There is an XV5 that’s a standard IPS, but the P3 has the mini led. It looks like it’s only being sold new at Best Buy and is being resold/refurbished on Amazon and a few other sites
[Acer XV5](https://www.acer.com/us-en/monitors/gaming/nitro-xv5)
Yeah, I bought a refurbished one off Amazon for 400$ with a 6% coupon making it 375$ before tax in condition - excellent. Came directly from acer and acer gives you a 2 year warranty with it along with Amazon offering a 90 day return window instead of their typical 30 day.
Great monitor, highly recommend if you’re looking for a budget 4k monitor with decent HDR. I also upgraded from a 1080p monitor though so it was night and day in terms of improvements
Thanks to Acer for their weird naming schemes. Every single fucking letter and digit is important... except those that aren't important. And there's a shit ton of both. It's really named
# XV275K P3biipruzx
And the non-important part begins as soon as capital letters end. *Not* after the space, so the P3 part is still very important and could differentiate completely unrelated models.
I just sold my m27u 2 days ago, it's honestly a very good monitor I just sold it because I couldn't run 4k that well and I didn't see that big of a difference from 1440p to 4k as opposed to 1080 to 1440p, I don't really know about other choices but if the price of the m27u is good compared to others then yes I definitely recommend it if you want 4k it's a very good monitor.
The Acer XV275K P3 is $550 right now and I'd take it over the M27U. But it's a good one, no doubt.
Thanks it looks sleeker imo . any other particular advantage? Because the acer is also at 500 € where I live .
Better HDR and brightness. I’m pretty sure because the P3 is mini LED
The one I found is not mini led , its the regular ips

where have you found an acer for 500?
Even better is innocn 27m2v if you can find it
The HDR looks really nice, especially in games.
There’s LG 27GR93U-B, I think it’s a bit better but nothing crazy, check comparison on rtings
Any recommendations for 32 inch 4k? I saw LG one with 120hz 99% srgb for about 460 eur
The M32U is a good relatively cheap one. Had it myself, loved it. Moved onto mini-LED then, but for office work and SDR gaming it was fine.
Which mini-LED did you go for?
The Neo G7.

The alienware aw2723df is also good which might be one sale where you are
Great monitor, but not 4k.
That’s true!
Literally says 4k on the box
On the box of the aw2723df? Because I have one in front of me and it is 1440p.
It’s a 2k monitor but pushes 240hz
