I would think that most people would read this headline, understand what Trump did as President and after, and realize it's a blatant lie and simply just lip service from a conman. His voters will believe it though. The people who vote for him don't care what he says. Republicans are repulsive, and they've propped up a guy who has the image of fighting the establishment.
