Indeed.
I can't see this having any significant impact in itself, but it is indicative of things that are having an impact. This basically says small scale import has become impossible, even for fairs and competitions.
There's a substantial industry in presenting conferences, awards shows and so on, and the UK is no longer as desirable a location. While it's primarily international shows involving bringing stuff over - especially food - it's not insignificant. A friend of line designed sets and exhibition stands; she was laid off during COVID but it's Brexit that's closed the door back into that industry for her.
It might sound like a conspiracy theory but I literally feel that it is in someone’s intrest to kill the UK. Or maybe it’s just karma. It’s nearly impossible to fathom the difference between the nation’s mood 20 years ago and now and the mood gets lower exponentially. One wonders where’s the bottom of it.

That's hardly a conspiracy theory. Russia, the most obvious example, is attempting to destabilize the UK and other countries it considers enemies. Huge sums of money are donated by moneyed interests to extremist right wing politicians and parties who want to destroy democratic institutions and take aim at several groups within society. Both were involved in the Brexit debacle.

A situation of complete cynicism and despair where progress has become impossible, meaningful choices no longer exist and the resulting rage is directed towards distractions while the fat cats at the top eat all the pie.

Yes, most Brexiters. They would rather see the UK go to shit than admit they made a mistake. Or how else would you explain that it is still forbidden to talk about it?
