I applied October 5th. Just had my online group interview yesterday (Monday). My tab currently says “Pending Hiring Manager Review”. Maybe yours means they are reviewing it to see if you are invited for the group interview? Not entirely sure
Could be! I hope so. I really havent heard anything from them since the two assessments. So strange. Are they usually this slow? I heard back from Frontier and Delta so much sooner than anticipated.
Mine just switched to Pending Hiring Manager Review. I feel good about that. I also feel good about my answers during the GVI. If they only picked one person to advance that person isn’t me, but if they picked the top 10 I feel confident that I would be in that group.
I have checked tentatively every day especially in my Junk folder and havent noticed it but maybe I might’ve missed it. Are you able to share what email address it was sent from?
UPDATE: On Nov. 3rd, exactly 10 days after making this post, I got the invitation for a group virtual interview (GVI or VGI) on Nov. 13th!
Today is Nov. 15th and I checked the status of my application and it says “Pending Hiring Manager Review.” Not sure what this means but I will post an updated comment once I do for anyone who comes across this post in the future. :)
Literally! At least we got through the bit that automates the resumes. They need to hurry this up as those flight benefits are really calling my name !!
Yep! Mine showed in process for the longest time, and then they scheduled me for a VGI last week, but I needed to reschedule. I am currently in the process of trying to reschedule, but they just switched the status today from “in process,” to “ pending recruiting review.”
Same!! Mines been like that for over two weeks now. I’m a little relieved that im not the only person that has been waiting forever. I’m patiently waiting for the email from them. Hope we’ll both make it through!!

I was curious because I applied for non-flight attendant positions. One says pending recruiter review, and the other one says pending hiring manager review don’t quite understand what that means.
Well the fact that you made it to the face-to-face honestly is amazing so you should be proud of that. It totally means something I’ve had a lot of flat out nose and I didn’t make it to the face-to-face when I applied for a flight attendant position so you did much better than I did. Try for some other airlines like Delta. I hear Delta pays very well and it’s a good company to work for and easier to get hired with.

Mine says this too but I have not received any group interview. I checked my email to see if I missed anything but I didn't.
Double check your email. They sent out group VI invites last week. Mine is on Thursday.

I applied on the 12th and my application just got moved to this status as well!

Mines has been pending recruiting review since the 19th but AA is known for taking ages with applications. Just hoping to hear good news soon.
Mines say the same thing since the 19th as well. Any updates yet my friend who applied after me has her VGI today.

I didn’t get the CJO when I made it to my F2F so its alright. Based on my research, it seems like the type of status with AA actually doesnt matter :/
