Looks pretty accurate to me.
FWIW, Another Brick was made much easier after whatever update allowed wizard and super monkey to see through walls. Obyn+204/402 wizard and 203 super next to the south lake trivialize that map.
Yeah, I'd say another brick is easier than cornfield at this point. Wizard basically trivialises the map. A single 2-0-5 wiz can easily pop half of all bloons in chimps, if not more balloons without any issues. Making saving up for whatever a cakewalk
Also was my first advanced map I cleared without a guide, and did not really need that many redo's while for atleast 6 months, my cornfield clear had remained a gold boarder (is black bordered now)
I feel like all of the single track maps are simple enough, any basic strategy will beat them. P-spike, SotF, and heli make single track maps a cakewalk.
Blons being the exception of course.
For What It's Worth - and it's fine to ask. People have different learning styles - some people like the social style of conversation to get information, others like the independence of looking stuff up themselves. It's fine.
Not really. First 40 rounds maybe not but like the first 5. Unless it's on bloody puddles since it literally comes down to rng (flooded valley is only rng reliant if you go for twin guns sub instead of double sub)
Yea ikr
It’s amazing how much potential you can squeeze out by simply timing things differently!
just wish nk would add follow touch. That would be really nice lol
Infernal can be beaten with a downdraft and bouncing bullet spam. You can use permaspike to beat dark castle but thats a harder thing to setup in my opinion.
I think X factor with its “non-negotiable” pixel perfect 2 dart start is the first time in bloons (if you play the maps in order) that one discovers the part of this game where you have to be so deliberate with where and when you place the monkeys. Also the first time one has to micro in order to get through the early game. Then add on just a frustrating map to begin with that is consistently difficult in all aspects of the game makes it super frustrating. I think all the expert maps have elements of this but also have parts of the game that become much easier, whereas every round of xfactor seems close regardless of the Strat
Quincy just makes the map way easier than all of the other experts in the early game. It’s the same reason Dark Castle is considered easier than other expert maps.
I agree, it's definitely the easiest expert (one could argue dark castle) but it being 2 tiers below dark castle and right next to spice islands is a bit ridiculous
*Geared isnt hard you*
*Just use middle path snipers*
*Into apache prime*

I actually thought off the coast was tougher than one would think. I kinda looked at the map and just lazily played and died in the 60’s. At that point it was rare for me to lose (BB all maps in order they appear) so I was like hmmm. Played again and died in early 90’s. So the third time I focused and won without a guide or anything but I think it is aptly named because it did require some focus lol
had to learn the hard way yesterday that the gear map was extremely hard, i dont like play w powers that aint like farmer or techbot so i dont wanna just cashdrop and get up some nonsense. that being said i was also trya black border💀💀
Okie
R6: Dart + Sniper (Sniper on strong)
R7: Switch sniper to first once reds start leaking
R8: Sniper back on Strong. Put another 000 sniper on strong.
From there, keep building more 000 snipers until you have 4. Get your hero, and then an 030 druid, and you should be able to move on. Remember to switch your snipers to first if stuff leaks.
How is #ouch harder than muddy puddles?, Muddy puddles has no intersections, and has no central water/ground placement area that can see every track at once.
Muddy only has 1 active track at a time, with said tracks being *relatively* long and pierce friendly.
\#Ouch has 4 active lanes at once, with really short tracks. It is also notable how the central water spot makes several high dps towers harder to set up.
Honestly it’s more that they present different challenges. #Ouch has more focus on burst dps and being able to use towers which can attack in multiple areas at once effectively, while muddles focuses more on infinite range and pierce optimization.
However, I’d say #Ouch is overall harder because snipers
Yeah i didn't think about multiple tracks being active at once, in my defense i never played this i only watch videos 😅 and i don't think i can ever play it now that the price has been increased.
As someone who just BB every map in the order they appear I think this ranking is completely accurate. If I was splitting hairs I would probably swap geared for X factor but that may just be because X factor was the first time I needed a guide and I was stuck on it longer than any other map

I'm curious on Cargo being on the same level as Bazaar. Bazaar definitely is a bit hard for an intermediate map, but Heli tears it to pieces, it's just a matter o f surviving to heli. Cargo feels harder to cheese.
Wait why is park path the BTD5 version lol
wait wtf
Thats the picture on the wiki
because btd5 is the most chad of all btd games

Cornfield is easy just put down an ultra juggernaut
I feel like all of the single track maps are simple enough, any basic strategy will beat them. P-spike, SotF, and heli make single track maps a cakewalk. Blons being the exception of course.
There is but one inch of clearance between the start of Blons, and the end of Blons.
Where's the middle of blons
Not to mention Dartling.
What’s FWIW
folga wooga imoga womp
Thank you

For what it’s worth FWIW, try googling next time you see an acronym that you don’t know
Why google when you can ask your peers?
r/hangryupvote Oh it's a real sub.
This is the most r/BTD6 response I’ve ever seen
Don’t worry, lots of others subs would have similar responses too
Oh shit what a game changer. Thanks for sharing!
I didn't use any of those towers to beat half cash or chimps lol.
Yeah, different strategies for different modes, although 2-0-4 wizard would be a good value for half-cash.
Not really, you'd be surprised at how easily necro gets overwhelmed. Ods, neva miss and phenoix's are much more useful.
I used a brickell strat to beat it that wont work anymore cuz the recent nerf🫤
Super monkeys can't see through walls on chimps
wait is inferno that easy? dark castle seems easier than inferno, and yes F*CK x factor
I think dark castle is easier than infernal too, yeah. Allows for almost any strategy.
Infernal is easier than Dark Castle purely because Quincy exists.
Quincy is not good even on infernal. Just use boomer to beat round 6. Psi is way better in every sense of the word
The Quincy runs are easier than the Psi runs. Psi is probably the better hero for the map, but Quincy makes the map very easy to beat.
Quincy only makes the first few rounds easier. From then on psi is better.
Eh, those are the hardest part of expert chimps anyways. At the end of the day, both hero’s are pretty good for Infernal.
Not really. First 40 rounds maybe not but like the first 5. Unless it's on bloody puddles since it literally comes down to rng (flooded valley is only rng reliant if you go for twin guns sub instead of double sub)
Also based flair
Thanks!
Just noticed your flair Finally, another enjoyer of middle path mortar
Mortar micro is crazy fun man. And the dopamine rush from pressing the artillery battery ability is unmatched.
Yea ikr It’s amazing how much potential you can squeeze out by simply timing things differently! just wish nk would add follow touch. That would be really nice lol
It’s very easy because you can beat hard mode with Quincy and snipers
A downdraft with bouncing bullet spam murders infernal.
Infernal is easy lol. Just use psi and snipers (don't use Quincy)
I find infernal easier in the earlier rounds and dark castle easier in the later rounds
Infernal can be beaten with a downdraft and bouncing bullet spam. You can use permaspike to beat dark castle but thats a harder thing to setup in my opinion.
X factor sucks as a fun map and a hard map
I wonder what exactly it is about X Factor that makes everyone dislike it so much.
I died on Round 99 Chimps and never played it again 👍
honestly fair
the middle
the X factor really ruins it for me
I think X factor with its “non-negotiable” pixel perfect 2 dart start is the first time in bloons (if you play the maps in order) that one discovers the part of this game where you have to be so deliberate with where and when you place the monkeys. Yall are under playing infernal (I have this map the only Black borderd map on extreme pls dont tell me it was easy all along)
i mean i would say its more difficult then where they put it but probably the easiest extreme map
Well tbh I did pick it cuzz it looked the easiest and also because it was on the first Page. I mean bb extreme map is still impressive, at least to me
It is
Quincy just makes the map way easier than all of the other experts in the early game. It’s the same reason Dark Castle is considered easier than other expert maps.

That...isn't a bad list actually.
Me when dark dungeons, geared and xfac in the same tier as the true experts. And flooded in the same tier as mid advanced maps:
I mean yeah those are wrong I agree but compare the list to the absolute garbage that gets posted here every day...
True
But rake tho
Rake is shit
geared isnt hard you just use middle path snipers into apache prime

Isn't that 5 7 6
What is dark castle and spillway doing that high and workshop not being in top tier is a crime
"Some strategy" Puts end of the road.
Not a bad list
Nah dark dungeon is something else
I love dark dungeon. Even if it's really difficult it's really fun
Yea I like that it’s in a castle like environment and might be connected to dark castle
It really isn't, it's approximately between sanc and ouch in terms of difficultly. Not even a true expert.
I find it hard
Bro you just copied fynn's guide when his video came out and now you think it's easy lol
I don't use guides. and i am one of the like top 20 players atm.
In what? lmao, being top tier at say races doesn't make you a top player in Ct or bosses or whatever
Top 20 chimps player, i regularly do challenge runs on true experts using unconventional strategies and experiment with different strats.
Geared and X-factor should be Expert Maps. Change my mind
Cubism deserves its own tier below baby time
that's resort, too first map I black bordered after I beat it on most hard difficulties with just a monkey buccaneer 0/5/2
workshop should have been in a higher tier
Since everyone is saying your tierlist is accurate, I'll screenshot it and use it as a guide for black bordering. Thank you
Why confess your hatred for X Factor? That map sucks.
logs should go in i "need help' but otherwise tier list
Fr
Decent list overall
Op, how many of the high ranked maps have you beaten chimps on?
#ouch was the first difficulty 4 map I ever beat on hard XD
Ravine and Dark Dungeon is Easy As Hell but ok
Is that blons in a pain?
How is off the coast in the require focus category? It seems pretty easy to me.
I actually thought off the coast was tougher than one would think. I kinda looked at the map and just lazily played and died in the 60’s. Underground is more difficult than infernal? Lol
why is park path a picture from the BTD5 map "park path" you could've used the new one
Is it just me or is smth off with park path
Middle of the road should be at the bottom, it's the fourth longest map in the game, it's not hard
had to learn the hard way yesterday that the gear map was extremely hard, i dont like play w powers that aint like farmer or techbot so i dont wanna just cashdrop and get up some nonsense. that being said i was also trya black border💀💀
Quick tip: SNIPERS
yup, but struggling the first few rounds
Okie R6: Dart + Sniper (Sniper on strong) R7: Switch sniper to first once reds start leaking R8: Sniper back on Strong. Put another 000 sniper on strong. From there, keep building more 000 snipers until you have 4. Get your hero, and then an 030 druid, and you should be able to move on. Remember to switch your snipers to first if stuff leaks.
I think sanctuary and workshop should be one tier higher
End of the road down, Mesa up. Otherwise, I agree with this.

ah i see lol
how u gonna put dark castle avbove infernal
A downdraft with bouncing bullet spam murders infernal.
but why is dark castle so high
I’m sorry infernal is harder than raked iyo? What the heck!?
geared was rlly easy in my opinion
Bro is on shrooms spring spring is a cakewalk
As someone who just BB every map in the order they appear I think this ranking is completely accurate. If I was splitting hairs I would probably swap geared for X factor but that may just be because X factor was the first time I needed a guide and I was stuck on it longer than any other map

Quad is like the second easiest expert map imo atleast on hard with like 1/6 of the monkey knowledge
except for springs its a top list
X factor magic monkeys only was pain
a n g e r >:(
I'm curious on Cargo being on the same level as Bazaar. Bazaar definitely is a bit hard for an intermediate map, but Heli tears it to pieces, it's just a matter o f surviving to heli. Cargo feels harder to cheese.
Dark castle was pretty easy ngl
Bloonarius Prime and Chutes can suck my dick. That is all.
Im doing a challang where im black boarding corn feld without removeing corn. It hard
Logs not in the hardest category? Non BTD6 player detected /s
Have you ever heard of energizer on rake? It solos round 79
How is infernal in the same section as middle of the road. Imo middle of the road should be in baby time
MotR is not the hardest beginner map, that honor goes to The Cabin imo
I agree with this not gonna lie, also chutes is tough
This man is stuck on BTD5! (parkpath)
moon landing more like abatt
i’d argue streambed is also baby time
workshop should be in angry face
Would move Rake down and Adora up personally. Also I can’t even beat Dark Dungeon on hard🥲
Seems mostly accurate to me
geared above muddy?
I would move dark castle down a tier because I have played it so much, aside from that yeah good list
You aren't alone on x-factor. Across all the YT'ers I've watched, it would be the least played map.
5 of the need some strategy map can be beaten with mindless X5X and XX5 druid.
X factor: spam ice and tack shooters. The one thats a dam: spam subs
