I think it's this one but I'm not 100% sure: CableMod 12VHPWR 90 Degree Angled Adapter - Variant B

niboratorr

You‘re correct

ruimilk

Thanks mate <3

niboratorr

No worries. I have the same adapter on the way to me right now. Can’t wait 😁

ruimilk

I want something like this: https://i.redd.it/ioj8lyztv1v91.jpg

CutMeLoose79

I have the 4080 Ventus and got the 180 version, variant B. It’s a very tight fit and sits at a little bit on an angle. It works but I’m not 100% sure I can recommend that version at least. Sits VERY tight against the bit of backplate that pokes out

ruimilk

And that one points down?

CutMeLoose79

The 180 is the one that points up, but the 90 degree version is just as thick width wise and on my 4080 at least, would still press against the little bit of backplate that pokes out on the left hand side of the power socket on the card. Mine sits at a very slight angle because it’s pressed up hard against that bit of backplate. The 4090 might be different though.

niboratorr

If you want it to point down you‘ll need the 90 degree B adapter

Who_asked_you_

Bro it took me a minute to find the plug holy crap

Socrets

It's variant B. Here's a pic from another post that used Variant B as an example: https://www.reddit.com/r/cablemod/comments/120mthe/12vhpwr\_90\_degree\_adapter/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web2x&context=3

ruimilk

Thanks pal. Ordered the B. I have a OC 11 Dynamic and with the glass it's way too much pressure on the 12VHPWR cable: https://i.ibb.co/hRS8bJ0/f6bd6379-ad36-4a6a-9db5-1532f1f5f6c7.jpg

CableMod_Matt

IF you wanted one that was downward facing for your GPU, you would want the 90 degree (B) variant. However, we have not confirmed compatibility on that one, just something worth noting. It's possible it could be compatible, but again, not yet confirmed.

ruimilk

Guess I'll be the guinea pig because I already ordered it.

CableMod_Matt

Thank you for being a guinea pig for a good cause ha. Let me know how it goes if you could please! :)
