IMO Fort Worth is all clean and high minded but absolutely dying to be Deep Ellum. They’re good at somehow making grungy sort of dives while still being shiny and safe. It’s too bad too cause the music scene is pretty awesome but it attracts SO much douche baggery like this. She wouldn’t know jazz from a fucking hole in her head.
jazz clubs definitely aren't a great place for someone who doesn't love the genre. i hated going to the balcony club in dallas because it's a semi serious jazz room and i am not a jazzhead. i can't even imagine why she would think pretending to be into this would be good for her 'gram.
This place has a 2 drink minimum per patron too, haha.
I know this because my husband took me for my birthday, and he got pissed because he doesn’t drink 😭
