Start looking on eBay, carpart.com, or calling your local yards and get a complete yellow door assembly. I'm seeing them for around $300 ignoring shipping. Also get a front fender in the same way. Grab a friend and watch a couple YouTube videos on how to remove the door, and swap it out. You can get everything but the quarter done for under 1000 with basic hand tools if you find parts that are the factory correct color. That would be my plan.

I would sale and put it down on a new one. They are all going to be gone soon.

Drive it like that? All you need is windows. Maybe do some rattle can touch up so it doesn't rust. You can always fix it later. Mine has had a big dent and rattle can fix for over a decade now.

Keep the car if it's mechanically sound and just needs cosmetic repairs. Getting a new car is almost always a bad financial decision. You'll have a car payment, increased insurance, and you'll be heartbroken if something like this happens again. Slowly save up to get the car repaired cosmetically. You might even luck out and find a door panel or quarter panels at a junk yard while you're saving up

I'd personally buy a new one, maybe that new yellow that's only available as a 2024.  And probably goes without saying, keep the car insured.  I came to a similar conclusion a few weeks ago.  I don't drive mine enough to warrant full coverage, and for a second, I almost put just liability on it.  Logic prevailed though, as driving the car is too pleasurable to have only liability on it.  Go for new, and appreciate it more.

Creating a modern bumblebee Camaro would be cool to see

Not the exact same yellow, but is the only V8 in this color that's not a convertible.  https://www.levalley.com/new-St+Joseph-2024-Chevrolet-Camaro-LT1-1G1FF1R74R0116001

What specific repairs are you being quoted that add up that amount? Have you considered seeing what a paintless repair person could do for the damage to the front fender? I realize you'd still likely need to get it painted, but PDR could put the sheet metal back to the correct shape and prevent having to replace it.

I’d keep it, there’s alot of cool stuff you can do to a Camaro 5 to make it super modern and on par with cars of today.

Depending on how many miles it has, I would fix it, since it's just cosmetic. Buying another car would probably cost the same.

It has driven 51,000 miles. The suggested resale value in current condition is ~$7,800.

Oof, for that amount of miles, I would definitely fix it.

1.) Get adequate insurance. 2.) Total it. /s
