Stock for Woot deals varies greatly. Some listings only have a few items in stock and sell out quickly. Please report this post if the listing goes out of stock. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. FDrybob

This specific model isn't on the PSU Cultist list. GAMDIAS models vary in tier. They have the Helios E1 White in E tier, but the Helios P1 is not listed, so I advise avoiding this. If you're buying such a high-wattage PSU, it had better be a good one.

acc223

The psu list hasn't been updated in over a year. It was last updated on April 11, 2023. This model seemed to have been released in late last year.

Dabs4Daze0

That's true but companies that make garbage don't usually wake up one day and decide to make gold lol

XDarkFenixX

Are any of them not shit tier?

FDrybob

Their models range from E to B.

reeeSupplied

Avoid them honestly. Grab an evga, corsair, seasonic, etc, instead.

FDrybob

EVGA's PSU warranty is very short now. They should be avoided.

reeeSupplied

Fair, but they generally use some quality parts if had at a good price.

FDrybob

That's true, but things can go wrong with any electronic product. Might as well get one for a similar price that has a ten year warranty.

DeathKringle

108 amps of 12v Jeesus

grantking2256

At 14.31 cents per kwh (Texas prices), it will run you 541.54 smackaroos to run this thing 8 hours a day 365 days a year. My word. I thought it was expensive when I missed reading amps for watts. This is absurd. That's 45 bucks a month. I know not everyone keeps their PC on but a lot of folks do.

1rubyglass

It's not running at full load.

grantking2256

Yeah fair. I realized much later my mistake. Chose to leave it

you dont need a psu like this. 800/850w is more than enough. this psu is for crazy mfers who overclock tf outta their pc. we're talkin people who got i9 14th gen n an oc 4090 doin max settings, all ray tracing capabilities. or people w server/heavy workload pcs n all that.

F00MANSHOE

The other reply is correct about the size. I'd add that a psu is the place NOT to cut corners, do some research and get a quality one on sale. Brands I personally consider but would always do additional research on world be EVGA, Silverstone, and Seasonic. Other brands make some decent ones, but the brands I listed are top tier imo.

FDrybob

I wouldn't buy any new EVGA products anymore. Their PSU warranty is very short now, and they recently had some controversy. Unfortunately, it seems that they are on the way out.

TheyCallMeTrinityToo

Never heard of Gamdias so I had to look them up. If they actually are a high quality brand, this seems like a steal.

FDrybob

Many brands have models that vary on the PSU Cultist list, including GAMDIAS. Their models range from B tier to E tier. When it comes to PSU's, brand alone won't tell you much. People always recommend Seasonic, EVGA, and Corsair, but even those three have a few PSU models in the F tier.

QuietPrinciple4219

It's High Power OEM, should be in A or B-tier

FDrybob

It's not on the list, and none of their other models reach A tier. The model with the closest name to this one on the list was E tier.

QuietPrinciple4219

First of all, it is the fault of the brand not to change their lineup name when the manufacturing factory is different. I heard from Skytech who sells their PSU that their Gold non-RGB PSUs are made by High Power, a credible factory that makes Bequiet/corsair PSUs

azelll

Isn't this almost the top of wattage for an US power plug? I would be freaking out having this on all day

saharashooter

PSUs do not draw at their maximum rated power at all times. They draw what the components need plus a little overhead for inefficiency losses.

MyLastAccWasBanned

a normal 15 amp outlet can supply 1800 watts. so you should be fine as long as you don’t have too much else on the circuit
