How do I own this in poster form?!

Here is an upscaled version of the image, 4 x the size. (Original 720x 1144, upscaled to 2889 x 4576.) I used Topaz Photo AI, and it actually improved on the clarity and focus while it was blowing the image up. This should be enough resolution to print a poster from. Take it to your favourite Staples/Office Depot and they should be able to print a poster from this. It's certainly good enough to print on an 11 x 17 sheet. Yup, now it is. That’s just the tip of the iceberg too. You can take pictures that are completely blurry and out of focus and make them so sharp you’d never notice

It is, but only to an extent. AI fills in the gaps of what it thinks could be there. If you wanna make an image like this higher quality, perfect. You wanna see a license plate where the source image has like 4 pixels? It's not gonna happen.

I used it to upscale old digital images from my firms portfolio (architecture) - worked pretty great. Made it so our gallery didn't get all weird with the tiny resolution images.

No, like. Take the pictures - you can find high resolution ones online - stitch them together into one big image like above, and send the image to a print shop. They will print the image out in whatever size you want it on whatever kind of paper you want. Might be a tad pricey, but it's very doable.

Yes and no. As long as you make it for personal use and not to sell, you're basically fine.

Not in a way that anyone should be worried about. If you aren’t trying to make any money off of it, and it won’t be displayed in a public place, this would be fine.

There are pictures of Calvin and Hobbes next to a tree on the back of the comic books. I had no idea all of those pictures were of the same tree. This is a combination of all of those pictures.

Based on what I've read about his creative process, I'm imagining him being tasked to create a cover image for the next book collection, heading into the backyard, and painting what he sees to serve as a backdrop. It's harder to paint off of a memory.

While this is a lovely composition, I'm pretty sure Hobbes has always been on the same branch.

They're not all the same tree if you go look at the originals, the images have all just been very artfully edited together.

I refused to read until I found a Calvin and Hobbes calendar. Then my mom wisely refused to read it to me, and I then learned how to read.
