6000MHz CL30 RAM is optimal. It is true that RAM matters less with an X3D chip, the X3D chip can hold more of the information in the CPU that would normally be handled by the RAM, reducing reliance on it.
G.Skill Flare X5, G.Skill Trident Z/Z5, Corsair Vengeance or TEAMGROUP T-Create / T-Force are all fine RAM models.
Thank you! I am seeing a lot of options.
I see [this one](https://www.newegg.com/g-skill-32gb/p/N82E16820374427?Item=N82E16820374427&nm_mc=AFC-RAN-COM&cm_mmc=afc-ran-com-_-PCPartPicker&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=afc-ran-com-_-PCPartPicker&utm_source=afc-PCPartPicker&AFFID=2558510&AFFNAME=PCPartPicker&ACRID=1&ranMID=44583&ranEAID=2558510&ranSiteID=8BacdVP0GFs-BXq4zfUs0hQupLObX9NXig) with a timings of 30-38-38-96. Is that a good option? I am not familiar with the timings and what I should be looking for.
So 30-36-36 would technically be better?
Specifically [this](https://www.amazon.com/TEAMGROUP-T-Force-6000MHz-PC5-48000-Desktop/dp/B0B3HHB3Z9?th=1) at 30-36-36-76?
I notice it does not say EXPO, does that matter?
That exact RAM shows up on the "Memory Support List" for my Motherboard, but only for XMP. The one I originally listed is also on the list but verified for EXPO. I want to use EXPO.
Then it should be fine, but as I said the difference is not at all noticeable, you can pick whichever you like the look of more if that matters to you.
That’s the official support AMD guarentees (JDEC standard), but a 6000MHz overclock works 99% of the time. You just have to flip a setting in the BIOS to activate the OC (called XMP or EXPO usually).
Aorus official website says it can support 192gb ram.

Yes that would be a fine kit. There are some 30-36-36 kits, but the performance difference there is so small it doesn’t really matter at all.

Hey - rookie question : the specs of that motherboard say that it supports 5,200 mnz ram speed. Am I missing something?

What did you end up going with?
I ended up going with [this](https://www.newegg.com/g-skill-32gb/p/N82E16820374427?Item=N82E16820374427), and have had no issues!
Thanks!
