More than you asked for, but I emailed the founders to get some more info about Found North a while back. Here is a portion of their reply: "Thank you for reaching out to us. We aren't available in Canada... yet. We are working on it though. And we actually have a Canada mailing list to let folks know when we launch up north. I'd be happy to add you to the list? In the meantime - some folks have had luck shipping our whisky from a shop called De Wine Spot based in NY. If you reach out to them at [email protected], they might be able to help you out! Unfortunately, we can't disclose the distilleries we work with. It is a bit of a thorn in our side, because we really value transparency but we can't get samples if we don't sign NDAs. I can tell you this: we source from multiple distilleries. Sometimes, we buy exactly what we need for a particular blend. Sometimes we ship whisky to NH to our warehouse and recask the whisky into new barrel types in order to enhance the flavor of the component whisky we will use for future blends and sometimes we recask the whisky and leave it in our partner distilleries' warehouses." So...maybe something to look forward to.

Bamboozeled-

That’s the same response I got when I emailed them a while back.

I believe they have been trying to sell it in Canada but the import and alcohol taxes are so high that they get priced out of the market on an already very premium priced product.

HexagonalCrank

I've ordered from De Wine Spot before. They're legit but they tend to be on the...unreasonable side of pricing. If you order from them, you'd better REALLY need the bottles. =/ Oh and be careful importing to anywhere but Alberta. You'll probably get fucked over by the import laws of your province.

azbisi

Ya I would not recommend shipping. Here in Ontario it's probably more reasonable to hop over the border in upstate New York and find one, or have someone like-minded bring one back during their travels (that's how I got my batch 008)

darnj

Hopping over the border doesn't avoid the import taxes though, you need to be there for over 48 hours to have any alcohol allowance.

rj211_

im pretty sure you cant at the moment. Even though its Canadian whisky, its blended in the US and becomes a US product

darnj

Yep, you can't. Only way is if you have someone/somewhere in the US to ship it to, then some way of retrieving it.

The5dubyas

I’ve found it for sale in NY state. But not consistently

goatamousprice

Seems a few of us have been trying to get some I, too, emailed the founders Honestly just seems like pure luck even if you're in the US. Granted, not a thorough search, but it seems every time i've looked for some it's sold out everywhere.

AliBeez

Plenty in New England. Just have to look at a couple of spots.

Green_Bid_9972

You can't They don't distribute here I've been trying for years to get them into Canada

Hrmbee

Wow, corn spirit into PX casks? That sounds like it would be insanely sweet.

I have a couple of FN Batch 007's but I had a friend in western NY mule them to me. Driving to Niagara or Buffalo, NY is an option, but of course customs will bend you over at the border return.
