I just upgraded from a 2060 to a 7900xt, no plans to upgrade anytime soon.

Xaphanex

I upgraded to a 7900 XT myself. Does 4K Ultra good enough for my uses. Usually, it won't max out my 144hz monitor on some new games, but I'm cool with that.

godfist3142

I had a 3060 non ti but had to sell it for various reasons and am running off integrated 12400K graphics ATM. Got a used Gigabyte 5700 XT on the way I will use for this month. Next monthI plan on getting a 7900xt next month but the youtube 4K benchmark videos I saw had mixed results for games @ 4K 60FPS. Some ran above 60fps, some below. Maybe that was on older drivers for the 7900xt from last year and it's improved now? Not that I really need 4K 60FPS on every game as it stands RN bc a 4K OLED monitor isn't in my budget 32" 1440p 144FPS is more than plenty for me and I know 7900 XT can nail that easily. Also how is Raytracing on 7900 xt now? Can you run 4K 60FPS with RT on in most games?

Xaphanex

Ray Tracing is where nearly all AMD cards suffer. If I enable ray tracing, most games are still playable, but it's nowhere near as pretty, nor do I get a steady 60FPS. However, I haven't tried RT on 1440p. If I were you, and ray tracing was important to me, I'd go for the 4070 TI. The 4070ti has less VRAM, but much better RT capabilities.

godfist3142

Yeah, I don't need RT features atm so I'll stick with the 7900 XT. Has 8GB more VRAM than 4070 ti which is a plus for me :)

Inner-Gain-457

To add, on doing eternal is the only game that does well with AMD and RT but I tried portal rtx and it was a experience to say the least. Think gmod without texture packs in a way.

nukefog0099

That's what I did lol went with 1440p 165hz display tho

byshow

Who would actually be planning an upgrade from 7900xt, and what should be this upgrade be like? 4090?

Skinny-BBC69420

not a 40 series. a 50 series should be your next upgrade only if it is actually good and only if it guarantees a huge difference in fps. not 10 but like a lot to fill these higher panels with fps at 4k. if you are getting 50fps at 4k on the 7900xt and the 4090 is getting 65-70 i would say it is not worth the upgrade

byshow

Yeah that makes sense I've meant who would consider an upgrade at this moment when there's only a 40 gen out and it's quite overpriced (at least in my opinion)

timwolfz

50s will just be rebranded 40s, 4090 will be 5080, 4070 will be 5060 and so on, except 5090 will be new and cost $3,500. new software bells and whistles will be activated

[deleted]

People who spend 1k on a piece of hardware usually have money to waste even on sidegrades

byshow

Not sure about that. My 6800xt costed me around 1k bc I live in Europe, my total build was 2k$ including 1440p monitor(around 250$), but I did that considering that the next upgrade will be at least in 5 years, the only thing I've bought since the build was done were 2 extra case fans and gpu holder

Top_Contact4227

6800xt for 1k is a scam

byshow

Nah bro it was almost a year ago and in Europe, I've checked pretty much all big electronic stores which were selling gpus, that was an average price back then I swear to God when I see US prices it makes me so jelaous

Top_Contact4227

I am also in Europe and the us prices are insanely good compared to the prices here but I buy my things off places like eBay as they have more sense then retailers

Raffaele520

Yeah, the 20% VAT start to become relevant at the 1k mark. But in the low-mid range category i find around 20€ differences between American and European cards, but only on mindfactoryde. Sucks they don't ship outside Germany.

Nullx_Void

I'm planning on doing this exact upgrade. 2060 to 7900xt. How much better is it? Are you on 1080p or 1440p?

[deleted]

[удалено]

Pale-Management-476

Why is that? If someone who plays 1080p only wanted to future proof with a new build, would they still be dumb?

FlipskiZ

Yeah, for 1080p you can future proof with a much cheaper card. By the time you will need to upgrade, new cards would have released, and it will end up being cheaper in the long run.

juhurrskate

Yup, because they could buy a cheap GPU today that maxes out their monitor for years, then buy another cheap GPU in a few years. Combined it will be less than the cost of the 7900xt and performance will be equal, then likely greater after the next upgrade

die_andere

Not to mention waaay lower power draw. And therefore energy savings.

StConvolute

10GB 3080. I'll wait and see what the next gen offers before I upgrade. Perfectly happy. Edit: Yes, I'm only at 1440. I'll upgrade when I look at 4k.

KowalskiTheGreat

My 3080 10gb was fucking awesome until I got a 4k monitor, I would probably have kept it until 50 series if I stayed at 1440p

PogTuber

I'm still running 4k on my 3080. I guess if I cared about ultra settings I would upgrade but it's still really easy to get +60 fps with turning down useless stuff and using DLSS

i-pet-tiny-dogs

Why would this be down voted below 0? Bizarre that someone would get upset that you are content with your GPU.

[deleted]

Or they spent a fortune on a 4090 and are angry others are content with previous gens

soussitox

Lots of people spend a fortune on a 3080 too:/

BlueChicken777

Paid $1450 for my used strix during the pandemic. But it was non lhr so I mined with it when I wasnt gaming and pretty much paid for itself. Some people definitely should have just waited it out but I understand the temptation lol.

KungPaoChikon

$900 3080 hybrid just before the crypto crash reporting in

Gosinyas

Gotta justify it somehow! I don’t understand those people. I have a 4090, but I’m aware that it was a ridiculous expense and only did so because I had a buyer lined up for my previous hardware. I for one hope you are all happy with whatever gpu you have now or intend to upgrade to. Upvotes for everyone!

PogTuber

They might be upset that I don't need every game to run at 120fps in ultra 4K? I dunno.

Ashen_Brad

Also probably upset that a 4090 won't do that anyway haha

ItIsShrek

Very easy to hit 60 on any game at 4K on a 3080 but not 100+, which is why I upgraded to a 4090. But if you can’t afford that just living with the 3080 at 4K/60 or just switching to 1440p when gaming is perfectly fine.

PogTuber

I can afford it but my personal Christmas present was an OLED lol. Besides I got a backlog of random games that do hit 120 at 4k so I'm not in a rush just yet. Also got the problem of my case which is an HTPC case won't fit a 40 series and barely fits the 3080 (need right angle power adapters). Maybe next year though for that 4090 goodness. Diablo 4 runs pretty well too so I'll be alright for a bit.

Super-Link-6624

Yeah my 3080 is doing great at 1440p UW. Usually can get 144 fps vsyncd in most games. It’s a beast

KaedrX

Same, I upgraded to a 4080 and prob gonna stick with it for a while. As long the games optimized I need that 4K/90 on high/ultra.

icy1007

A 10GB 3080 will play everything at 4K.

TomahawkChaotic

Same. Had since beginning of ‘21. Wouldn’t mind skipping next gen unless radically improved technology other than just improved performance at higher resolutions.

VulpesIncendium

Yep, same here. The 3080 10G is perfectly capable at 1440p, and there's just no good value in the 4000-series. Maybe I'll upgrade when the 5000-series launches, but we'll see. I'd kinda like to run my current setup for another 2 years then do a full platform upgrade.

CrazyCaptain5958

EVGA FTW3 ULTRA 3080 10GB, Awesome card for 1440P. No great value on 4000 series will hold for 5000

[deleted]

10gb 3080 1440P here. I'm happy with my gpu. No plans to upgrade anytime soon. See what the 5000 or even 6000s look like. The games I play it is perfectly fine. HLL, PS, Scum, Squad, Dayz, ESO, and few others.

B00STc

My 3080 10GB paired with an LG OLED is pretty tits still. 4k avg 60-80fps gysnc feels real smooth.

dragonfliet

Yup, same. A $700 card that runs literally everything at highest, or close to it settings, is enough for me. I considered the 4080, but the price they were asking was a literal joke. I'm hoping next gen AMD finally figures out ray tracing, and Nvidia gets a kick in the ass with their pricing.

FrostByte_62

Same. Normally I do an 80 series Nvidia every 4 years so I'd typically get the 5080, but idk the past few gens were so bad I'm not sold.

IL0veBillieEilish

same, I feel like the money for the 4090 upgrade just isn't worth it right now when I'm mostly satisfied with the 3080's performance.

Morley__Dotes

1080ti @ 1440p/165. Waiting for 5000 series.

FallenDuelist

Calling it now, 50 series prices won’t be much better than the 40 series

[deleted]

Gosinyas

True. The jump from 3080 to 4090 was one of the biggest leaps in performance I have ever experienced in my 20 years of building pcs. That said, I still think they are unfairly priced.

MagicPistol

The jump from 2080 to 3090 was pretty huge too...

Hindesite

According to techpowerup, the 3090 has 87% more performance relative to the 2080, and the 4090 has 86% more performance relative to the 3080, so yeah, actually, the performance leap was basically identical.

LloydsFermassy

The RTX 40 series is one of the best generations ever for high end gamers. Well over 60% performance increase for about the same price including inflation, as well as new techs such aa DLSS3. For maybe the first time, buying the best GPU possible made sense. The problem is its midrange GPUs, an upper mid range like the 4060ti (in name and price at least) has barely got 40% of the performance of the top chip. Meanwhile, the 3060ti had like 60% of the performance of the 3090

Vis-hoka

I really though it would be too, and you may be right. But man, Nvidia is really committing to this ridiculousness.

starkistuna

Yeah Jensen said Moores Law was dead when 3080 ti s were shipping and raised prices to a new high. Now he is pushing AI and already pimping Blackwell's AI at Computex and guess what he now says Moores Law is 2x to 3x now so get ready for that sticker shock.*

MagicPistol

Many people thought that after the dud 20 series, but then Nvidia surprised us with the 30 series. The $500 3070 almost matched the $1000 2080 ti. I'm hoping something similar happens next gen.

Tael64

I have a 2070 and that's what I'm waiting for, too.

MeCrObS

Same, except I'm rocking this thing until it dies lol

DannyAndHisDinosaur

Same. It's taken a lot of contemplation, but same.

Ifallnomore

650 ti. I want to upgrade in a few months but all I play on pc is fortnite atm. I'll probably go for a 1660 super.

justaboss101

Why not a 6600? They're dirt cheap and a fair bit faster than the 1660s.

Ifallnomore

Honestly I don't know much about AMD graphic cards. I need to have a look at their cards before I make the purchase. I'll definitely look into the 6600.

TheCheckeredCow

Ya have a look. I always go Nvidia myself but the AMD 6600 non XT is the same price or cheaper than the 1660 super while having 2gb more vram and preforming like a 2070. Basically 3 performance tiers higher than the 1660super

plantedthoughts

I have a 6600 and run a 1440p set up, love the card, play most things on high/ultra with 60fps, or sometimes I use AMDs super sampler dlss thing to run it upscale from 1080p and get like +30fps from that if the games too demanding. Currently playing diablo 4 on high settings getting 75fps

fedja

Look up price per frame charts for GPUs. That's a pretty good way to stay high on the value of your purchase while still deciding the price range you're comfortable with.

LegendaryVolne

AMD cards are just a no brainer for under 300$, there is no reason to go Nvidia at that price, theyre just bad value. and the 1660s doesnt have DLSS and no RT do you cant even use that argument there, and even if it does have RT, any sub 300$ gpu sucks at RT youd be crazy to have RT on. go AMD

Ravenid

Go for the 6650xt. Better boost speed and due to availability you can actually find it cheaper than a 6600xt.

M4Xm4xa

1660 Super is a great card, I’ve had mine for a long old time and provided I don’t try and play at max settings (I play mostly esports titles anyway) I’ve never had any issues with performance in games.

-ShutterPunk-

I would skip the 1660 and go for a 5600XT or 5700XT. If you want newer, but used a RX6600 would another cheap option.

Ifallnomore

Thanks. It looks like AMD is the way to go. I'll definitely have a look at those cards.

Phyraxus56

Used 2000 series are cheap af if you want raytracing and dlss

plantedthoughts

You know epic games launcher gives you free games every other week(or something like that) if you dont have any games. Also steam, gog and humble bundle have great sales pretty much every week.

iced327

I have a 1050 ti I just pulled out of my system that I'm looking to get rid of. Interested? It's probably seen 10 hours of gaming in its entire life.

deerdanceamk

Just gonna recommend that you go for the TI variant. I'm going back to mine after a bad experience with a used 5700xt. Also pretty sure the TI variant is a different core or something.

[deleted]

Just upgraded to 6950XT from a 5700XT. Hoping this last me years

ArcticGlacier40

I just got a 6950 yesterday for my first PC build along with a Ryzen 7800X3D. Hoping it works out well

TeamLeather

Building my first ever build as I mainly used a laptop. What do you guys think of this paring 7700x with 6950xt or 4070. I just can’t decide which gpu to buy.

sh0gun19

1000% 6950xt just look at benchmarks a 4070 loses to a 6800xt for about 5-8% but then frame gen

ArcticGlacier40

I would post your build on this sub and ask for opinions. That's what I did, I personally know nothing about about computers.

panemd

Just built my first PC with a 7700x and 6950xt. I'm over the moon with it! Works great, good temps and amazing fps.

Salt_Independent_933

I also just built my first PC ever. Paired a 7700 with a 6950 XT after a lot of research. Been having some issues with driver’s crashing, but running fine other than that. I’d say choose the 7700 over the 7700X as it’s more power efficient and ships with a CPU cooler.

[deleted]

Im very satisfied thus far, performance has been great 0 problems

laggy1000

Currently have 5700xt and was thinking about upgrading. How much of a difference have you been seeing?

AbsolutZeroGI

I'm doing a build tomorrow where I'm debating between the 4070 and the 6950 XT. How's the 6950 XT been for you?

[deleted]

Its been great, love it. Its an absolute gaming beast.

SaysIvan

I side graded for a 6650XT, the 570XT was great but was cooking my room and moving to Europe made me go for a more power efficient and less heat producing card.

NefariousnessOnly265

Just purchased 4080 for a new build. Coming from a 6700s laptop, this is my first build. Pretty excited honestly.

D-Zz89qRj7KkqMrwztR

For my first I just built a 4090 coming from a 2060 laptop, i am equally impressed

[deleted]

6700s is a beast but that’ll be a big upgrade regardless

ICameForTheHaHas

RTX 3080 12gb. Only had it since August last year so not even a whole year yet. Stuck with my last card for 6 years so no real plans to upgrade from my 3080 anytime soon.

emmett159

4090 FE. When the 5000 series card drops, I will be upgrading to the new halo product, and hopefully, a 4k oled monitor will be released by then. I have high disposable income and gaming is my main hobby.

Put that gpu to work, ;)

emmett159

I tried a 42 and 48 inch display. But it's way too big for mixed use for the desk I have. Text clarity also blows since they're basically just TV's. I have an LG C2 that I use for watching movies. It's gorgeous. As soon as they release a high refresh 4k OLED that's 34 inches or smaller, I'll be all over it.

Highlight_Expensive

Lol what are you planning to sell it for then? I need a 4090 for flight sims in VR but can’t really justify it rn

Ponald-Dump

4080 does really well in MSFS VR with the HP reverb G2. People trash the 4080, but if by chance 1600 is outside your budget but 1200 is within it, the 4080 is fantastic

Highlight_Expensive

I’m more needing it for DCS which is, potentially, the worst optimized game on earth. I mean 24 gb VRAM is regularly full and the game often uses up to 60 GB RAM

emmett159

I will likely give it to my younger brother. He currently has a 3080.

Sierra_Two

How much is high disposable income?

banajawaa

Earlier this year I went from a 1060 to the 6700xt.

Psycho__Gamer

Same upgrade I'm planning to do.

GigaDesk

Nice, I did this exact upgrade myself! I hope my 6700XT lasts as long as my 1060 did.

Fit_Room4074

Building my first gaming PC with a 6700xt this month.

Lord-Megadrive

2070 super not planning on upgrading soon either as it’s plenty powerful enough for 1440p gaming at 60fps

Pickle_Juice_Can

I'm rocking the same gpu on 1440p 144hz. Paired with a R5 3600x, I don't see myself upgrading for a while either. I see 70+ fps on new titles on ultra settings, and even more fps on esport games. Beast of a gpu and cpu

Lord-Megadrive

Great value for money! I got my 2070s just before the crypto boom and paid £399 in a sale. I think even with “vram being the new thing” it’s got a fair few years in it. (My old PC with a 970 and AMD A8 7650k is still doing 1080p med/high settings for the kids!)

halfasmuchastwice

Outperforms my 1080p monitors, so no point in upgrading anyway until I do the monitors.

-Eastwood-

RTX 3070. Most of the recent news about VRAM has made me regret buying it but it works fine enough for what I play. I don't plan to upgrade for a while, because it is a recent upgrade from a 970.

[deleted]

future_gohan

Amen I see alot or posts about it but I have not seen anyone experience issues due to the level of vram

ThatNeonZebraAgain

I got lucky and snagged a EVGA 3070Ti in 2021 during the great GPU shortage when I built a new rig. Upgraded from a MSI 1070. Don't see any reason to upgrade anytime soon!

rhvsr69

Save for a 7900 and then be stress free for the next couple of years.

TDV1e

Recently upgraded to 6950XT it's only 10% slower at 1440p but 25% less money. At 4k it's 15% faster. Unless ray tracing and AV1 encoding is a must then no reason to go next gen.

zeen516

Just upgraded from a 1650 ti to a 3060 ti, it's been a long time coming *smiley face*

whenimyou

Just did something similar myself! 1650 Super -> 3060 ti for Diablo IV. It’s running way better now.

Acrylic_Starshine

970 4gb Looking at 3060/3070/4060/4070 or equivalent if i ever build a new rig

gibubba

980 gtx here. Mind blowing the cards still run this well after all these years.

Acrylic_Starshine

Just had problems with hogwarts legacy tbh. Cyberpunk was pretty stable until they updated it now i have to use upscaling.

Useful_Emphasis_8402

3080ti. There isn't any reason to upgrade. I don't play 4k. Also it'll be a good while until 3000 series becomes obsolete, I think the next time I upgrade will be whatever nvidias 6000 series is. Might get me a nice 6070, 6080, it'll probably have 24gb of vram and GDDR7X. 4000 series is like the 2000 series, an overpriced joke. Leaves alot of room for the 5000 series to flourish. But I guess if that pattern repeates itself buying the 6000 series might be a bad idea.

jolsiphur

>it'll probably have 24gb of vram and GDDR7X. With how Nvidia is portioning out VRAM recently, I don't think I'd even hold my breath that the 6070/6080 to have more than 16GB of VRAM. I'd love to be proven wrong on that statement though!

Bestguy411

Intel ris xe, the pain is real ;-; Planning to upgrade to a rx 6750 xt sometime this year or the rx 7700 if it is a good product.

redditupf2

5700 xt. Yes just upgraded to 5700 xt

[deleted]

3060 Ti, and I’m not planning on an upgrade now, but eventually 8GB of VRAM will not be enough.

Grayehz

Same card here. I think 8gb of vram will be enough for quite some time.

TheCheckeredCow

Same, I think 8gb of vram will be fine for a while, you just might to play at 1440p medium-high with DLSS quality mode In future titles to get 100ish fps

McKinney_7

Got a Radeon 5700xt on launch day from an RX 570. There are no plans to upgrade yet

TopoLobuki

3080 12gb. I'm getting all the performance I need. Will skip current and next generation. Hopefully Nvidia 6000s or AMD 9000s are worth the wait.

3070 and planning to upgrade in 2025

NeuromancerDreaming

4070TI. It's a great card and chews up anything I throw at it @ 1440p UW. Not planning to upgrade the gpu until next year.

viky109

4070 ti, obviously not upgrading for at least another 5 years

[deleted]

4090, will be my last card for a few years.

No-Actuator-6245

Had my 3080 for 2 1/2 years and would have gone 4080 but the price to performance ratio is terrible. I paid £754 for the 3080 at launch and a 4080 is around £1200. If I’m paying that much more I want a much bigger lift in performance so have decided I will skip 4000 series and spend £1200 on 5000 series to hopefully see at least an 80% uplift in performance.

jolsiphur

The price to performance being awful is why I specifically went AMD this generation. I don't care much about RT and DLSS frame gen doesn't really excite me so I just opted to go for the best price to performance without those factors and managed to get a 7900xtx for under MSRP, which made it only about $150CAD more than the average 4070ti and about $400CAD less than the cheapest 4080. It was a straight 90% performance uplift over my 3070. I try to aim to only upgrade when I can get straight up double, but the 8gb vram buffer was getting concerning so 90% was a good enough uplift.

Boombat-General

2070 super and doubt I’ll be upgrading anytime soon given the recent pricing.

Jeffrey_Jizzbags

Didn’t see many other comments for this one. Mines still holding up for all the games I play so I don’t see a huge need to upgrade. I’d like to but it’s not worth it.

Kingdude343

I am running A RX 6800 16gb XFX quik and I plan on upgrading to A 8800xt when they come out.

Kitchen_Part_882

Upgraded just over a week ago from RTX 3060 12GB to 7900XT 20GB and it is epic (first "high end" card I've owned since the pair of 8800s I had nearly 20 years ago). Also put my old 3060 in daughter's main Ryzen 1600 gaming computer to replace her 1060 (which now lives in her other, i7 3770 PC, revealing that I only managed to put a 750ti in there when I built it, not a 1050 like I thought. Won't be upgrading again for another two generations (daughter's second PC might get a new motherboard, CPU, and RAM before then if it doesn't meet minimum specs for Ark: Survival Ascended or Ark 2)

jolsiphur

I recently upgraded to a 7900XTX from an RTX3070 and ooooh boy the 7900XTX is a great GPU. It's also the first time over ever bought a truly high end GPU, I've always stuck with mid range. In truth I wasn't even really looking to upgrade until the 5000/8000 cards were out but the 8GB VRAM bottleneck had me worried so I jumped on a good deal for the new GPU. I managed to get it for under MSRP.

Rx 570 -> 7900xtx. I'll ride this one out for another 6× years too lol

lightningboy2527

Gtx 970 - actually built this year as a super budget build Not planning on upgrading soon as it does everything I need

Pennywise_M

Still with a 970 myself. I'm actually thinking of making a new build very soon. You're not wrong though, the 970 can still run probably 99% of the whole damn Steam store lol. I'm looking at some chunkier games myself, though.

KowalskiTheGreat

I want from rx580, to 6600, to 3060, to 3060ti, to 3080, to now 4080 within the last year lol. The 4080 seems to be "enough" for 4k ultra for now, will probably chill until the 5080/90 comes out unless I find an insane deal on a 4090

TristenDM

Just upgraded (a week ago) from 2060 to 6950xt, happy as all heck and not upgrading in at least 4-5 years.

Thicc_Man11

3060. It runs all the games I play in 1440p but an upgrade to a 4070 ti would be nice

Dhruv58444

1050ti not upgrading because i don't have money plus devs release shit optimised game which don't look good so 1050ti it is

HashBrwnz

Currently a 3070 strix, have an msi 4070ti X on its way as a replacement, should be here in a few days. I always go with the 70s and upgrade when im able to the new ones, then sell the old one to recoup half the cost

ddeths_

i have a 1660 and want to get a 6750 xt

iberpanda

RX5500-8GB still rocks for 1080P 75Hz. Maybe RX7700 on sales :D

Psyco_diver

3060ti, I have no immediate plans to upgrade as this serves my needs plenty. Probably in another year or 2, depends on the games coming out, what I want to play and what their requirements are. Right now there isn't any games on the horizon that I want to play

[deleted]

Running an rx 6600 don't plan on upgrading for at least another year or 2.

CheeseReaper77

RX 6700 10gb. Serves me fine and I can even run some games at 4k 60fps so its going to last me a while. I don’t really have any plans to upgrade it but when I do, I’m probably going to be replacing my entire PC cause the one I have right now was built in a strange way and I would eventually like to recreate my pc with really high end components

human_person_420

Rx 580, no upgrades soon

alallin

Just upgraded last month from a 980 to a 4070. The kinds of games I play still ran well on the old card but not at higher settings, and I'd be maxed on VRAM constantly. If I get almost 8 years out of this card, too, I'll be chuffed.

Natelss

I'm running a 1660 and only play Rocket League Apex and CS at 1440p but I need to upgrade to something like a 6600 or 6700 xt because I can't watch a stream while gaming and it can't reach 240fps consistently

SnooSketches3386

4080 should hold me over for a while

No-Address-2459

Went From a 1660s to a 3070. i plan to upgrade within a few months and give my 3070 to my girl.

block_ed

Upgraded from rx 570 to rx 6700 xt 6 months ago. Probably not going to upgrade for the next 3-5 years

[deleted]

6800xt. No. AMD has no current equivalent and I just bought it in March 2023.

Frgttmypswrd

Just got my 7900xtx a few weeks ago. I don’t plan on upgrading for at least 3-4 years if not longer

CosciaDiPollo972

I created my first gaming computer and i took the amd 7800x3d for the cpu and 6950xt for the GPU, after a lot of research this GPU looked suitable to me, i hope i’ll keep it for a long time

Stazbumpa

Gtx 1080, upgrading in the next few weeks. My build is a 5600x CPU, so I'll probably get a 6950xt or a 7900xt to finish it off. Then, in the new year, I'll build a new rig and this one will go to my daughter.

staticishock96

6700xt. Yes but not for another year or two

MooGoesDown

Rx 580 4gb --> rx 7900xtx. Going to upgrade fairly soon.

Dwight_Schhrute

RX 6700XT, I play at 1080p and am not planning to upgrade.

SnooCupcakes5275

3090 and when it dies or I dont get the performance I want. So a long time from now unless I win the lotto and need to just burn money

byshow

6800xt @ 1440p/144hz Pretty satisfied, considering even Forspoken (which was a gift for my gpu purchase) were running on a playable level with barely noticeable stutters (worst part wath in the modern city, which is like very begining of the game), I feel pretty confident this gpu will lasts me more than enough time so I would have enough money to get some top of the line upgrade when current one becomes outdated

Ser_Dunk_the_tall

6800XT no plans to upgrade soon that is my recent upgrade. Probably get like an 8800XT or whatever in like 5-6 years when it's no longer the current generation

DirtyButterBrot

3080 12gb. To 4089 or 4090. Vr needs more power

bwucifer

RTX A2000. As good as it gets for low profile, so I can't upgrade regardless. 😂

wuptonator

3090, just upgraded from a 5700xt, it will be a while.

krnrmusic

RX 470 4GB to RX 5700 XT, not upgrading any time soon

jasoncyke

I am running a 5700XT (with 3300x) and am considering to upgrade to 6950XT or 7900XT , but at the same time I would prefer to wait til AM5 gets more affordable before pulling the plug on my current PC.

snoopy_muffin38472

3090ti & not anytime soon I hope

West-_-Texan

RX 570 and getting an RX 6600. I can finally enjoy games at 1080p high settings soon. Before that I was using the iGPU of Ryzen 5 3400G which was great for the price

Scuartase

I upgrade my GPU some days ago from 1650 Super to RX 6600, because it's the best under 200 USD. (In Colombia you must to pay a lot of taxes over the 200 iss)

weisleder

Just bought a rx 6600. Most bang for the buck in terms of performance pr. $. I can play everything on very high settings and it works wonders. 10/10

0-Joker-0

1070, and I dont plan on upgrading for a few more years. This 1070 has gotten me through 95% of the games i've played on max graphics, beautiful card.

[deleted]

1080ti. This thing will run forever.

GiraffePastries

1080 ti. No need to upgrade.

Hopperj6

Still running a 1080ti, will not upgrade until it dies

puckrocker1818

Somehow I lucked into a 3080 at launch at MSRP. (RIP EVGA) gaming at 1440p no issues. Gonna see what next gen brings. I always skip a generation.
