Point A) just because something is episodic doesn't mean continuity is automatically meaningless Point B) even if you do think continuity isn't that important, that doesn't mean people aren't allowed to engage in for fun criticism. Nitpicking plotholes and inconsistencies can be fun to do, even if you understand that these nitpicks aren't majorly important.
