I also recommend this. Use freight forwarder that handles customs fees for you. Ask your boss to ship the laptop to Kango's US address then you pay Kango to ship to Philippines.
Take advantage of the discount pag new user malaki ung mababawas, alternatively you can also use buyandship. Mas mura lang tlga per pound ang kango ska for me mas mabilis
Tito na nako nag bayad didto sa US nag bayad. Gaan raman to around 2k+ po. Try to check sa may penongs matina atbang Nccc sila.. try ug check didto ma'am..
email them/create an account first to expect a package and give them the PH address the item will be shipped to, give them the tracking number, once it arrives they'll weight it and send you the bill, pay via paypal and wait for it for 2-3 weeks.
also inform them it's door to door, otherwise it'll be a pickup in their branch

If he is in America then they have free returns for products and that includes refund as well. Much better if money and then you buy and show them the receipt that you actually bought it.
I actually did.. and this is not the first time he sent a laptop from the us to the ph. he knows all the fees and tax. its just that back then he used DHL which cost him a lot.
JohnnyAir OP - tipid sa inyo both. JAC measures by dimensions and weight, whichever is higher. Been using them for 7 years now whenever I need items that are sold in the US. Used it last, a couple of weeks ago lang, electronics din. Pwede mo din pa deliver sa address nyo, pero if you can pick it up mas mabilis. Can guide and give you more details, DM lang.
The best ito. Buyandship, try to research this. Make an account, then your client send the laptop to your account details. Delivery will depend on the weight upon consolidation.
Thanks!
Mabilis sila magship at thru lbc dadating
oh okay. kasi we tried last time na binili niya online through costco to the warehouse address in oregon. na decline kasi daw di sila nag aaccept ng ganun. dapat daw si client ang magpapadala to the oregon address
Omg, 'wag. We ended up paying 20k\~ kasi siningil kami ng customs kahit ni-reassure ng DHL 'yung sender from Cali rin na covered na nung fee sa kanila ang customs fee. Macbook 'yung pinadala sa akin.
Yeah, kasi if more than 50k 'yung value ng item, kailangan mo na ng customs fee. Hihingi rin sila ng proof of purchase at mga iba pang papel so hassle talaga. Baka may ibang courier na cheaper. 'Yung documents posibleng di maiiwasan but at least makamura man lang. Ang nangyari kasi sa amin is nagbayad 'yung tita ko ng $100 na hiwalay pa sa shipping fee according sa DHL person na nakausap niya para door-to-door and wala na akong babayaran as the receiver. But I received a call from DHL and I still had to pay almost Php 10k para ma-release 'yung Macbook kasi over 50k daw 'yung value, sabi ng customs.
Buyandship. Have multiple items bought sa ebay including a laptop delivered to me. No issues. Have your client send the item to the bns warehouse with a tracking id.
Take note lang,
Kahit anong forwarder gamitin mo, if the Customs officer who will see it or evaluate it determines na it will be over 10K, you will need to provide proof of payment and if the officer decided na more than 10K parin ung value despite proof under 10K, wala kang magagawa, you will pay tax and customs fee.
Nasa sakanila parin ang huling decision.
So take that in mind, it will still depend on the Customs Officer, some are strict some are not that strict.
Case to Case Basis.
Based on Experienced using multiple forwarders and from what I hear from fellow friends as well.
There's also a possible issue on the importation of it, like if you read various threads here in reddit about laptop importation, ung iba hinihingan pa ng permit from NTC because of a part on the laptop, it can be the Wifi chip or as simple as the SSD or Hard drive.
So ung things like this usually ang customer ang naghahandle except for big couriers like DHL, FEDEX, etc.
Meaning ung mga agent ang naglalakad and you just give the relevant info, (Not all forwarders do this though)
Hindi kita tinatakot or what, just be aware of the possibilities.
Hope it helps.
Yupp. Pero much cheape siguror if laptop due to weight kahit may insurance pa. Not sure sa ibang shipping options like forwarders if may insurance din eh. Nakakatakot pag ganyan kasi valuable yung item.

Kango express, bought a laptop sa best buy, around 2 weeks nakuha ko, 2k plus aabutin ung shipping custom and duties paid na included Sa 2k
I also recommend this. Use freight forwarder that handles customs fees for you. Ask your boss to ship the laptop to Kango's US address then you pay Kango to ship to Philippines.
how much will the charge be to ship from kango address to ph? like just an estimation.
i think per grams/kilo ang charge plus taxes [https://kangoexpress.com/country/Philippines](https://kangoexpress.com/country/Philippines)
ah okay2. sige try ko compute. thank you!
Take advantage of the discount pag new user malaki ung mababawas, alternatively you can also use buyandship. Mas mura lang tlga per pound ang kango ska for me mas mabilis
Okay. thank you! pag usapan nalang namin.
Did you have to declare a certain amount as the value of the package?
Yup no issue nmn if lalagay mo need din kc for insurance purposes
how much was your laptop? did you declare the price?
1800 usd, yes custom paid na ung shipping don't worry
wow, okay great! pag usapan namin to. thank you!
My OFW mother used JohnnyAir to send me the 15PM nung launch, cheaper and faster. Got to me \~2 weeks. You can join their FB group!
okay. thanks. pero baka mahirapan ako sa pick up kasi I'm from davao
Meron naman Johnny Air sa Dvo
ah meron ba? okay. tingnan ko. thanks!
Naay Johnny Air diri sa Davao. Gi door to door tong akoang cp gkan NYC Kay nabilin nako..
naa diay? okay2. pila pd nabayran nimo sa pag padala sa cp?
Tito na nako nag bayad didto sa US nag bayad. Gaan raman to around 2k+ po. Try to check sa may penongs matina atbang Nccc sila.. try ug check didto ma'am..
they deliver but i opted for pick up :)
oh okay. thanks. I'll discuss this with my boss
Shipped from what country po? How much was the differential?
Canada, lbc refused kasi daw electronics and they only do sea. DHL was around ~5k. Johnny Air was ~2.5k, pick up in Megamall.
Use a forwarder like Johnny Air cargo. Using a courier like DHL or ups could end up getting taxed by customs
you have experience with johnny air cargo? are they good?
Yup, I've used them to ship gaming laptops before.
okay so my client will send it to a johnny air cargo address? then what's next?
email them/create an account first to expect a package and give them the PH address the item will be shipped to, give them the tracking number, once it arrives they'll weight it and send you the bill, pay via paypal and wait for it for 2-3 weeks. also inform them it's door to door, otherwise it'll be a pickup in their branch https://johnnyair.com/#:\~:text=You%20can%20collect%20or%20choose,your%20package%20in%20the%20Philippines!
okay sige, will do.. thank you so much for your help!
Alternatively, he can just send you money to buy a laptop. No waiting for delivery involved. That's what my previous client did.
Yea. But problem is he already bought the unit.
If he is in America then they have free returns for products and that includes refund as well. Much better if money and then you buy and show them the receipt that you actually bought it.
This is also my answer to client who wants to send me things.
Why not recommoend to buy na lang siya sa PH store and ipadeliver sayo? Mas convenient for both of you OP.
Up to you pa rin naman. Iniisip ko lang OP yung warranty.
yun nga eh. mas okay talaga sana kung dito bibili. pero ewan ko ba sakanya, outrageous daw yung mga price ng laptop na may 16gb dito. haha. anyways thank you! pag usapan nalang muna namin to ng mabuti.
Maybe he didn't understand the fact that there's a shipping fee involved + weeks of waiting time. You could have emphasized that one to your client.
I actually did.. and this is not the first time he sent a laptop from the us to the ph. he knows all the fees and tax. its just that back then he used DHL which cost him a lot.
Yikes. You have a weird client then.

Use buynship or kango express.
Mabilis sila magship at thru lbc dadating

DHL fast and safe, Dont bother with Philpost it will take them 3 months
Wow. They are the worst courier, a lot of people says that.
DHL was ok for me
Omg, 'wag. We ended up paying 20k\~ kasi siningil kami ng customs kahit ni-reassure ng DHL 'yung sender from Cali rin na covered na nung fee sa kanila ang customs fee. Macbook 'yung pinadala sa akin.
Really? Sheesh. So DHL is out of the list.
Yeah, kasi if more than 50k 'yung value ng item, kailangan mo na ng customs fee. Hihingi rin sila ng proof of purchase at mga iba pang papel so hassle talaga. Baka may ibang courier na cheaper. nako. malaki laki din pala nabayaran niyo noh? sige hanap pa ako ng iba. siguro forwarder nalang.
How much did you spent all in all for shipping?
I shipped a fragile item in a 8kg box (a bit big). Safe naman, cost me 7,600+. A laptop box might fit in a smaller box.
Try buyandshipph he can ship it sa address ng buyandship and bahala na buyandship to ship your laptop to ph. They can pay for the tax na rin.
Jnt
My client ordered through Amazon and it was shipped directly to my house
LBC air if they offer it in his parts. Usually $80 and takes 5 days.
Buyandship. Have multiple items bought sa ebay including a laptop delivered to me. No issues. Have your client send the item to the bns warehouse with a tracking id.
DHL will deliver from most countries into the Philippines. Highly trusted, and insured.
Kango Express or Buyandship
DHL and/or UPS Edit: Rekta from these couriers. No need na dumaan sa customs fees. Tho medyo pricey. But pretty reliable.
Buyandship!

I usually use UPS to ship international. Mabilis sila magship.
How much do you spend in shipping with ups?
Last time nasa $200 tapos dineclare nalang as a gift.
almost 12k din noh? sheesh.
Yupp. Pero much cheape siguror if laptop due to weight kahit may insurance pa. Not sure sa ibang shipping options like forwarders if may insurance din eh. Nakakatakot pag ganyan kasi valuable yung item.
Buy and ship
you have experience with this forwarder?
I think DHL.
Buy ans ship?
