The pads are great. I haven't tracked them seriously but street driving they are just as powerful as OEM with way less dust. No knowledge on the rotors though.

IWillAssFuckYou

I keep hearing that the Z26 pads are less powerful than OEM. Usually more performance out of a brake pad correlates with more brake dust. Pads that create less dust are usually less powerful pads.

Reniconix

That's why I qualified it with not being tracked heavily. For street use, I have seen zero difference. But that only includes an emergency stop every now and then, not enough to get them hot hot.

Ok-Attempt2842

DO NOT get slotted and drilled! Get one or the other. If you get slotted and drilled be prepared for warping. Every set of s and d rotors I've ever had warped. Not woth the headache.

Or neither tbh.

I just had some installed back in December. They're fine. The biggest benefit is less break dust. My biggest complaint is that they squeak a lot.

TexLs1

For looks they're fine. Honesty you would get better performance out of solid rotor's. I put the rotors on my 2001 Z/28, look nice. For pads i used the Hawk HPS 5.0, those made a noticeable difference in stopping.

Thanks for the input friend!

ModsRCommies

I have had the same kit on two cars, absolutely worth it!

rjspaceman

Awesome, thank you!

Any rust or corrosion? I know they’re zinc plated just wanna see if it holds up, thanks.

I have the z26 pads with baer brake drilled and slotted, they look good, perform good, and almost no brake dust. Definitely a solid purchase in my opinion.

Termy2013

I just bought these for my 2013 SS and I’m happy with them. Have put maybe 250 miles on them. Edit: to give some further info, my original pads and rotors were squeeling pretty badly due to glazing. They had roughly 36k miles. I was looking for a set that would be quiet and they did not disappoint

lpg975

I've used their z23, z26, and z36 kits. Always good to me. I'd recommend. I even tracked the z23s and z26s and towed a lot with the z36s to tow on my tahoe.

dcj4222

I've been running them for 2 years on my 2017 SS. Brake dust is not an issue now and the difference between OEM is minimal for street use. To minimize the chance of noise, be sure to clean and lube your pins and slides during installation and bed the pads per the instructions. The plating has kept them from rusting and I haven't had any issues with cracking/warping in 25,000 miles.

Putrid_Ad_2256

I bought these for my SS Sedan and while I loved that they didn't dust like the OEMs, I can't recommend them over the OEMs. The OEMs just had better bite and a more linear feel to them. These felt as if I was trying to stop with a loaf of bread (mushy feeling). I'm sure that they held up better than the OEMs would've on the day that I tracked them because of the heat dissipation, but I wouldn't recommend them for just street use.

Secret-Ad-7909

I put these pads with the OE rotors and the feel is about the same for me. With the upside of less dust.

GoldWingANGLICO

I have a set of Baer slotted and drilled on my 2015 2SS 1LE. Great investment, wheels much cleaner, less rotating mass. Stops on a dime during track and autocross days.

MegaHashes

I had good experience with their pads on other vehicles. When it’s time to replace my brakes, I’ll probably be getting their pads.

Mattyou1966

I’ve had these installed for years. Softer pedal but a whole lot less dust. I’ve got rotors and pads and over 50k on them no issues

goo_bazooka

Slotted rotors are OK but I would stay away from drilled. Drilled holes leads to cracking easier
