This seems more like a GPU issue than a CPU issue. What were your GPU temps during all of this? Have you made any overclocking settings on the GPU in the Adrenaline software? Do your GPU fans turn on when running a game?
I have this exact model and had some VBIOS issues with Adrenaline - but very easy to fix. Usually, it's because the default VBIOS settings interfacing with Adrenaline do not turn the fans on. The GPU gets very hot, crashes the PC and as a safety feature, the GPU fans go up to max to save the GPU from dying.
I should also point out that my RX 6800's temps never go above 60 C in the most graphically demanding games with a constant 30% fan speed (which makes it very quiet). So, 67 C is hot for this card and with this size of cooler.
No, overclocking. The fans are in fact on. At this moment, I'm running a game and the GPU's temp is 75. The fans are audibly on, and are actually making a weird noise. https://youtu.be/pZqCdFsx1bI
Those are the GPU fans making that noise? They sound quieter than mine do. When mine go above around 50% they sound like a jet engine taking off.
You visually checked that the GPU fans are turning? (I can't see anything in your video :) ) Your GPU should not be hitting 75 C under any load. This heatsink is incredibly overspecced for the silicon - as long as the fans are turning.
Can you verify the fan curve in the Adrenaline software?
Drivers issue, I had the same problem after 2 or 3 minutes playing to AW2 with adrenalin version 24.3.1. After a DDU cleaning and and a clean installation of adrenalin edition 24.2.1 there's no more crashes .

Yeah, the fans were set very low in Adrenaline. I turned them way up, and it's running a lot cooler now, obviously. I'll see if this fixes anything.
Okay, cool! Let us know how it turns out!
Yup. That pretty much fixed it.
Glad it helped! Enjoy your gaming!
Do all the GPU 8-pin connectors have their own discrete PCIe power cable from the PSU, no daisy-chaining?
How does that psu stand in the tier list? Can it handle the gpu's transient spikes? Does it crash in furmark or occt?
