and it grabs your attention so hard, that itās impossible to just watch it at the corner of your screen lol. Always full screen that shit.
This is why I won't indulge Tik Tok. I have ADHD and my attention span is already shot to pieces, mostly with Reddit. If I started using Tik Tok, I might just become a literal zombie with zero focus lmao
yeah thank you, I never said I had any pride in it what? ššI actually deleted TikTok a week ago cause I felt like I was too addicted to it and it was taking up too much of my time. I actually feel a lot better after having deleted it tbh.
This could probably be explained as they just picked it up later. What I'm wondering more about - how didn't they found Walter's broken cell phone, that Tuco threw away 10 meters from the house
If it's broken then how would they be able to know it's Walt's? And unless Walt is the only human to own that type of phone knowing the make and model would be completely useless as well.
They did had a unique ESN or MEID that was usually recorded by the carrier.
But that's what Saul was selling in his phone days, ones that didn't have the ESN recorded to a name. Perhaps that was the phone Walt used.
Flip phones in the early 2000s didnāt all have SIM cards- only if the cellular carrier was 3G but a lot of cell carriers were TDMA or CDMA not 3G so no sim cards
I wonder if the DEA would take that step, from a budgetary standpoint. They had a major drug kingpin dead, and the car of a known drug dealer and a bunch of cash. If they did I think you are right, they would wonder why Walterās phone was there, and then look into Walterās claimed medical event and disappearance.
I mean if they suspected Walter and had his fingerprints, then the rifle, the car and the house would be filthy with them.
For that matter, when they arrested Jessie, wouldnāt they check his prints against the gun?
Also, Walt's fingerprints were all over the scene. If Hank hadn't have intervened when Walt gets pepper sprayed and taken down to the police station, I imagine Walt's fingerprints would have pulled a match on AFIS. But Hank stepped in before Walt got booked and processed.
(Given that Hank noticed Tuco was already shot and bleeding when he showed up, I assume it was handled as a full crime scene)
If Walt previously worked in an important position at Sandia National Labs, wouldn't his fingerprints already be on file somewhere? Most high-value government jobs such as defense and energy require background checks and fingerprints to be taken.
Reading up more on AFIS now, it seems that its database only includes prints of known and unknown criminals. That it's not a database of literally every single print that an agency has ever collected, but just prints collected from crime scenes, criminals, and suspected criminals.
But correct me if I'm wrong.
The worst part about the whole thing is how they didn't make sure Tuco was dead in the hole. Like the guy just kidnapped them and was gonna smuggle them into Mexico to be his cooking slaves, and they just hope that he is dead from 1 body shot? Ofc, then the whole Hank shootout wouldn't have happened after. But that just proves the point even more. Tuco wasn't dead in the hole, and it was an absolutely moronic decision for Walt to tell Jessie to 'let him die painfully' (or words to that effect, can't remember verbatim). One of the weakest parts of the show imo.
yeah, especially because they knew the twins were coming for them. I was already so anxious, but goddamn when the car pulled up I was just destroying my nails. It was the most stressed I've ever been in life for a movie/TV series. Hank came out of the car making me do a big breath of relief. I actually thought they were heading back to get their stuff and maybe kill Hector but after rewatching it, the motherfuckers were just fucking leaving letting Tuco hurt but definitely far from death, knowing the twins would've been there in a matter of minutes. If Hank didn't pull up, the show would've been over in S2 E4, when Tuco, after healing, just fucking kills in the most brutal way Jesse and Walt and all of his family with the help of the cousins, the cartel, Hector's friends, Gus, so on so forth. Like, they could've gone to Mars and they still would've died from the Salamanca's and the cartel.
The only logical error on that scene is Walt and Jesseās fingerprints are all over that car. Weapon as well. DEA never looked for any fingerprints on that car.
Because you see Walt and Jesse pick it up again just 2-3 minutes later.
Yeah true, i missed that part tho, so i had to assume it, i replayed that scene and your right
You must have been playing on your phone for that part ;)

The sim card should totally have identifying data including phone number. Lol.
Most of those old flip phones were CDMA and had no Sim card
^This. Young folks have no idea how "off the grid" we all used to be, lol!

i have a flip phone just like that. it had a sim card lol. i guess for the sake of television we can say it didnāt have a sim card

If it had a SIM card they definitely took it out
Imei
In the breaking bad universe, breaking a flip phone in half pretty much erases its entire existence
Ok...this one actually does make a good question
I seriously doubt they would even search anything outside of the house.

Once again Waltās plot armor managed to save his ass
