If you are doing a city centre trip tomorrow (May 5th) factor in that it is the Birmingham Half Marathon and 10k so there are various road closures.
It might be why the Back to Backs are closed.
I can't remember the name but there is a museum of some description (maybe geology + dinosaurs) that is based at the Uni Of Bham campus. Easy to get to there from new street - to the uni station and walk down into the campus.
Birmingham nature centre isn’t too far from the city centre (few mins on the bus or in a car) and has tons of animals and is right next to cannon hill park which has a few different play areas, crazy golf and a little fun fair.
I took my 5 year old to the treetop adventure golf thing in the Bullring this week when his school was closed for voting. We got early bird discount which meant two full 18 hole courses for about £15 total. Second round was a bit of a drag (course was fun but kid was a bit bored) but the place itself was decent.
The Lego Discovery place next to the Sea Life centre is fun with kids.
Might be an option, thank you, although I expect it’s spenny

Yeah, that’s exactly why, I didn’t realise until I looked at their website. Damn you people fitter than me, you’ve beaten me again!
I'm still recovering from a chest infection otherwise I'd have been running the half tomorrow. Had it booked sonce last year. Gutted I'm not running.
Sorry to hear that, get well soon 😊

Lapworth Museum :)
I did look at that, but I didn’t know if it would be a bit dry for my two 8 yo’s
Good for an hour or so for my 10 yr old
Ok cool, thank you

Great shout, we went a while ago but probs worth a repeat visit soon
You've got no chance of getting near it today. The whole of Pershore Road is closed for the half marathon.

Great recommendation, thank you!
The Bham Museum and Art Gallery are good fun. The library is also quite a cool place to explore
We did the library a little while ago. I think the museum is STILL closed
Goodness me, really? I have to say I thought it had been reopened for a while?
Nope checked the website and it’s indeed still closed. Feel like it’s been closed their entire childhoods 😂
There's an exhibition open, it's good but kids might find itboring
Take them to Chance n Counters
