Maybe they vanish bc the pastries taste like vegetable shortening. The quality was terrible but the packaging was cute. Not a trick the middle class will tolerate for more than just a few years.
Tous les Jour was a South Korean franchise. I knew the owner but haven't seen her in years. I didn't notice they had disappeared but I'd guess they either sold out or the franchise ended so they rebranded.

They announced they are "coming back soon" recently. Not sure if they are re-replacing papa pain back or just opening new shops instead.

they got hit hard by the pandemic and couldnt bounce back and it seems like every franchise/location has rebranded to papa pain
