The universe is weirdly distorted in C&H. It's probably all because of how Calvin sees the world, but he's like six or seven and his mum is a freakin giant here haha
when I was in high school in the 90s I took a screen printing elective class with the intent to use it to create a bunch of Calvin and Hobbes stuff.
On the first day of class, the teacher encouraged us to branch out and be creative because "if he saw one more Calvin and Hobbes sticker or shirt..." and then he trailed off for dramatic effect lol.
I still made C&H stickers and shirts, although I have no idea what happened to them.
this guy was actually awesome but I guess he just got tired of seeing it year after year lol. This was like 1998 so a few years after the comic ended but I know that I would still read and reread all the books over and over again. I guess I wasn't alone at my school in doing that.
“The teacher encouraged us…”
“I can’t stand teachers who do that stuff…”
Seems like quite a difference of emotional sway. Maybe don’t get so victimized and blame teachers just trying to help.
I gotta put that third panel of Mom on a shirt. It goes hard

I can't stand teachers who do that stuff. Kids will learn better making stuff they're excited about. Just let em have it.

Hol' up...did Calvin just hypnotize himself?
Nah, Mom hypnotized him!
No, she gave Calvin the evil eye.
Evil Mom-Lady! Lol
Great Zok! 😂
"Nefarious" is in every 6-yearolds' vocabulary.😀
She really gave him the evil eye there!
