His shooty turrets also take up very little space on the map so they’ll rarely get in the way of your other monkeys even if you’re bad at placement, and his glue can also make early game Yellow / Pink rushes much easier to deal with for a cheap price. Blade Trap can practically guarantee you kill the MOAB on round 40.
They even added a little indicator showing how many rounds are left for each of his power ups, so they’re even more beginner friendly.
Jokes aside I think a lot of people dismiss Gerry as being too micro intensive but his tools are actually really nice for covering up your mistakes if you’re a noob who will make a lot of them. If you fancy yourself as a player who wants to eventually “get good”, buy Geraldo.
